~Chapter 7 (Pt B)~
At NYSD.
Raghav was waiting for Kalpi. He wondered why she's late today. Because, As always, Kalpana is an early comer. Then, Raghav started to teach the kids. They were rehearsing for the competition which was to be held next month. Soon, Kylie came running towards Raghav sir. She was running as if someone was chasing her, But she was there to tell a good news that would suprise Raghav.
"Shir, Today ish Kalpana mish's Birthday!" Said Kalpi very exicitedly.
"Really? Asked Raghav.
Raghav smiled a very mischievous smile and thought of a plan. He wanted to celebrate Kalpana's birthday, With great pomp and show. So, He thought of taking permission from Mrs. Jones about the idea of throwing a birthday bash on the classroom, then only he can proceed to his next step.
Mrs. Jones was sitting at her sofa. She was eagerly waiting for Kalpana to come, Because she wanted to wish her a Happy birthday. She was also thinking of throwing a birthday bash for Kalpana, But, She can't decorate each and everything all by herself. Then suddenly, Raghav came to her office.
"Mrs. Jones, Can we throw a surprise birthday party for Kalpana, Please? Me and the kids will do all the preparations, I promise" Said Raghav eager to know Mrs. Jone's reply
Mrs. Jones was smiling at him when he was telling her this. Mrs. Jones knew each and everything. Kylie had told her. Ms. Jones knows that Raghav is attracted towards Kalpana. She was very sure that this man will always keep Kalpana happy. She nodded her head saying yes.
"Okay, And, Please make it quick, We have less time, Kalpana could be here in a minute" Said Mrs. Jones.
"Don't worry Ma'am" Said Raghav smiling at her..
Raghav was back in the classroom. He locked the door. And then, he signaled the kids to sit next to him. Kylie knew that he was going to talk about the Plan. So, She said..
"Guysh! Pleash, Letsh go, Do you all know that today ish Kalpana mish'sh Birthday?" Said Kylie taking everyone's attention.
"Oh my god really" Said the kids..
Then Raghav told them to keep quiet and to listen to him. He told the kids that we'll plan a surprise party for Kalpana miss. All of the children were following his commands. All of them began to decorate the classroom. Raghav went out to buy decorations, balloons, and Kalpana's birthday cake. He remembered that she loves mocha flavor. So, He bought a Mocha cake for Kalpana. Meanwhile, Kylie was in the classroom helping everyone with the decorations. She told everyone, As if she was the teacher to do their own work.
"Guyshhh, Thishhh should be Kalpana mish'sh beschtescht Birthday bash ever,Okay Guyshhh" Said Kylie
"Okay Kylie Ma'am" Said all the kids while Laughing at her.
Everyone called Kylie Ma'am because she loves giving lectures to people and she has that habit of assigning people what to do and not what to do. Well, what shall we do? She learned each and every habit of hers from Kalpana miss. She loves imitating her. That's why, She's also known as "Kalpana miss's Chatterbox and imitator".
Raghav came back with all of the requirements. Everything was ready. The cake was also placed on the table. Then, Raghav told all the kids that they should turn off the lights. And to stay quiet untill Kalpana won't come inside. Then, Raghav heared a noise of footsteps coming towards the classroom. So, He told the kids to hide in a corner so that Kalpana won't see them. He switched off the lights and then unlocked that door. Then all of a sudden, kalpana went inside the classroom. She was confused as no one was inside. She kept yelling "Anyone here??"
But no one was replying. She was about to leave the classroom when Raghav and the kids wished her-
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY KALPANA MISS" Wished everyone.
Then Raghav turned on the lights, Kalpana was overwhelmed to see all the decorations. Raghav went close to her and wished her saying-
"Happy Birthday Kalpana, Many returns for the day and I hope you loved our surprise" Said Raghav Smiling at her.
"You mean, You and the kids? But how?" Said Kalpana as she can't believe that this was all planned by him and the kids.
"Actually, Kylie told me that today is your birthday. And So, I asked permission from Mrs. Jones to celebrate your birthday, And, me and the kids decorated the whole classroom just for you, So stop taking and let's cut the cake." Said Raghav while he was dragging her to come with him..
"Happy birthday Miss" Said all the kids while running towards Kalpana and all of them Hugged her tightly. She too, hugged them all very tightly, Tears of joy were streaming down from her face. She thought that after her mother's death, She won't be celebrating her birthday like this. Raghav was just standing there watching the kids and Kalpana. His eyes were moist. A tear came rolling down from his right eye, He was very happy for Kalpana. Afterall, It was his main goal- To make Kalpana happy and to never see tears in her eyes. So, Raghav said to Kalpana-
"Aren't you cutting the cake Ms. Beautiful?" Said Raghav blinking an eye on Kalpana making her to blush.
Kalpana was cutting her cake. She blowed the candles and wished for something special to happen to her life. She fed herself and fed all the Kids. then, She fed Raghav too. She gave him a very big piece so that it won't fit inside his mouth. Both of them began laughing at each other. Then, Raghav was in a very mischievous mood, He took a fistful of the cake and then he spread it all over Kalpana's face,
"Oh really Raghav, Just wait for your suprise" Said Kalpana sarcastically.
Kalpana filled both of her fists with the cake. she was ready to have a food fight with Raghav. Soon, The children joined them. Raghav was chasing Kalpana. Raghav increased his speed, And then grabbed Kalpana from behind. His hands were around her waist, She felt as if she was electrocuted. Kalpana faced Raghav. They were very close to each other. Soon, Raghav told Kalpi that someone is looking at both of them, Kalpana believed him and looked at the back. Raghav place some cake on Kalpana's cheeks, And then he ran away saying,
"Yahooo! I won!!" Said Raghav screaming on the top of his lungs
"Hey, You cheater, JUST WAIT WHAT I'LL DO NOW" Kalpana said to him..
Kalpana kept chasing him with the cake on her hand. She was behind him, Raghav managed to escape from her everytime. But this time, Kalpana caught him red handed and the two of them fell down. Kalpana was on the top of Raghav and he was on the opposite side. Then, their staring session began. Kalpana wiped the cake on raghav's face, Now, He was looking like a joker.
Kalpana stood up from there and started laughing, All of the kids were laughing too seeing their Raghav sir. Kalpana can't stop laughing..
"Oh My God Raghav, you look so funny!" Said Kalpana trying to control her laughter.
" Well, This is the only thing that I wanted to see with, Your beautiful smile" Said Raghav placing his hands on her shoulders.
Hearing this, Kalpana smiled.
"Thank you so much Raghav, Thanks for everything." Said Kalpana with watery eyes.
"Now, Why are you crying? Can't you understand that I hate tears?" Said Raghav while wiping her tears.
Kalpana came closer towards Raghav, And hugged him very tightly.She felt the warmth, she was craving for in all these years, She felt happiness in his touch. Raghav hugged him tighter, while he was brushing her hair with his hands. He loved the feeling of her touch. He rested his head on her shoulders. Soon, The kids found them hugging each other and then all of them said,
"OOO Look who's in love" Said the kids teasing both Raghav and Kalpana.
Kalpana broked the hug and then told the kids to shup up. She began to blush heavily, Seeing this, Kylie said..
"Mish ish shoo red she'sh like a Chomacho (Tomato)" Laughed Kylie..
Raghav and Kalpana were still gazing at each other and smiling at each other..Their Gaze seemed to be everlasting..
