Part 16 (A)

"Ladies and Gentlemen.." Tania announced brightly. "Please welcome our chief guest Raghav Singhania!!"

Even before Tania finished speaking her sentence into the microphone the audience had broke into applause. 👏👏👏

"My special employee Kalpana Jadhav will welcome our guest with a bouquet of flowers" Tania went on to say.

She then looked at Raghav and smirked. "Go Kalpana.." she said pushing her towards Raghav who had now stepped up onto the stage.

Kalpana put up a smile on her face and walked up to Raghav. She gave him a bow and held out the flowers for him.

Raghav's lips were parted in shock as this was what he least expected.

"Take it Sir" Kalpana said, stressing on the word 'sir'.

Raghav let out something that could be confused with coughing or laughter.

"Thanks" he mumbled as he grabbed the bouquet from Kalpi's hands.

"My pleasure" Kalpana said. She was all smiles today and looked absolutely gorgeous in her pink & white Indian dress.

"Kalpi.." Raghav started to say but she had already turned to Tani.

"Tanu, let the success party begin" she exclaimed. "It will be very exciting!"

Tanu who was grinning a bit too much jovially announced that the party had officially started with the arrival of their special guest.

"Mr. Singhania, I am proud to announce that this project was a big hit" Tani said as she walked over to accompany him.

"Same here Ms. Sehgal" Raghav told Tani, his voice kind of quiet.

"Are you feeling alright Mr. Singhania?" Tani asked him. "I mean to say that you sound unusually sad.." she said patting him on the shoulder.

"Oh no.. he's fine" Sammy said coming to Raghav's aid. "Just a little headache.. right Raghav?" he asked giving Raghav a look.

"Oh- yeah.." Raghav said although his eyes were searching for Kalpi.

"Looking for someone?" Tani asked sweetly.

"Yes- I mean no!" Raghav said.

Sammy glared at Tani and dragged Raghav off with him.

Tani giggled to herself. "Veise.. I am never girly.. but still.." she muttered to herself as she laughed.

...

"Love is in the air... in the very air we both breathe.." Prem remarked as he walked past Maya.

He turned once and winked.

Maya smiled and put her hands behind her back as she walked up to Prem lovingly.

Prem grinned as he thought Maya had fallen for him, but just then Maya's smile disappeared and she took off her sandal.

"Accha Bacchu.." she said. "Now you're flirting with me. I will not spare you this time!"

"No Maya.." Prem said backing off. "I was just.." As he noticed that Maya isn't stopping he ran away mumbling something about tomboys.

"Hmph!" Maya said crossing her arms angrily. "Why does this gaddha always have to come across me!"

...

"Would you like a drink?" Sammy asked her.

"Sure..." Paakhi said taking the glass of juice from him.

"You know.. they say that drinking from the same glass helps increase love.." Sammy started to say when Paakhi frowned and dropped the glass of juice.

"Why are all you boys the same? With this flirting nature? I thought you to be innocent, but now I see how wrong I was."

Sammy opened his mouth to say something but Paakhi held up a hand. "Oh please!" she said. "And it's eating from the same plate, the saying has nothing to do with juice!"

"Careful..." Sammy called out as Paakhi almost stepped on a piece of broken glass.

She paused and glared at him. "I don't like such jokes okay? I am a very innocent girl."

"I bet you are" Sammy said sarcastically. "I'll be leaving then" he said coldly as he turned to leave.

Paakhi rolled her eyes and went on to search for the other girls.

...

"You look happy."

Raghav turned to find Kalpana standing next to him. He hadn't noticed when she had appeared by his side.

"No..?" Raghav replied dumbly.

"It's cool" Kalpana said with a wide smile. "After all now you must be feeling light because you know who is the real criminal.."

Kalpana's eyes teared up a bit as she said this. Sometimes it is difficult to act all happy and all when there is so much pain stored inside you.

She blinked her eyes a few times to make her eyes seem less wet.

"No Kalpi.. in fact I am sadder now to know that aunty has.."

Kalpana turned away from Raghav as tears threatened to come out of her eyes.

She pretended to laugh and said, "Enjoy the party Sir." Then she walked off without looking back at Raghav.

She immediately went into the washroom and wiped her cheeks with a few paper towels. "Oh gosh, I have to be strong.."

After all she had to carry out step one.

"Oyee Mr. Singhania..!!!" Kalpana hollered as soon as she set foot into the hall.

Great update. Poor rags but he deserves it. But how did kalpi put on makeup isn't she blind? But I want to see ragna together now and rags make it up to kalpi.

This is one FF ,which I wait for but it seems to take ages for the updates to be forthcoming !! Problem getting ideas ? We can help out with 'suggestions' . No offence, but my love for this blind Kalpi FF is tremendous. Please keep up with regular updates. Thanks.
