Box- Using and Tutorial in Brief (For Writers)

GUYS THIS IS FOR BACK UP..!!! WE NEED TO SAVE OUR FORUM...!!! ALONG WITH IT... WE CAN HAVE BACK UPS of STORIES HERE..!!! It would be easier for reader and writer to collaborate on this work..!!!!

But Keep the Forum Active and Alive..!!!! So Our homes are SAFE..!!!


Ok So here you go for Sugandha, Deepu, Barkha.. and other friends asking me about how to go about story and using box as writer...

Go on the given Link...

PM me your mail ID, I will send you an invite, accept invite and register yourself with mail ID you provided me on www.box.com

Next ... You will have RagNaStories Folders with you. Open Folder and Find your name there:



Then open the folder, and create new folder in it in this way.



Enter TITLE OF the story you wish to update...



and press Ok,
Folder will be created Open Folder...!!

Now you have few ways to move ahead. As you write chapters...
Write chapters in word document in your lappy, and then drag and drop the word document with correct chapter number, and add details like date and blah blah blah.. like you do to your threads on IF..!!

OR

Second is bit longer way, you may have to access google drive or install online microsoft on your computer browser..!!!

Open Folder... Again click on New up there..!!


Click on Microsoft Word Document...


Follow procedure mentioned here... on the page itself..

or you can create google document, which will access your google drive, if you have google ID, make sure ur gmail is logged in..😊

Give Chapter number as title:


Press Ok, and then tada it will open..!!!

Now here you TYPE your document and format it as you wish to.. 😛



As you type and and close it... it automatically gets saved..! So if you have written half and accidently laptop shuts down, whatever you have typed will remain safe..!!!

All these are called cloud technologies, like drop box, google drive... this helps in collaboration work ... and togetherness..!!!

Now you can come up with innovative ideas to use Box.com..!!
Like updating your folder of chappys as you update chapters in it... like you to thread.. by renaming the folder ... etc..!! but that's about it..!!
It can be read by all readers available... can also comment..!!

Of course you will!!!😛😛😛😛 There is mobile App for Box. Download it in phone.. It is like drop box..!! Clouds are used for the same purpose to be able to use it from several devices without any worries..!!
