Chapter 8-
Sammy started "It's a bad news Raghav, Kalpana's husband Prem died last week."
Raghav was utterly shocked, he was so hurt that a tear or two escaped his eyes.
Even though he had a crush on her, he never wanted anything bad to happen in her life..NEVER.
Sammy soothed him down by caressing his shoulder.
Raghav was crying silently but bitterly facing towards the window.
"Do you want to go home? Or continue with office work? You can do anything, you please."Sammy suggested to a broken Raghav.
Raghav wiped away his tears with his thumb and said "No, I want to go to the office."
Respecting his decision, Sammy drove off to the office.
The day went by with Raghav and Sammy attending meetings. While Kalpi worked upon on some files and had conferences with people around the world.

Dubai Heights -
Kalpi reached the apartments and got off the car.
She went towards the lift and pressed the button but to her shock there wasn't any electricity.
"Seriously? No electricity here, in Dubai??"She talked with herself.
She saw the guard and called him to her. She enquired him about the electricity but all he said was that some repair work is going on and the generator's not working. The generator will get repaired within an hour or so.
Kalpi was standing their calling someone on her cell when Raghav arrived alone as Sammy needed to do some important work in Pune and had already left for there.
Raghav who had still not come over the loss Kalpi had suffered in her personal life, came absent-minded towards the lift and pressed the button.
Kalpi finished her call and turned right to find Raghav standing beside her.
Anger took over her and she shouted at him but first turned him to face her by pulling onto his shoulder, "Oh hello?? I know you are a respected businessman, then why are you stooping so low mister? You are just following me from anywhere to everywhere!! Be it my home, flight, office or even this apartment! For God's sake, spare me!!". Raghav who was listening to her taken aback reciprocated, "Listen Kalpana, I am not at all invading your privacy! And you were the one who fell onto me in the hospital and being agentleman I dropped you off safely at your home. Then the plane incident it was mere co-incident. And today's office meeting... it was totally professional! Understand?!"
Kalpi kept listening to him by folding her hands.
"And why are you here?".
Raghav ignored this question and took the stairs.
Kalpi repeated "Why are you here? Answer me Mr. Singhania! If you'll not, I'll consider you a lier!" Raghav was standing on the second stair and ignoring her, moved ahead.
Kalpi was damn furious this time as this was the very first time she faced ignorance towards her.
Not accepting defeat, she repeated once more "Why didn't you answer me? What the hell are you doing here?? Tell me!!"
Raghav couldn't take in any more, "'Cause this is my home!!!! Got it???? And you have no right asking me anything now!! I am leaving! " He had left Kalpi shell-shocked. She couldn't understand what had just happened. But when she realized the truth, she was hurt for hurting Raghav...for blaming him, for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Raghav had climbed up till the second floor, when he realized that how will Kalpi climb upstairs with a injured feet.
He sighed and hurried down, jumping off two stairs at a time with his one hand in the pocket and the other one busy handling the blazer.
Kalpi turned her face, seeing him arrive. But then she thought apologizing him and turned to face Raghav, who was standing leaning against the stairs with his hands in pockets.
"Actually I am sorry...I really didn't knew that you also live over..."Raghav interrupted her and said "No,no! It's ok! Even I am sorry for my harsh tone, you really infuriated me."He chuckled. Kalpi was gonna answer back only to be stopped by Raghav "Hey, hey! Cool down..I really just don't have the power to start another fight with you!".
Kalpi smiled this time.
"Why aren't you going to your house now?"Kalpi asked politely.
Raghav chucked "By the way...I like the politer Kalpana!"
Kalpi blushed "You didn't answer my question. "
"Actually, there's someone too who's downstairs and just can't climb up the stairs... so I was thinking if I could help?" Raghav offered and winked.
"Hey! Wait is this referring to me?"
"Maybe!"Raghav answered.
She hit him slightly on his arm.
"So should I?" Raghav asked.
Kalpi answered in a blunt no, Raghav was left disheartened.
She started climbing up the stairs, she winced in pain with every step she took.
Raghav watched her worriedly, with a great amount of concern in his eyes.
He went up to her and started helping her but she shoved him away, infuriating him.
He didn't accept defeat, rather he went up to her a few more times but she shoved him away, every single time.
They had reached the 2nd floor.
This time when Raghav went up to her, Kalpi started giving away her lecture to him, asking him not to try being helpful or friendly towards her.
Raghav listened to all of her speech with his one hand on the waist and the other one busy rubbing his temples and forehead.
At last, Raghav had enough of this and just couldn't take her talks more...so he kissed her shut angrily and harshly.
Kalpi was shocked, she tried freeing herself from his hold but he was lot more stronger than her so she eventually gave up.
The kissed turned into a passionate one as Kalpi submitted herself to him.
They kissed until they were out of their breaths.
Both of them looked at each other, not able to make eye contact more than 10 nano-seconds because of what they had just did. They kept standing there, fiddling with their things.
Guilt filled inside Kalpi, as she couldn't believe that she let Raghav kiss her. She was hurt on breaking Prem's trust.
But she didn't cry as she didn't want Raghav to know that she was weak. Raghav came forward and murmured a low sorry to her. Kalpi didn't answer. And the next thing she felt was that she was up in Raghav's protective and muscular arms, heading up the stairs. Raghav too, knowing that Kalpi would not agree at this, lifted her up without asking for her consent. Kalpi was rather shocked and being still not able to forget the intimate moment she shared with Raghav, she forgot to fight with him.
Kalpi kept staring at Raghav while he kept crossing floors after floors. Raghav was exhausted, but he didn't complain, maybe because of the guilt of kissing her even then when such a great tragedy happened to her, Prem's death.
As they reached the 10th floor, Raghav slowly kept Kalpi on the ground. Kalpi was stubborn but not bad at heart.
"Thank you."she said.
Raghav smiled in response.
As Raghav started to move towards 14th floor, Kalpi called him out, "You can stay here if you want, until you feel better. Because you seem tired."
Raghav already felt better, seeing that she cared for her.
