I will write up an update, and get to the library within a few days to type it. Thanks for remembering this story, I thought you all might have forgotten, since it's been long.

Also, now I'm gonna gradually go away from all this 'revenge' and start focusing on RagNa. :)

Part 19

Back to "Normal"

"Shut the-"

"Maya," Kalpi said quietly.

"How can you say this?" Maya asked Raghav, stubbornly.

"She's our friend and we're taking her back," Tani told him.

"Only," Raghav said, amusedly. "You're forgetting she's my employee."

"You know what Raghav?" Paakhi said. "Kalpi will never stay happy if she works for you."

"Oh?" Raghav said. "Is she not already happy enough with her schemes?"

"And besides, it seems that Kalpi has joined the company willingly."

"To take revenge from you," Kalpi muttered.

Everyone looked up in surprise.

Kalpana shuffled closer to them.

"yes," she told them all. "I also took that file, because Raghav would've benefited from it." She took a deep breath and continued, "I also brought your Uncle Raj back, Raghav, as you'd know.."

"What could I have done? I was wrongly accused. Apart from that, you've insulted me numerous times."

"What I have done is not half as bad as what you have done to me. Still, I feel I have done enough."

"How come you changed so much?" Raghav asked, sounding curious.

"Tani talked to me. My life seems to have lost it's purpose. I am wasting my time in revenge."

"Puncturing your car tire was foolish," Kalpi admitted.

"Anyway," Kalpana said chuckling. "We all know that. To get to the point.."

Kalpi held out her hand in Raghav's direction. He hesitated before he took it.

Kalpi flipped his hand over and placed an envelope on his palm.

"Sana and I prepared a resignation letter, do accept it."

Kalpi scooted away and Tani began talking.

"We're shifting our business elsewhere," Tani told him.

"We all could use some change," Maya scoffed. "All this has left a bad taste in my mouth!"

Tani stomped on Maya's foot before continuing. "So Mr. Raghav..." Tani said, seeming at a loss of words for the first time in her life. She held her hand out and Raghav shook it.

"When are you guys moving?" he asked the girls.

"As soon as we talk to our parents, about two, three weeks I'd say."

They were all silent for some time. Kalpana messed with a strand of her hair.

"Let's go," Tani said, finally

She grabbed Kalpi's hand and Maya followed.

Raghav stopped Paakhi from leaving and held her back.

Paakhi looked away feverishly.

"you told her didn't you?" Raghav asked her.

"yes, I did," Paakhi said, finally looking into his eyes. "She was wasting her time in revenge, I had to tell her."

"you brought the CD of her innocence to court, upon my request."

"So you guys are leaving?" To Paakhi's surprise, his voice sounded disheartened.

"yes... Kalpi is leaving," Paakhi told him. "And so are we."

She patted him on the shoulder and walked out, leaving him alone.

"All the drama is over," Raghav said out loud, still not digesting the news.

"The girls will be gone."

'You were liking her attention' a sly voice in his head told him. 'Even if it were negative.'

"Out of my life."

Raghav heard the clearing of a throat and looked up.

"But you have me," Raj said, entering the cabin.

"You liked those girls, didn't you?" he said, indicating he'd heard the conversation.

Raghav's shoulders stiffened. "Stay out of my personal life, ya?"

Raghav strode out of the cabin angrily..

"Too bad," Raj said, sounding crestfallen. "That girl was indeed one of a kind." "I was liking her attention too... first time someone had paid me attention!"

Bhopal, India

[9 weeks Later]

On this ordinary morning, I opened two of my eyes. Both in the hope that finally I'd see the world.

And of course! See those cookies that Paakhi had promised me!

After I had finished through my promised cookies at the breakfast table, we set off for the temple.

I know that Bappa will set everything right with time. :)

I bent down to take the Pandit Ji's blessings.

"What is your wish, child?" he asked me.

"You know as well as I that wishes are not to be revealed," I told him politely.

The Pandit Ji nodded, agreeing. "I will pray for you, my child," he told me.

Paakhi tugged at my dupatta. "Kalpi, we're getting late!" she exclaimed.

"Don't be in such a rush all the time," I warned her. "Take this prasad. It will help you win today's fashion show."

"Really?" Paakhi asked eagerly.

I watched as Paakhi banged her head on the floor several times, to be sure that her wish would be granted. Then, she took double the prasad taking my advice a little too seriously. ;) "to help me win," she said, chewing.

...

"And the winner is..

our very own Dazzling Fashionetta'!"

[By the way guys, my cousin and I looked up what dazzling meant and here is the first definition we came across. It had us laughing like crazy 🤣 1st defn. extremely bright, especially so as to blind the eyes temporarily]

Paakhi jumped up and down excitedly. She was known by this name by her fans.

She went up to receive her trophy and her prize of Rs. 20,000. She was all smiles. She thanked her fans, and of course her friends! A.k.a. Maya, Tani, and I!

Later, Maya had to pull Paakhi away from the crowd, as she liked the attention so much she had started giving out autographs.

So, that evening we went out to celebrate.

We noticed a noisy crowd nearby. "I wonder what the commotion is about," Tani wonder aloud.

Before, we could find out what all the commotion was about someone had pulled me up.

"Who would like to walk the fiery path while carrying this young lady?'

There was a hush through the crowd. The girls stood shocked.

Silence..

I stood there stunned.

"I Will"

A breeze went my way, as I stood there in a daze.

Note: I was writing this up when the page got refreshed and everything disappeared. :( so I wrote what I remembered heehe..

Um also! I wanna thank my cousin sis deep for just giving me hilarious ideas while I as writing..😆

Stubborn you were really 'STUBBORN ' not to continue this unique concept FF , all this while !!! I am glad the Good God has 'dusted' off all the 'cow webs' from your eyes and made you realise that you have left a lovel Ff unfinished ! THANKS a Million for continuation .

Miss her. Raj ' s line was surprising though. Please complete next part is it rags who will
Carry kalpi and clear one thing is kalpi Getting operation on her eyes or has she gotten it and can she see now it is very unclear.

Ps dazzling lol 😆 loved the definition and for makki lol 😆
