Part 3

The flight landed. The little boy came 2 Kalpana & thanked her for offering him her window seat. Raghav had already left but Kalpana was ignorant 2wards that fact. As Kalpana walked towards the luggage area , she was also searching for Paakhi . She was more than rejoiced when she caught a glimpse of Paakhi marching 2wards her.

Paakhi :So Kalpana , how was your journey ?

Kalpana :It was good ,but only till UK. How I wish the plane hadn't halted at UK !

Paakhi enquired the reason for her saying so. Kalpana narrated the entire incident to her of how she had confronted an arrogant man whom she named Richie Rich' & their much heated conversation. Paakhi was infuriated on learning what happened 2 kalpi. After some time Kalpana could see their bags approaching on the baggage carousel. She & Paakhi collected the luggage with Kalpi yet speaking abt the man. While getting off her last red bag of the conveyer belt she said

Kalpana :And u know what ... what did that jerk name me ... 'Mother India'.How dare he ?

An angry Paakhi chuckled in her mind as she did agree with this one thing of Kalpi's arrogant Richie Rich. She knew Kalpana since the very childhood & so also her helpful nature. They had grown up as almost sisters. She was a helpful girl & would not think twice before helping anybody ... sometimes even a stranger .

Paakhi POV :Heee... Mother India... How true !! You have these qualities of yours from Kamla ma

(I hate her in the show but have pictured her as a decent woman in my ff)

They left the airport with Kalpi yet cursing Richie Rich & his arrogancy. But she soon forgot about him as she admired the pleasant weather of USA. Luckily Paakhi had travelled to USA a couple of times & was aware of many things which Kalpi didn't have an idea of. Paakhi & Kalpi had already rented a small apartment for them to stay. The girls took a cab & also called their respective parents & informed them about their safe journey. They got all the luggage in the lift as they made way to their apartment on the 5th floor. They decided 2 arrange their clothes & things as they were not that tired.

Here on the other hand Raghav was warmly welcomed by Sammy who had come with an earlier flight. Raghav was cursing Sammy for not getting him a ticket of the business class & making him sit amongst down-market ppl. (This guy really needs kalpana's piece of mind)

Sammy did not respond as he was used 2 this side of Raghav Singhania the business tycoon. Sammy had 2 divert Raghav's attention as he was fussing a bit too much.

Sammy :Chal chhod na yaar! Bags collect le ?

Sammy & Raghav waited for their luggage. Sammy got his but were unable to find Raghav's. It had almost been an hour since they were waiting for Raghav's luggage 2 come.

Back at the apartment , KAlpana had unpacked all her bags except the red one which had her books. She unzipped the bag & was shocked 2 see what she saw !! There were a couple of blazers, shirts, ties etc. but not her books for sure. She then checked the tag & realised that she had got the wrong bag by mistake. Now what should she do? She immediately called Paakhi who was away 2 make some food arrangements & told her about the matter. Paakhi asked her to go back 2 the airport & instructed her 2 report in a particular office.

Here Raghav had already complained about his missing luggage 2 the authorities & was continously bombarding them for their ignorance. Suddenly a girl who was led by an officer entered the room where the officials were present with Raghav & Sammy. She had a bag. Raghav pointed at that bag spontaneously saying "That's mine !!" He then lifted his eyes 2 see the face of the person who held his bag.

Kalpana & Raghav had that simultaneous 'TUM' moment leaving Sammy & the officers confused.

Raghav: (with his signature smirk) Arey wa ! Ab tum chor bhi nikali !!

(speaking to Sammy in a sarcastic tone) Kuch der pehle tak koi tha jo mujhe Hindustani naariyon ke baare mein bhaashan de raha tha. Aur abhi toh lagta hai ki vo insaan tag padhna bhul gaya hai ya fir shayad se padhna aata hi nahi hoga.

(pointing towards Kalpana) Kahi vo tum toh nahi ??

Kalpana was trying 2 control her anger as she knew she was at fault this time , but that didn't really give him the right 2 call her a thief & an illiterate. She was abut 2 say something when Sammy interrupted

Sammy :Ye tu kya keh raha hai ? Agar vo chor hoti toh vo bag lautane kyu aati ?

Kalpana : (fearlessly & calmly) Exactly...lekin iss baat ko samajhne ke liye dimaag ki jarurat hoti hai , jiski kitni kami aapke friend mein hai vo toh main dekh hi chuki hu .Log jab self obsession se baahar nikalenge tabhi toh sach dekh paayenge .

She kept the bag with a thud on the table in front of Raghav & said

Kalpana :Check kar lo sab thik hai ya nahi ... ya fir shaayad maine kuch churaya ho !

Saying so she stormed out of the office leaving behind a red with anger Raghav & a stunned Sammy. Kalpana was succesful in finding her bag & headed towards her apartment.

Kalpana POV : Bappa fir se mujhe is manhoos shakal ke darshan kabhi mat dena !!

But bappa had different plans !

Note-: I'm really pissed off by the abala naaris on tv. So in my ff Kalpana will always have the upper hand when it comes 2 RS or as she addresses him 'Richie Rich'. Thank You !!
