Hello Everyone!
Happy Summer! Lol. So I guess it has been a while? Well it's finally summer vacation for me and I decided to check in with EMA after a very long while. I just went to the most recent episodes since I didn't want to go watch all of the injustice done to this show. And as luck would have it, I stumbled upon the episode where Raghav was in the hospital due to some accident and Kalpi was by his side. And it really made me think. What has really changed from the last time I saw it?
Let me answer that for you - nothing. Nothing has changed much from my perspective. So guys, to elaborate a little more on this, let me explain.
The last episode that I actually sat and enjoyed of EMA was the engagement episode. That was also the last episode on which I made avis on them in them. After that, I got news about Raghav getting married to Pakhi and I just lost interest and got back to my studies (which were in much need of focus away from EMA).
BUT, when I did come back to the show (after a very long time), I realized how stagnant it was. It was still the same. The circumstances may have been different but they were all still playing the same roles. I saw Raghav still only having eyes for Kalpi and not willing to let her go regardless of whatever the world had to say, regardless of the world deigning it inappropriate. I saw Raghav still holding onto Kalpi even when it could've been risky for Kalpi herself. I saw Kalpi willing to let him go and even going so far as removing his hand. On the other hand, I also saw Kalpi willing to give a lot up just to make sure he was alright. She was still willing to do anything to make sure he was alright. Whereas she was willing to let him go, his wound gave her pain.
The scene above was so evident of that and spoke in so much words about Raghav not being able to let her go, even subconsciously. She was all that mattered. He kept on calling out to her and he knew when she was near - 'Nuff Said!
I also saw Pakhi craving something that could not be hers. It's so similar isn't it? At that time, RagNa were in love but Pakhi kept on misinterpreting his gestures. And even now she has completely adopted the role of wife. Let me explain what I mean. At the end of last week, I saw till the episode in which she cuts Kalpi's call even when she knew that Raghav really wanted to talk to Kalpi. She has started walking down a very dangerous path. It's the path of obsession, a childish zidd. It can only bring destruction, not only to herself but also to the one person she claims to love. She has come to the point where she wants to win Raghav over in this one year without realizing that she should instead become his friend and walk away. My only hope is that Kamla's 'sanskaar' bring some sense into her later on in this track and she doesn't completely turn negative and decide to walk away instead. Too much optimism from the CVs? Definitely possible 😆
Oh and let's not forget our lovely Kamla Maiyya! She has by far astounded me so much. I never thought I would see a mother like that but I think she should definitely get the Sauteli Ma of the Year award because she has acted nothing less of that towards Kalpi. She has told her time and time again that Raghav doesn't belong to her and made Pakhi believe a delusion. When Pakhi turns into a fully-powered Vamp, it will all be Kamla Ma's fault and I just really really hope that she gets a tight slap from her bappa! This women really deserves it. Sorry, no sympathies for her, from me.
So ahem ahem. I am guessing that Vitthal and her brother are more or less the same as well? I know for sure that the Kapoors will never change so I don't need to elaborate on that.
Phew! I came after a while and thought to do a quick post on my two favorites. I personally don't know about CVs and actor's twitter issues since I am not much on twitter. But I am guessing that the CVs finally realized that they need to listen the fans. My only hope is that it does get re-enforced and we can get some sensible storyline because I seriously hate whatever happened after the engagement. Do I want Pakhi to turn negative? No. I want her to back out and fall in love with someone else instead. I so hope that CVs don't disappoint this time again.
At least now my summer won't be EMA free completely. Can't believe I am saying this but I am excited for upcoming track a bit because I sense a little hope for RagNa in me left. Would love to know your views on this folks! Do share =)
