There's a reason why the cvs aren't listening to us, especially since they get most of the responses to this drama via tweets and FB.
The reason being they know the majority of these aren't trp contributors and those who are aren't Tweeters and on FB.
I've been saying this very often in this forum and others that just by watching the show on TV doesn not automatically contribute to the trps. But, nobody listens
I live in India and I DO NOT contribute to trps. Neither do my friends and family.
The trps come from a small and select percentage of the viewing public which is in no way a true indicator of what is being watched the most.
The TAM machines are very few in number, a few thousands only. These machines are installed in the homes of a few families spread all over India, but mainly in the North of India. These families are sworn to secrecy. They are taught how to use these machines so that the correct Data can be collected every Wednesday. These machines are then installed in the homes of another group of people after six months and the same procedure continues.
So you see, by simply turning on your TV, you CANNOT contribute to trps.
