Chapter 7
The scene starts with Kamla on the phone with paki.
Scene 1
"Are you sure paki?" she asked
"Yes Kamla."
"I will be there in 10minute." She says grabbing her bag
Meanwhile paki was happy. She thought maybe Kamla can convince kalpi and take her home. She walks to the living room to see Raghav putting his shoe on to go to work. Gauri, kalpi and paki notice his tie was fixed the wrong way. Gauri saw paki about to move and asks kalpi to fix it for him. Kalpi being the closest to Raghav walks up to him and taps his shoulder.
Raghav looks at her confuse for a second until she points to his tie. He was going to do it when kalpi grabs it, pulling him closer. They almost look like they were about to kiss. While kalpi fix his tie, Raghav continues to stare at her.
Gauri looking at them smiles. Then her smile turned to a frown. I'm so sorry kalpi for what I did. Because of me Raghav ended up with paki. I know right now you're both hurting, but I hope you both can forgive me later on.
Paki not liking this decides to do something about it. She walks up to Raghav and kisses his cheek "good luck at work." She says then looks at kalpi, smiling she walks away feeling happy.
Kalpi was hurt seeing another girl kiss Raghav. She quietly turns around about to leave when Raghav grabs her hand. "Don't be sad, kalpana. There is nothing special about that kiss. The only kiss I would accept is yours. "He says whispers something in her ears, making her blush.
"I can't Raghav, your mom is watching and also to them we're not married so I can't do stuff like that." She whispers
"Fine." He says
Scene 2
Kamla reaches the house and rings the doorbell, making everyone look towards the door. The servant opens the door and Kamla walks in. she saw Raghav and kalpi next to each other and saw paki watching them. Furious, she walks toward kalpi and slaps her. Everyone was shock.
"Ai?" she says while holding her cheek
"How could you?" she says
"I don't understand Ai, what did I do wrong?"
"Why are you in Raghav house are you forgetting his married?" She says
"Kamla you got it all wrong." Says gauri
"Enough! You don't understand what your son, put kalpi thru." She says
" what he did was all for my sake. You shouldn't blame him for it." She says
"For your sake?" Kamla laughs
"He ruined two of my daughters life, especially paki, for a sin her parents committed.
You guys are no different from her parents. In fact you guys are worse." She says earning a slap from gauri.
"Enough Kamla! You have wasted my patent. You said what we did was a sin, but you letting criminals stay in your house is a bigger sin." She says
She waited for Kamla to say something, but when she didn't she continued.
"Are you forgetting the fact that you yourself hand me over to them" She says shocking Raghav and kalpi
"When they gave me medicine to take, weren't you the one that told me to take it. Not knowing that the medicine makes me lose my memories. I even told you I'm not feeling well and I don't trust Neetu but you didn't listen." She says
"Neetu is a nice person." She says
"If she is a nice person then I must be Shiva. You talk about sin but you helped make them torcher me." She says
Kamla stumbled back; she just couldn't listen to anymore of gauri lies. Looking at kalpi, she grabs her hand and pulls her.
"Come on we're going home. Maybe you can beg your father for forgiveness." She says
"I'm not going Ai." She says
"Are you crazy kalpi?"
"No Ai, you know that papa don't want me back. That's why he kicked me out." She said standing her ground. Kamla not liking this pulled her to the door, but was stopped by Raghav.
"Kamla she's not leaving." He says in a serious voice
"Yes she is Raghav; you have no say in it."
"Yes I do."
"Raghav remove your hands from her or I'll." She says
"You'll what Kamla" says gauri coming to them
"I will slap him."
"You will never touch my son; I know I made a mistake by letting him marry paki." She says making paki sad "but now I will fix this. Marrying someone out of love is not right."
"And how will you do this?"
"By letting Raghav marry kalpi." She says shocking everyone
Scene 3
Vitthal came home to find Kamla missing. He searches around the house, calling her name. Neetu walks in, and he asked her if she's seen Kamla.
"Nope, haven't seen her." She says vitthal was about to walk away when Neetu said something else.
"Do you think she went to find kalpi, after all she's over Raghav house." she says smirking.
Vitthal looked mad. He walks away from Neetu, while thinking Kamla has disobeyed me. I will show her that I'm serious. Just when he was about to leave kalpi picture falls down right on his foot. He picked it up and saw kalpi and him smiling. Vitthal soften a little when he saw how happy they were. He traces his hand on kalpi face and a tear falls down. He quickly wipes it and stands up. Then he heads to the temple.
Neetu saw the whole thing. She shook her head.
"At this rate he will go back to the way he was. I can't let that happened." She says
Scene 4
Paki looks at gauri and says "you can't do this, I'm his wife. Not kalpi."
"You're wrong, you are not his wife. The one he loves is his wife." She says not knowing that what she just said was true.
"Paki is right. I will not allow kalpi to marry a married man." She says
"You have no say in what I do Kamla." She says
"Leave this place before I really get mad." She says grabbing her hand and pulling her to the door. As soon as she was out gauri slam the door in her face.
She looks at kalpi and Raghav and says "I'm serious on what I said. You two will get married. I already called the priest. He will come tomorrow." She says before going to her room leaving the three of them alone.
Paki turned around crying then she runs in her room, Leaving kalpi, and Raghav to stare at each other. They were both speechless but at the same time happy. But they new this isn't right. Raghav breaking the awkwardness decides to leave for work, while kalpi decides to rest in the guest room.
Scene 5
Raghav walks in his office, he sat down and relaxes. He thought about what his mom said he was happy about the idea but he didn't know if kalpi would accept. After all she did look like she would decline. Raghav was busy thinking about his marriage when Sammy walks in.
"You ok Raghav?"
"No, things are getting more complicated." He says
"How?"
"Well kalpi is staying with us and now my mom wants me to marry kalpi so I can be happy."
"Does she know that you're already married to her?" he asked while fixing his papers
"No, but if we do it for real, we wont have to hide it." He says
"Your right, how does paki feel about this?" He asked
"She's sad, that's the other problem."
"What do you mean?" Said Sammy
"I ruined her life. I guess the only solution here is to divorce her." he says plainly than he adds "I want to do a real marriage ceremony with kalpi when I'm a free man." He says
"But you are a free man."
"Yes I am but it will take a while for the contract to process."
"How do you think they will feel, especially Kamla when she finds out the real truth behind your marriage to paki?"
Raghav turns around and then stretch. He looks at Sammy smiling "she will be in pain, and will regret what she has done." He said
"I never knew you were evil Raghav." Sammy says while smiling
"Well, when someone destroys your childhood, it makes your heart turn to cold."
Scene 6
Kamla walks home feeling overwhelm, what gauri said really got to her. Did I really help make gauri life a living hell? No I couldn't have, after all I tried to save her. She doesn't see the big picture. She thought, when she entered her house the light was off.
"Is vitthal sleeping?" she says, just when she was about to put the light on, a hand stops her. Kamla was scared, she turned around and screams. The hand that stopped her earlier covers her mouth. Panicking, Kamla bites the arm earning a scream and the lights coming on
