"So", Pooja asked Kalpana "what are u going to wear tonight?"
Kalpana was confused by her question and said very innocently"Do u wear something else apart from night suits in night" Pooja who was drinking water almost got choked listening to her answer. She coughed a bit and then laughed at her. All this while Kalpana was just trying to read her expressions. She was wondering why Pooja is laughing so much. She didnt crack a joke. Pooja stopped laughing seeing those confused expressions that Kalpi was giving and said "Kalpana every month on the first Saturday theres an office party. Its the culture of Singhania Industries." Now Kalpana realised d reason behind Pooja's reaction and felt embarrased on giving such a stupid answer. "Kalpana today its your first day and I think you should attend this party, it will help u know your colleagues better." Kalpana refused to come she was not feeling comfortable. "Pooja" said Kalpana " Its just my first day I dont really wish to attend the party, U know few of the girls in the office are behaving coldly with me. Reason I don't know but I feel somewhere they are not happy with me." Kalpana was sad by their behaviour she really couldnt figure out the reason behind the same. Pooja was surprised to know that Kalpana doesnt know about her achievement. She said " Kalpana they r envy of u for the achievement u have made" Kalpana wondered what sort of achievement when I havent started doing work. But she chose to remain quiet. Pooja insisted Kalpana on coming to party and said "May be you will get to know why they r envy of u or may be u get a hint for the same and I assume u r smart enough to take the hints and make 2 and 2 4. Kalpana was eager know about her achievemet, she knew that Pooja knows it but will not reveal to her otherwise she would have done it till now. She nooded in yes for the Party.
The day passed by without any more unfateful events. Kalpana reached her home. She relaxed for a while and thanked God for not creating History. Raghav had not sacked her and he didn't even call her to have a word on the lift incident. Kalpana thought may be Raghav has realised that her intentions were not wrong and closed the subject there itself. She went to hear wardrobe and started her search mission. She was not use to in going for parties and has never attended any office party. This was her first time and he had no idea of what to wear for such parties. Kalpana at first thought of wearing something western but eneded up choosing a saree that her warden has gifter her when she scored well in her college.
It was not exactly a party wear but at the same time it was not dull for the occasion. It was light pink saree, a color she likes a lot, with silver border. It really looked nice on her, she first wore it when she had gone out with her warden and dhaval to celebrate her success. Convinced with her choice she started getting ready for the party.
On the other hand Party was something which Raghav never liked.But he continued to carry on the legacy, he had decided to continue all the traditions that his father has started in his company. He wanted the world to remember his Company the way his father had left.
