in the beginning this show started on a very wonderful issue of the domestic help wanting their children to have better lives, to educate their children, and give the opportunity to to become Professionals, doctors, engineers, pilot ect.
Kamal wanted to give her daughter a bright future so to gave her a good education and all.

but really, what was the point, if all she wanted was to find a rich man and get her daughter married to a multi millionaire

I would have loved to see Kalpi achieving wealth through her own hard work, rather the net her rich boss and get her ticket to the upper class society.

and doesn't is sort of give out a wrong message. that a girl from a lower middle class can become wealthy and life of luxury by marrying a rich Man. what is the use of all that education.

what message does it give to the common people out there.

i know the lot of people love this sort of M&B love stories. and it is cute on television.\

But honestly how many of you ladies out there, would want your sons, Brothers or male relatives to marry the daughter of your house Maid.?

(Mind you this is not about Ragav and Kalpi.)

this is about the concept of this particular story, the message it is imparting and its relevance in our own society.

i would appreciate honest answers from all those who think that TV should have some social responsibility about the messages they are giving to the viewers

Hi kalpi did not go after Raghav! Raghav went after her he said I love you to her first! I don't care if who is rich and who is poor if my brother marries the maid or a maids daughter my family and I will not give a hoot as long as they love each other trust, support each other I don't care if she is a princess or pupper especaily if she is kind and loving towards my family! My parents take you two have to live your life go live it with our blessings! Sorry if this annoys you but that's just my pov the world has progress so much I feel sorry for people who belive rich and poor are not ment to be! Yes Kalpi is educated and talanted she can make her own future but love happened and to a rich guy what is she supose to do they(cvs) wrote that it is true love they show us that why explore this love between Ragna and then disappoint us the viewer!! What message are they sending??? Hurt the poor at every oppunity we the rich get!! Their cries don't matter to us!! We the rich are always the best so to he'll with you poor people!!

i'v got no problem with Kalpi or Ragav. its nice that they love eachother. and marry for love.
my point is the story. it started with a mother wanting her child to Achieve great things with the education she gave her. i would have liked to see Kalpi achieve something on her own esteem.
that she rose to a position of higher status because she took risks, worked hard and made a name for herself in a professional world.

why make it a run of the mill love story, when they had a wonderful story to tell about the struggles of a young girl who achieved something through merit. rather the fall in love and marry a rich Guy and piggy back on his influence.

Just because Kalpi and Ragav are in love and want to marry, it doesn't mean that Kalpi can't achieve the great things her mother envisaged for her. A career dream should not be at the cost of happiness, love, and life itself. Dreams should be balanced and should be able to bend in its journey. The focus should be the goal she wants to achieve in life, the journey can be whether she does it as a single person or married.

As for taking a piggy back from a rich guy, if a person is not capable of touching the sky career wise no piggy back will help. Marrying a rich person will just enable you to lead a luxurious/ comfortable life, not give a successful career. No husband will welcome a dumb wife into the office to make or be part of business decisions. That is earned through your own merit and capabilities.

Marrying Ragav will give Kalpi opportunities, for those opportunities to become fruitful Kalpi will need to use her intellect.

EMA is about breaking the barriers society has created
- first one, a poor labourer rises above her station career wise
- second one, you don't have to be of the same social class to fall in love and marry (be equals)

Kalpi can decide after marriage wants to be known as Ragav's wife or create her own identity as Mrs Kalpi Ragav Singhania.

P.s. Even if you are rich, you still have to work hard to make good business decisions. You have to have your eye on the ball at all times, for the fall is longer one.
