~Chapter 7 (Part A)~
It was morning. Kalpana woke up hearing the birds chirping, The ray of sunlight passed on to her. She immediately drawed the curtains of the window. She became so calm after looking at the bright sun and after feeling the cool breeze from outside. She went to look at the calendar, She is surprised to know that today is 13th of June. Yes, Today is Kalpana's birthday. But then, She became sad as there is no one who would wish her, Well,it was only her mother who wished her on her birthdays, Tears were streaming down from her face, She still remembers how her mother would plan each and everything just to make her feel very special on her birthday.
~Flashback~
Kalpana: Mom! Im getting late! Please give me my tiffin box!
Richa (Kalpi's Mom): Just wait Honey!
Richa gave Kalpana her tiffin box. She wished her happy birthday.
"Happy birthday princess, You're a year older now! Always be happy and cherish each and every moment of your life, You know very well that Im not going to last longer in this earth" Said Richa while tears were streaming down from her face.
"No mom, Please don't say that, Im hear with you, and will always be with you. And mom, Don't ever tell me that you won't have a long life okay, Because when Im here, Nothing will happen to you" Said Kalpana while cupping her hands on her mother's face.
"Oh sweetheart, Im so lucky to have a daughter like you. Always remember that I love you, Ok?" Said Richa.
The two of them hugged each other very tightly, Kalpana was crying on her mother;s back. Richa noticed her crying and comforted her,
"No sweetheart, Please don't cry. Today's your day, Go have fun" Richa said to Kalpana.
"Okay mom, Please take care of yourself, Bye!" Said Kalpana
"By..eee Sweetheart" By saying this, Richa became weaker and weaker and then suddenly she collapsed through the ground. Seeing this, Kalpana screamed
"Mom! Mom please get up"..Kalpana said hopefully..
Kalpana was shaking and did not know what to do, So she called the ambulance.
The ambulance had arrived and they had reached at the hospital. There, Richa was admitted in the ICU section of the hospital. Kalpana was panicking and was telling the doctor to please save my mother's life.
"Please save my mother,She's the only one I have in this world, Please doctor, Kalpana said while crying.
"We are trying our best Ms. Jadhav" Said the doctor hoping that she would calm down.
Kalpana was looking at her mother who was being given treatments by the doctor. She saw that the doctors were trying their best to save her mother's life. Soon, One of the doctors came out of the operation room.
"Im so sorry Ms. Jadhav, Your mother is no more" Said the doctor..
Kalpana can't believe what she had just heared. It was as if she was torn into pieces. She started to cry helplessly..
"Noo! Mom! How can you leave me!!" Kalpana said while crying
*** FLASHBACK ENDS***
Tears started to fall from Kalpana's eyes. No one knows how much she misses her Mom.
"I love you mom" Said Kalpana while looking at her photo frame. Her 17th birthday was her best as well as her worst birthday. Never did she knew that her birthday will become her mother's Death day. She took some courage and went outside her house. She went to NYSD.
Next Part: Raghav knew about Kalpi's birthday from Kylie. So, He and the kids planned a surprise birthday party for Kalpana.
