Due to the Rat fiasco the office workings were closed for two hrs to clean up the mess. While the cafeteria of the floor where Singhania's office resided was full so Pooja took Kalpana to Sammy's office cafeteria. Pooja found Kalpana very sweet and humble girl with no pretentions, while Kalpana felt Pooja a very homely girl. They started bonding well. After placing their order for coffee they took their seats which was to the extreme corner. Both were still giggling on the incident that took place few minutes before.
They were so much involved in their conversation that they didn't notice Raghav and Sammy's entry in cafetria. Sammy was feeling a lil hungry as he skipped his breakfast for meeting and hence insisted Raghav to have coffee with him in cafeteria so that he can have something for himself. Their table was not far away from the table where both the girls were sitting. Raghav also didnt know that the two were sitting in this cafeteria. He was too angry to notice his surroundings. The events that took place were disturbing him. Never in his career he has to stop his work for something so silly and ridiculous. The thought of Kalpana was also not leaving his mind. He knew something was fishy,the rats cannot come on their own as it had never happened before but to point at someone was not easy and to have discussion on such a topic and to go deep down the roots to know the culprit was something below his standards and his company's standards too. But he needs to find out for somewhere he felt may be this is how he can get back to Kalpana.
Errr...Raghav says to himself whats wrong with me why am I just thinking of that girl after the lift incident. She isnt so important that I should invest my time in her but then his Ego countered...though the girl is not important but the insult she had thrown on u is and for that matter u should find a way to settle the scores. He came out of his thoughts when he heard a voice, the one which he now can recognize in his sleep too.
Kalpana u r way too funny Pooja said when Kalpana was imitating those girls who were now a laughing stock for all of them. Kalpana was laughing throughout while immitating them. The whole scene replaying before his eyes. She was completely unaware her laughter was increasing his anger, was piercing his Ego. Pooja asked in a geuine tone "Kalpana, Didnt u get scared of those rats?One of them just came by your side and instead of shouting and jumping like monkey u easily gave him way... It seems you r very strong." Kalpana who was now laughing on the incident said in a calm yet serious tone, "For a girl who has lived her life all alone there are many other big things to get scared off, I didnt have the liberty of getting scared from these small creatures". Pooja felt bad for Kalpana. She thought I should have thought twice before saying this. She kept her hand on Kalpana's hand,"Sorry, Kalpana my intention was not to hurt you its just that you were so near to the incident place yet you were standing there without making any scene that's y I was curious to know about it". Kalpana smiled at her and said in a cheerful tone its okay and that she didnt feel bad. Its the truth of her life and you dont have to make that sad face. No one is blessed with all the privileges of life, some have to earn it like I earned few moments before your friendship. Pooja smiled at her and admired her strength. She said in the same tone "me too and I am Happy I have friend like you."
Unknown to them Raghav and Sammy heard the entire conversation. While Sammy was really impressed with Kalpana and appreciated her zest to live every moment of her life with a smile on face and also admired her courage to live it all alone. Raghav who few minutes before was burning in anger was feeling frustrated. Without uttering a word he left from there. Raghav was pacing in his cabin. Words of Kalpana were echoing in his ears. The more he thought of her the more he felt ashamed of himself. He couldnt believe that his Ego made him think so low and that he wanted to take revenge on a girl. When he remembered her words he realised that His life is so much similar to that of Kalpana, his was a little better since he had Sammy and his father. He did get the affection and love of his parents though it was for a short time period but he did know the meaning of parental love but Kalpana the girls has spent her life all alone. Yet she knows how to laugh, enjoy and most importantly live her life. So right was she No one is blessed with all the privileges, one has to earn them. Seeing her strength and love for life was making him feel more ashamed of himself. For that one moment Raghav Singhania did regret his actions, his thinking, but not for long.
