Entwined to Eternity;Update on page 74 (3rd Dec) - Page 4

A Man is sitting on the rock beside a lake staring at photo of two kids holding hands... He is lost in past when thunders of clouds brings him back to the reality.. He puts photo back in his pocket and runs towards the main road to reach home.. While he was crossing the road he sees a girl playing with few kids.. She was wearing an orange top with dark red skirt.. He stands there as if he was spell bound by the charm of the girl.. Though he was not able to look at her face due to darkness of night but the way she was jumping with kids attracted him.. It wasn't so dark that he can't see his actions but dark enough to not let him see her sharp features...suddenly lightning ignites the dark sky like a strobe.. and falls on the girl.. It has given him opportunity to look at her wavy hairs covering her face and wet clothes showing her perfectly curved body.. While jumping her top moves up and he notices a tattoo just above her waist..The tattoo was of a fairy spreading stars with her magic wand.. It's dark again and the mother of kids comes to take them inside.. The girl holds her ears in front of the lady.. Lady whacks her head lovingly and she waves good bye to the kids.. She starts her scooty and goes ahead leaving the man on the road..

Suddenly man feels a heavy hand on his back and turns around only to find his friend Sammy stroking him to pull him back from the spell.. Sammy smiles, "Romi.. where r u dude.. dad is asking about u from a long time.. He has some work with u..". Romi replies, "Nothing let's go.. I do not like to make baba wait for long."

Romi's baba n Sammy's dad is not a simple man but the don of the city.. "John Fernandes" and Sammy his son whom Romi met 18 years ago.. He still remembers the day when Sammy was fighting with few street boys and they were overpowering him when Romi intervened and beat all of them black and blue.. Sammy took Romi to his father and introduced him as Sammy's friend.. From that day Romi became his son and the don became his baba. His loyalties are always towards baba and he is baba's right hand.. Romi is not a roadside romeo but a sharp shooter with a killer looks.. his stubble supports him in giving a rowdy look but the charm in his eyes can make any girl go mad for him.. But he is not interested in anyone as he doesn't believe in emotions.. he is well aware that Sammy is with him just coz of his power but deep inside Sammy is scared that Romi can take his father's position which is rightfully sammy's. Despite knowing Sammy's intentions he is with Sammy coz he was the one who helped him when he dint had food to eat.

With all this thoughts in his mind they reach John's place which looks like a garrage but a secret place for dealing with assassins and their target.. john is sitting their wearing a white suit and white shoes.. His white french beard doesn't go with black dyed hair but no one is bold enough to tell him that.. With few fats on her body he doesn't look like a goon but a businessman and that's what he do.. A white collared goon. Romi touches his feet but John holds him and hugs instead saying "How many time I have to tell u that u r my baccha... Just like Sammy is." Sammy makes weird face on hearing it but gives a fake smile to his father.. John tells Raghav that he has taken a new contract and it's not simple killing but we have to take out some information from the girl.. Romi gives a confused look whem John explains.. "Take this photo.. This is Rachana yadav.. A reporter!! She has some information about the drug racket of the city.. Now they want to kill her but before that they want to know how much information she has and who else is involve in her research.. And I have selected u for this purpose.."

Sammy intervenes.. "But why not me dad..". John silences him with a finger and says.. "Romi is the chosen one.. He has to do this for me.. Tell me baccha.. will u do it for me..". Romi nods in agreement.. and looks at the pic and leaves from there..

Sammy who was hurt on seeing John's trust on Romi looks at his dad with questioning eyes. John understands and replies, "U r my heir.. U have to sit on my throne and for that u need to learn to make others work for u.. Raghav is our best man and do not let him go from ur hands.. Rule over him with love.. Make him do all the work and u just enjoy the throne. " Sammy understands and feels proud on his dad's thinking.

Raghav reaches his home which is smaller than a hostel room.. it has one iron bed.. few clothes and a pitcher for water.. A small mirror is hanged on the wall and a comb with coconut oil was placed at the window.. He has earned a lot for John but took a very small amount for himself saying he will take his share whenever he will need it. Raghav slumps on his bed staring at the girl in the photo.. She has the wavy hairs with bangs on the front.. Her big eyes were filled with Kajal and has the power to hold the viewer's gaze.. Her dusky color is advantage to her killer smile..

Raghav(to himself) : why does anyone want to kill such beautiful girl.. The smile itself is enough to kill any man and her eyes.. it doesn't go with her smile.. It looks like she has hid lots of sadness in it.. Anyways.. what I have to do with her.. Her days are over.. She is my target and I am an assassin coming to kill her. Have a pleasant stay in heaven.

He wonders why he said heaven as he believes no one in this world is good enough to reach heaven and he always says that his target will rot in hell but he guess the angelic beauty of this girl made him say heaven coz the innocent eyes proves her purity and she must rest in heaven. He keeps the photo below his pillow to avoid getting lost in the girl.
