Raghav squinched a bit trying to adjust to the room's light.. the sudden brightness added to the throbbing pain in his head wasn't helping much but the distraction in all of this was the continuosly warm air along with some weight on his chest..
Finally adjusting to the room lights he woke up to see what he doubted whether was dream or reality.. Raghav raised his head to look at Kalpi who was sleeping in a very uncomfortable position .. Raghav's head was on her lap while her head rested on his chest.. The light coming from the window was disturbing her too as Kalpi moved a bit..
Raghav got up carefully so as to not wake Kalpi up and moved the curtain bringing a small smile on Kalpi's face.. with a smile lingering on his face too he went near her.. Bending down he carefully made Kalpi sleep comfortably and then covered her properly with a quilt..
Raghav walked over to his wardrobe and removed a white shirt somewhat similar to what he wore yesterday and the events flashed in front of his eyes and his hand moved to touch his right cheek trying to feel the same warmth like yesterday night.. he was wearing his shirt when Kalpi's phone rang .. He immediately walked over to the side table to pick up but before that Kalpi got up and picked up her phone..
"Ha.. hi dada.. You came back.. when?? .. I mean wow... I'll reach home in some time..", Kalpi ended the call and looked at Raghav..
"I'll drop you..", he said before making his way out ..After closing the door on exiting the room Raghav looked back and thought," You showed me that you do have feelings for me .. now I'll help you name them.."

"Explain..", Pakya said ever so sternly looking at Kalpi who stood near the door watching her brother standing near the couch looking at her for answers probably for what he saw ..
Flashback
Kalpi and Raghav reached and Kalpi exited the car.. She was just walking inside her building when Raghav held her hand..
"Kalpi..", she tried hard not to look back but then finally turned to look at him.. "Thanks for being their yesterday.. ", he pulled her little ,"And for caring for me.", he pulled a little more close..." and for the preparations you had done for the party..", he again pulled her a little.. "And for what you did at the madir.. ", Kalpi looked at him in surprise..
"Mom had messaged me when I was waiting in the car..", Kalpi was about to give some explanation but Raghav stopped her..
"For staying with me yesterday you can say that you dd it out of duty.. for preparations you did to make my b'day special you can say that you did it for your best friend paakhi but what about that thing you did at mandir.. why did you burn your hand for me..".. and to Kalpi's good cum bad luck she heard Pakya who stood at a distance from the gate call out to her..
And now was a question answer session and the only problem with it was there were too many questions and very few or rather no answers...
"Kalpi..", Pakya snapped her out of her thoughts.. "I am asking you something..".. Kalpi gulped on sensing the seriousness in her brother's voice.. Pakya had always been a protective caring brother but never had he shown his 'hitler'ish side..
"Dada I can explain..", Kalpi finaaly managed to speak..
"I'm waiting", Pakya said crossing his arms in front of his chest..
She did say that she can explain but what will she explain?? What can she say?? that Raghav probably likes her?? That she is in love with that person whom they jave been planning to destroy??
"Dada..", Kalpi started and Pakya focused on her .. Now tgere was no running away Kalpi knew that today she would have to gell Pakya.. but not everything..
"Actually.. Aatya.. I mean.. Gauri ma.. she is Gauri Singhaania..", and with thos she told Pakya everything with some clever editing of course.. She explained how Raghav and Gauri met and what all happened after that.. how she helped Raghav in planning revenge against Sahil and as she needed a reason for returning back home with Raghav she also told Pakya about how Raghav got injured while trying to protect her..
The least she expected was some softened expression but there was no change in Pakya's demeanor.. "And in the morning I had to go there to Gauri ma's house as she wanted to meet me..", she lied but not successfully.. Before the questionnaire could continue Pakya got a call from his office and he had to leave in some time..
He was walking to his room and Kalpi sighed but he came back and stood before Kalpi again.. Placing his hand on her head he said," Kalpi .. I never forced anything on you but can you do one thing for your dada?? ... Hmmm...??", Kalpi nodded in agreement and Pakya said," Stay away from Raghav... I don't want to see him anywhere near you.. I've already lost baba and I don't want to lose you.. Promise me you'll stay away from him??", Kalpi's heart sank with Pakya words..
Promise to stay away from Raghav?? When she wanted to... she couldn't and now when she can .. she didn't want it to happen but there was no way out.. "Kalpi.. Promise??", Pakya asked moving his palm forward.. "Just a few days Dada.. till we put Mr.Kapoor in jail.. Please..", Kalpi said trying very hard to not show her feelings to her brother.. Pakya nodded and left..
Entering his room he walked over to his study table and opened the drawer.. it had the abacus and pen that Raghav had given to little Kalpi.. Kalpi jad insisted those belongings to stay with Pakya as she didn't want any emotion except hatred for Raghav..
Kalpi looked at her brother standing with the pen remembering that day..
Flashback
Kamla was as usual at the Kapoor's house while Kalpi and Pakya were at home... It was holiday... Pakya was done with his studies and so decided to check on his little sister.. A 10-year old Kalpi was staring at a pen in her hand..
"Arey Kalpi why are you staring at that pen??,Pakya asked as he sat beside her...
Kalpi-"Dada my new friend gave me this pen... I wasn't getting a maths problem and he helped me solve it... When I solved the next one he gave me this as reward for solving it.."
Pakya-"let me also know about this new friend of yours..what's his name??"
Kalpi- Raghav ,he is Sahil seth's adopted son.. he only had given me that abacus..
That name made Pakya's blood boil... He took the pen and getting up he threw the pen towards the wall..."DADA",Kalpi yelled as she too got up... "Tomorrow onwards you're not going at Kapoors house and stay away from that Raghav..",Pakya shouted at her and went to the terrace... Not understanding the reason behind her brother's sudden outburst she followed him...
Pakya was sitting on the terrace floor with his knees folded in support for his hands and head placed in between...Kalpi walked towards him and knelt down on her knees ... lifting her brother's head she asked,"What happened dada?? Please dada tell me.. please dada..."..Thinking that she deserves to know the truth Pakya took her hand and they went back home...
"This is the reason",Pakya said while showing a brown envelope to Kalpi... That was a xerox of some document ."This piece of paper is the reason why our baba died Kalpu... Your friend Raghav said things which made baba leave us forever...If Raghav wouldn't have lied then baba would've been alive..",Pakya said as he cried badly...
With time Kalpi slowly understood what her family was going through because of Raghav's lie and later she and pakya decided that they would take revenge... from Sahil Kapoor as he had called Vitthal at the place that day thus trapping him in this murder ( Vithal had said that during court proceedings so Pakya knew) and Raghav for falsely accusing Vitthal..
And now with all these Kalpi was torn between her once-upon-a-time goal and the feeling called love.. As a child she had agreed to what her brother ordered but now she had no idea what she should do...
Pakya looked back at Kalpi who was now walking to her room.. Picking up his father's photo frame he said," Baba I just hope Kalpi is not hiding anything from me.. I don't want to force her or see her hurt but I can't even forgive 'him'..".. Pakya somewhere knew that his sister was getting in a very entangled web of emotions but he could not help her as a brother because of his duty as a son..
