Chapter 7-
Kalpi got out of the elevator and heaved a sigh of relief after her long and tiring journey.
She opened the door and entered but the only thing she found was lots and lots of dust.
"Ahh...now I even have to clean this mess up! But I am not gonna spare the broker who promised me that the house is gonna be as clean as a crystal!! Lier!" She muttered to herself and kept her hands on her waist, all tired and irritated.
As she tried moving forward her leg hurt.
She scoffed at herself.
"Hahaha..now this! First I am tired, then this house which is totally a mess and my injured ankle is working upon like the cherry on the tasteless cake."
She limped into the house and bolted the door.
She went inside a room and cleared a corner for herself to sit.
It was 12 noon.
The rest of the day Kalpi kept working upon her laptop and conferencing to people.
At last, she went into the kitchen and made coffee and noodles for herself.
The kitchen was equipped with basic necessities and ready to cook food as requested by Mrs. Kalpana Kapoor.
She cleaned up a portion of the bed in the master bedroom required by her.
She slept peacefully that night.

It was morning and Kalpi had already woke up and dressed up for her first day at Dubai office as the CEO of Jadhav Infrastructure.
Raghav was in a hurry as he was late again, actually it was his routine, getting up late and rushing for office like wild people. While, Sammy had the habit for waiting for his always late friend!
At last he was ready.
Kalpi locked her house and stood waiting for the lift.
The lift arrived and she entered. She pressed for the ground floor but it instead went up as Raghav too had called for the lift.
She pouted and picked up her ringing phone.
She was busy finding something in her handbag when the lift halted at 14th floor.
Raghav literally gasped seeing her and jumped towards the side hiding his face.
Sammy stood their dumbfounded and clueless about Raghav's awkward reaction towards her.
Raghav gestured him to take the lift and leave.
Sammy still not able to understand anything entered the lift.
As the lift hurried down, Raghav too rushed down the stairs before the lift could reach. He threw his bag into his car and settled down on the driving seat.
He saw Sammy coming closer to him and he even knew the rapid fire of questions which was going to be shot by Sammy himself.
All tired because of the running and the fear of what will I explain Sammy, Raghav rested his head on the steering wheel, breathing heavily.
Sammy opened the door and sat beside him with a tell-me-what's-the-matter look!
Raghav sighed and pouted.
"Do you really wanna know it??"Raghav enquired.
"Um-hum"Sammy replied.
After 10 minutes, Raghav ended his story telling! By now, Sammy understood the reason behind his reaction and was pretty content with the reasoning Raghav gave and thought rubbing his chin that "What will he do when he gets to know that we have a major meeting with the Jadhav Infrastructure's today?? No..no..no..I am not gonna take any risk with our Company's future by telling Raghav about the meeting! He will either cancel it, postpone it, or the worst NOT ATTEND IT!"
After deciding not to acquire Raghav with any information regarding the meeting, Sammy gave a fake smile to Raghav.
Raghav too hesitatingly smiled back, wondering what Sammy must me thinking about him.
They entered the 'Singhania Group of Companies Headquarters' and retarded towards their specific cabins for the days work.
Jadhav Infrastructure Headquarters -
Kalpi had took her Company's own car to the office and will continue to until she settles with her own one.
As she entered the Headquarters, she was greeted respectfully by everybody.
She stepped into her cabin and sat going through different projects her Company had taken up. She was impressed with the coordination of work from India and the profit her Company was gaining all over.
After a while, Kalpi's personal assistant, Afiya entered with a coffee mug.
She greeted Kalpi and welcomed her to the office.
Kalpi smiled in response, whiling sipping in her coffee.
Afiya introduced herself and chatted a while with Kalpi before telling her that they had to leave for an important meeting.
"Ma'am, as it's your first day as the CEO of this Company in Dubai office...I forgot to tell you that we have a really important meeting lined up for today and the Business Officials would be arriving soon..."before she could complete her sentence, she say the Officials from the Singhania Group of Companies entering which even included Raghav and Sammy.
"Excuse me ma'am" she said and left Kalpi's cabin.
Kalpi pouted and took a last sip into her coffee before leaving for the meeting but to her misfortune, she spilled some coffee upon her dress. But it wasn't much, it could be easily removed with water.
