Even though my brain is rusting here thinking random possibilities. Ill try and see if I can solve your riddle here.
Chalo let's start then:

First, i think there will be a rain sequence in which Raghav and Kalpi will be shown coming close to have some confrontation about their pending love. Since Kalpi hasn't said anything yet, we might see them having another discourse on this. Their interaction will start. We might even see them coming close, though we shall see that move from Raghav more. The rain will happen. Kalpi might feel hesitate/shy and might run towards the party area.

Second, when she will reach there she will see the surprise planned by Raghav instead of any party. Now lets keep the surprise aside since we don't know what it might be that will make her confess.

Lastly, we shall see, Kalpi feeling happy, secure about her feelings, hence confessing! And we see more romance after that!
