"Come and meet me on the hill behind the temple." Kalpana read the message that flashed on her phone. "Who is this guy who has so much of guts to call me at this hour of night." She thought. "In 5 Mins" She was shocked to read the message and at the audacity of the person to actually order her. Finally she decided to ask who the idiot is abd texted "Who is this" and gave an emoticon which expressed anger. Instantly anessage came which shocked her further. "Its me Raghav Rathod your Kunwarji...Now in 5 mins see you @ place." His phone buzzed..."How did yiu get my no." "Lol!!! Kalpi you have a great sense of humour."She fumed in anger on reading the message but in a way he was actually right. Its not difficult for him at all to get someones number.
Munimsa was happy to hear so much praise for her daughter from Hukumsa but at tge same time his discomfort increased too. Somewhere after Raghav's return he didn't want Kalpi to meet the Royal family frequently. A fathers concern was ruling a loyalist's heart. He called someone and asked that person to come back soon.
Kalpi managed to escape from house. Even she didn't know why she is going to meef him when her father doesn't like it and wants her to stay away from him. She was helpless her heart was continously begging her to go and meet him and she gave in. She reached the decided spot where he was already waiting for her. On feeling her presence he turned and smiled at her. She couldn't help but stare at him. He was looking extremely handsome in that kurta pyjama. The first two buttons were unbuttoned making him look all the more handome.
He stared at her checking her out. Her petite form was looking beautiful in sleeveless kurta chudidaar with her hair tied loosly. She looked more beautiful without make up. His eyes after lingering on her face got fixed on her lips. He had this urge to kiss her and have her for himself forever. He was surprised at his own thinking. He knew he was attracted to her and wanted to be friends with her but this sudden emotion of kissing her and having her confused confused him. "Why am I thinking so weirdly... but then its true I wanted to be friends with her coz I am interested in her, I like her. Perhaps thats the reason why I want to kiss her and make her mine. Today the way she handled the crisis has only confirmed that she is perfect for me. I will win her heart...I'll make her mine...she has to be mine."
"Kunwarji...kunwarji...kunwarji" Her voice brought him out of his chain of thoughts. "Where were you lost!Why did you call me and how did you get my number" She fired a series of questions on him and he just smiled. His gaze had a softness for her...something which was beyond friendship. She lowered her eyes. She couldn't give in to the emotions her heart was feeling at that moment. She is attracted to him she knew it from the day he came back. He wasn't just handsome, he was more than that. But at the same time she couldn't deny with the fact that she is a common girl and he is a royal blood. Sh has to keep her feelings for him under control. His family and her Babasa would never ever approve of this relation but what this heart. It was rooting for him constantly.
He was reading her face amd could sense the nervousness growing within her. Finally giving a break to their feelings he said "Thank You." She looked up and stared at him. "For what?" He smiled...she was ignorant to the fact or is it that she didn't take it seriously. "Kalpi for today. It was really a diffucult situation. That girl just spoilt everything. If you wouldn't have come on time, Guru Dadaji would have left our home without eating anything. You know very well what importance he hold in our family. His stature everything. I was really worried about what would be the probable consequences but the air just changed when you arrived. Not only managed to stop him but also made the food according to his choice. It was just amazing. The relief thst I saw in Maasa's eyes was something I cannot express in words. Thank you for that"
"Kunwarji I consider Badimaasa as my own mother. She was tensed, worried and I could help her out in any manner I will definitely go ahead and do it whatever I can in my capacity. So don't say Thank You please." He admired her simplicity and honesty.
He took her hands in his. She was startled. "Kalpi be my friend. I want to be your friend. You talk with Nandini so well so whats wrong with me." She tried to free her hand but in vain. He wasn't ready. She understood his intentions behind asking for friendship. His action clearly stated he was interested in having more than friendship with her. She was hesitant but doesn't have a heart to say no.Somewhere even she wanted more than friendship with him.
Raghav brought her hand closer to his heart and rested it there. Raghav picked out the dhaga (Sacred thread) which Guru Dadaji had given and tied it on her wrist. "It has been given by Guru Dadaji it will protect you from the unknown danger that has trapped us both." She quickly removed her hand. He smiled weakly.
"I should leave." She turned but stopped in her tracks" I am all excited for tomorrow. We are going to city to meet govt. officials for school project so you will be with me for the entire day and guess what you don't have the option to say no and escape the visit coz you are more involved in the project than me. So be ready for tomorrow." She lowered her head and walked away.
"Kalpi you cannot run away from me for long. I know you like me just the way I like you. You are hesitant but I am not. This one day is enough for me to break the ice. I have planned everything. I won't let you go away from me. You are meant for me just me. I never believed in love at first sight but after meeting you I feel there is something called Karmic connection. What I feel for you I have not felt for anyone. This feeling is nice...when you are close to me I don't need anyone. When you leave me I feel incomplete. I don't know how its possible in such a short span but I am madly in love with you. I Love You Kalpi."
For me love at first sight means someone with whom you feel your soul is connected with not just from the time you met but way before that. And the moment you meet that person ist the soul that connects you with him/her much before than heart. Raghav and Kalpi always felt an unknown pull towards each other. Even before their hearts could realise their souls got connected with each other. Kalpi is holding herself citing the differences they have socially but Raghav he wants her in his life as soon as possible.