Not having enough time, she rushed towards the washroom as fast as her injured foot could only to be banged into someone. She felt herself losing the grip and falling to which she shut her eyes tight. Not allowing her to touch the floor two hard yet strong arms held her up by holding onto her soft and delicate hands. He kept her swinging in the air by not having the guts to touch her waist or back to help her up. Kalpi who was still had her eyes closed felt a strong grip on her hands, but didn't knew who the man was.
"You are alright."Raghav said huskily, frightening Kalpi.
She remembered his voice and knew it was none other than the RAGHAV SINGHANIA.
"Now will you help me up or not?"Kalpi asked harshly.
Raghav bit his lower lip and without even warning her, pulled her up with all his strength making Kalpi hug Raghav.
She had her face in Raghav's chest while her one hand clutched on to his collar and the other being on his waist.
Raghav wasn't holding Kalpi at all, he was just lost at the feel of a soft, delicate and a beautiful human being against him. He didn't want to do anything stupid which would later make either of them suffer. He kept quiet while taking in her fragrance and feeling her curves against his body. He too had his eyes closed enjoying the moment fully as Kalpi being his secret crush which even Sammy didn't knew about. Only God knows how disheartened he was when he got to know that Kalpi's gonna get hitched. To get over this, he had buried himself in loads of work at the office the following month after the marriage.
He was in short crazy for her, even though he knew he had a crowd of girls going CRAZY FOR HIM. But it didn't matter to him...at all.
Kalpi opened her eyes and jumped back seeing her closeness with Raghav.
She hurried into the ladies washroom while Raghav pouted.
The meeting started enthusiastically, but someone didn't have his attention at the meeting but at something else, something beautiful, Kalpana.
Raghav kept eying Kalpi in between the meeting, unnoticed by everyone except Sammy.
Sammy passed a glance towards Raghav then at Kalpana, not able understand what's cooking between them.
Sammy ignored and rather concentrated on the ongoing meeting.
While Raghav didn't.
The meeting was over.
"So Mr. Singhania, how did you like the presentation on our collaboration with your Company?" A member of the board of directors of Jadhav Infrastructure asked.
Raghav was baffled as he didn't knew anything about the presentation and looked helpless.
Sammy understood his condition and replied on his behalf "It was amazing Mr. Garg. We liked it very much. It's just that we have some more meetings lined up for today and want to take our leave soon. It would great if we finish the paper work now."
They agreed and the contract was signed.
They had skipped the lunch which was arranged after the meeting on the pretext of some emergency work which had come up.
This time Sammy was driving the car, and kept passing some awkward stares towards Raghav, not gone unnoticed by Raghav at all.
There was silence till midway until Sammy broke the silence, "Do you feel something for her?".
Raghav who was peeping out of the window was astounded by the selection of words he had done not at all twisting it. The question was absolutely precise, the question both Raghav and Sammy wanted answers too.
Raghav gulped hard and started adjusting himself on the seat, brushing his fingers roughly on the seat belt. He didn't knew how to answer it as he was still not sure about this answer to himself, so what will he tell Sammy then?
YES or NO?
God knows... no wait a second maybe even Raghav knows?!
"The seat is quiet comfortable. Isn't it?" Sammy said to make him sit upright.
"Um..yeah! It's cool."Raghav answered and rubbed his chin in tension.
He bit his lip in hesitation this time, not to tease someone.
Which was rarely done.
"Answer me."
"N..n..n..no." Raghav completed.
"Please don't lie to yourself."Sammy tried calming him down.
He continued "Look you maybe hesitating telling me...but please don't lie to yourself. It clearly seems you feel something for her. Because the very chattering Raghav Singhania is quiet in front of her, the very attention seeker is giving attention to her, you are smiling when you are near her, you were lost in a daze when I saw you in the meeting looking at her. It's not lust Raghav, it's something more and powerful than it. Please try recognizing it. It will benefit you. I will be waiting for your reply."
Raghav heard him seriously and thought "Do I really...love her?"
Sammy interrupted his thought cycle and said "But I really want to share a piece of information with you Raghav... you might have not read the newspapers these days as you were quite busy these days. Isn't it?"
Raghav nodded.
"What is it?? Tell me."Raghav said.
Sammy gave a sad look towards him and continued...
Done! Next chappy tomorrow.. Pakka wala promise. Weekend wala promise 50% completed! Yay! Romance in next chappy.
