Raghav got ready for the party and left for the venue. His mood was off reason another borrring party and for this he cant even say no, at the end he has thrown the party & has to be present over there all the time. While driving his focus shifted from road to his thoughts.My schedule will get disturbed and again I will get up with bad temper. I fail to understand why Dad started this party tradition, now I have to continue it and I can't even express how much I dislike it. Just when he came out of his thoughts he realised he was about to hit the car, with all force he applied breaks to stop the car.
After few moments Raghav opened his eyes...he looked at himself and felt relieved he was all well. God!!! That was close is all he managed to say after the near escape from death. Raghav composed himself and said "Focus Raghav or else you will end up in hospital instead of party"
Slowly he started his journey again this time concentrating only on road.
At hall everybody had reached apart from Kalpana. Pooja had somehow managed to explain the route from her home to venue but still was lil worried since Kalpana was new. Raghav was standing besides d bar and was enjoying more with the glass and less with the drink in it. He remembered the afternoon incident and the personal detail file of Kalpana.
After leaving cafeteria Raghav came to his cabin. He ordered the HR department to give him Kalpana's file. While his heart has already accepted what Kalpana said but his Ego was not allowing him to believe her so easily. He reviewed her file closely,the girl was right he said to himself. She has no one, she is all alone. He regretted his actions but soon Ego over powered him. He thought of settling the score but now in a fair way. He won't let her go away so easily. Raghav said to himself "Though now my opinion has changed for her, but she did insult me and for that I will make her apologise" Raghav was moving his fingers on the glass when suddenly he saw a slender figure coming inside. He was not the only one looking at her. She was drawing attention of everyone as she was the only girl wearing saree. She was odd one out but the grace and confidence with which she was carrying the saree made her stand apart from the crowd. She was holding a small clutch. She had done a light make up which was enhancing her dusky skin and was making her look all the way more beautiful. Kalpana was defining the meaning of beauty in simplicity. The girls were definitely feeling jealous coz she alone had manage to catch the attention of all the male colleagues.
Pooja came running towards Kalpana and hugged her tightly. She was worried for her and that was evident from her face. "Kalpana, where were you? Party timings were from 9 and its already 10:30" Kalpana looked at her and says, "Calm down Pooja. I got stuck in traffic. At first I thought of going back home but then I wanted to know my so called achievement so here I am and I am extremely for not calling you".
Pooja introduced Kalpana to everyone. They all welcomed her except those few girls. Soon the two girls started enjoying party with all others. Raghav and Sammy were standing at the bar and were having drinks. "She is beautiful, infact beauty with brains" Sammy said to Raghav who was quiet busy in staring at Kalpana. Suddenly a voice came from behind "She is indeed beautiful after all she has managed to get Raghav Singhania's attention" Raghav realised he has been staring Kalpana since the time she has entered the hall. He turned around and said "It seems somebody is loosing interest in you" while pointing at Sammy. The girl was Priya, Sammy's girlfriend and to a certain extend friend of Raghav as well. Priya laughed at him and said "Raghav!!! it was you who was staring at her all the while, it seems you are interested in her" Raghav was taken aback and said"Nothing interests me apart from my business and she is just an employee." Priya sensed Raghav's disconfort and closed the topic.
The party was moving in its full swing. Al most all the staff was on dance floor except Raghav, Kalpana and Pooja. Sammy and Priya were enjoying each others company. A soft no was playing and all were busy in dancing. Kalpana who until now at the back of her mind was still searching the answer to her question decided to confront Pooja. "Pooja,listen I know that you know what sort of achievement I have made kindly tell me what is it. From afternoon onwards I have been thinking about it and now I cannot resist myself from asking you. Please tell what is it." Pooja smiled at her and said "Kalpana you shared the elevator with Raghav Sir on your fist day of joining and he didn't scold you for that. This is an achievement, one of it own kind." Kalpana grimaced when she heard what Pooja said. From afternoon onwards she had been curious to know what is it and here it was..."These girls are nuts!!! I mean is this the reason why they are behaving oddly with me???". Pooja nooded and Kalpana started laughing as if what Pooja said was a big joke. "These girls are really immature I mean just coz I shared elevator with the owner of Company I made an achievement. Seriously is this how they define achievements??? God!!! I really wasted my time". Pooja was amused seeing Kalpana taking this so casually. For a moment she thought Does she know what stature Raghav Singhania holds in society and corporate world!!!
