When I was going thru the comments I realised that this ss has attracted a complete different set of ppl i.e. from my other ff. Hope to entertain Ull too ! Glad to know that I've a writing which can suit ppl of both the genres. Looking forward to a nice response from the newly discovered readers(atleast for me) of this ss.

R : Usme kya batana ? I got married ...so ?

S : Who is she , the girl who managed to make place in Raghav Singhaniya's heart ?

R : Sammy this is work time ... U ask 1 more question abt Kalpana & I shall...

S : Ooo...so bhabhi's name is Kalpana ? I want to meet her Raghav. I'm coming home for dinner tonight. Tell bhabhi to cook some super awesome Punjabi food.

R : U r not coming anywhere & btw she's a Maharashtraian...so she might not be knowing to cook Punjabi food.

S : Are u trying to drive me off ?

R : Yes I am !

After sometime Raghav received a call from Paakhi.

P : Bhai ... What am I listening ? U refused Sammy for dinner, already u didn't call him for ur wedding coz he was out for work. I don't know anything ...today me, Sammy ,Maya & mom are coming for dinner & I have already informed Kalpana Di abt it.

R : What ??

R POV : But according to our deal neither of us will do each other's work. The girl's literally gonna eat me raw now! I hope she has behaved well with Paakhi.

R : Er...umm ...so what did she say ?

P : Nothing ...she agreed readily ! Aakhir bhaabhi kiski hai ?

Saying so she hung up the call. Just then Sammy entered with a victorious glee on his face

S : U weren't inviting me so I invited myself ! I have my own ways Mr. Raghav Singhaniya.

R POV : Sammy u r so very dead now. But tere se pehle I'm dead.

He picked up his phone & dialled Kalpana's no. Only to hear her voicemail advicing to drop a message.

His work was being continuously interrupted by Sammy's silly questions, but he was too dear to him to say somethin to him. He kept on bearing his stupid questions, but 1 question in particular caught his attention.

S: (after a range of various qs) Doesn't it feel great to have her in ur arms when u get back home ? The homely feeling u see ! Atleast in my case, I love it when Maya welcomes me home with her smile & sometimes when she is happy for some reason her childish hug & then kindda dancing in my arms is the best. Makes me feel & wish that she remains happy always.

Raghav cudnt help, but his brain automatically imagined himself in that scene with Kalpana.The night b4 had slightly changed their equation. The very next moment he managed to brush those thoughts away

R : Sammy I own an IT company & not some marriage bureau .. So it'll be better if u start working !

S : Kk ... I'm leaving. Vaise bhi aaj shaam ko toh Milna hai hi. Tab baat kar lenge.

It was 9 in the night when Raghav came home after a tiring day at office. He wasn't that tired by work , but more by the thought of what might happen at dinner. He hoped that Sammy doesn't recognise the secret behind their marriage. He knew Sammy & his capabilities too well, & thus was scared of him knowing the truth.

Raghav unlocked the door as he entered

He saw his mother, Paakhi ,Sammy & Maya having a gala time at the dining table. But the thing that happened to him next surprised him. From nowhere Kalpana appeared in front of him when he was busy looking at the happy family dinner. She spread her arms to hug Raghav. Raghav who wasn't prepared for this stood there like a statue for some seconds.

K : Oh darling I'm so glad that u came. How was ur day ?

Then withdrawing herself from the hug, her arms yet round his neck as she continued jumping & hopping like an excited kid.

K : I have made ur fav food today Raghav ! Hope u like it.

This was somethin so very close to his imagination. Then again hugging him slightly i.e. when she heard raghav questioning her in a low tone

R : Have u hit ur head somewhere ?

K : (whispering)I haven't , but have u ? Respond god damn it ...don't stand like this. Let them feel that this happens daily in the house. & we are living happily.

Now things fell in place for Raghav . So that was all a part of their act. He realised that it was his turn to respond when he saw his family & friends lookin at him with whammy eyes. He had to continue with Kalpana's act so that everything seemed fine & natural.

& there he started off...
