As a newbie, I couldn't post this chapter earlier L 10 post/day rule...Sorry for the delay but ENJOY!!!

Part 11

Kalpi tried to call warden from Ma's house and is about to get her history when Juhi hangs the phone and takes an oath from Kalpi to not instigate.

J: Kalpi, you are supposed to focuses on work not me or my past! Detective, I will tell you when it feels right.

The whole Kapoor family taunts Neetu for being so careless (except Pakhi). She feels ashamed for what Neetu did to Kalpi and profusely apologizes to Kalpi. Kalpi tells her not to apologize and let past stay in past. Neetu is furious and wants to have revenge against Kamla and wonders what her weakness is. Kalpi has become Kamla's strength so she thought if they won't have roof over their head then she will realize the slum she belongs to. Neetu coaxes Sahil and Prem to make the land of Singhania chawl's theirs' since possibility of Raghav coming back to India seems null. They agree to it as a pay-back for their insult.

Kalpi is happy to start work in a day. Ma is happy in Rahul's studio apartment and her family is proud of her. Kalpi spends half her day with Ma and other half at her home. Pakhi is given the job on Sammy's reference and both girls are to be co-managing director. Raghav is pleased on having Kalpi working for him as he admired how she fought for her right plus her intellect.

At Office

Pakhi is excited and dresses up for first day of work. She comes to pick Kalpi up and both Moms give their blessings to the girls. Pakhi is still unsure if she has a crush on Sammy or RS (who full form is not known by any employee). Kalpi is there with an aim of 30 days and drives right into work understanding the mechanics at RS contructions.

Raghav comes in his usual dashing attire with arrogant face. He yells at custodian to get Ms. Yadav.

K: uff this zka, it's not an hour and he want to trash talk. She rolls her eyes and attains a stiff posture and knocks on Raghav cabin door.

R: Come in, Ms. Yadav. Congratulations on your position but your failures are about to start.

K: (surprised) I'm ready to face my challenge and won't go down without a fight.

R: Okay, I need you to prepare two presentations, one for a project in Pune and other in Delhi.

K: Sure sir, I will finish them by 5 p.m. so you could view them and inform if there are certain changes you want made.

Kalpi is halfway done with presentation works when she receives a call from frantic Pakya telling her to come home since there is an eviction notice saying their chawl belongs to Kapoor.

Kalpi explains that she will need half an hour and be home. She calls Ma and asks her to handle situation in chawl. Kalpi rushes her work but doesn't compromise the quality; she then takes those files to Raghav. Raghav observes her intently and rejoices that he will win the bet easily but is stunned ...not stunned is an understatement with the caprice her files were completed.

Raghav POV: She did such impeccable job then why is she so dull and disturbed.

R: Ms. Yadav, you are paid to work, not stare into empty space.

K(whispers softly): Sorry Sir. She gathers all her courage and asks if she can leave early as there is family emergency.

Raghav felt his heart constricted at her behavior and shocked himself and her when he granted her the day off.

R POV: What the... Raghav, when did you become so sympathetic? I need to stay focused and not let my guard, the walls I built to keep people out up!

Sammy rushes into Raghav's cabin and describes Kapoors new plan of vengeance against Kamla.

R: That explains Kalpi's odd behavior.

S: You said something? I thought you said Kalpi.

R: Stop daydreaming. He then calls his secretary to book a flight for Pune.

S(astounded): So, you are just going to sit and let Kapoors take what is rightfully yours.

R(smirks): No way in hell but I'm not going to go at every whim to save chawl people. If anyone of them has little brain, they will search of me.

Kamla and Juhi try to pacify the situation, with Kamla talking to Sahil (fail attempt), to Pakhi's tantrum on her dad (also failed), to worker's strike (worked halfway) and getting a stay order. In the meantime, Kalpi asks God to give her a sign to help her keep her home. She notices a kid crying on the road over a loosely- binded Alphabet book. She asks the kid why is he crying and he explains his little sister tore his book and now he has all pages but he doesn't know what after Q?

She dries the kid's tears and takes his cheeks in her hands and says that is it. I will help you! After Q comes R like R for Raghav. The kid hugs and kisses a shocked Kalpi's cheek. Kalpi starts chanting Raghav, Raghav, Raghav, that is it. He will save his chawl, his father's land. She then runs to Vitthal who in meantime found that Mr. Singhania's signature to be faulty. She decides to go find Raghav Singhania.

Next Morning

Sammy too saw the presentations made by Kalpi and nevertheless was very impressed by her skills and hard work. He saw how disturbed she was, and thought of acting like a little birdie.

S: Good morning Kalpana. What is with the long face? RS is out of town and you should be happiest out of all, said Sammy jokingly.

K: No sir, He is my boss. He is supposed to be strict to help us employees excel at our jobs.

S: May I be of some assistance... you look troubled. Pakhi related your home problem to me.

K POV: Pakhi bhi, if it is up to her. She would announce to the whole world the drama happening in and around me. What was the need to involve Sammy sir. He must think I'm desperate for help and my self-respect won't allow that.

K(forcibly smiles): Not unless you know the destination of the star of hope, Raghav Singhania.

S POV: Finally, she says something. She and Raghav are so similar. Ego key barey, broken smiles mey champions.

S: He is in Pune, I got sources you know but I heard he hardly helps people.

K: OMG really, Thanks Sammy sir. I will make him come here before my home is broken. I can challenge you and I never lose a challenge.

Kalpi informs Ma and her family that she is leaving for Pune since Raghav is there.

Precap: Will Kalpi be able to convince Raghav? Car ride with a few bumps...Stay tuned
