After some time Kalpi was ready and when she came into their view, they were stunned by how well the sari suited Kalpi, and the colour was perfect for her, she was stunning and the sari flowed beautifully. Their thoughts were disturbed when they heard a car hoot downstairs, Kalpi started to blush at the thought of her first dinner with Raghav. She took blessings from the family, and the lady ordered her to enjoy the evening, this made Kalpi smile thinking that the lady gives instructions like Raghav, but dismissed the thought and walked out. As she was making her way to the car, Raghav was trying not to look in her direction and appear disinterested, but he could not control his need to look and what he saw, had surpassed his most beautiful dream of her, she was breathtakingly gorgeous, almost like she has stepped out of a magazine. He could not take his eyes off her, when he was abruptly disturbed, when she snapped her fingers calling out to him. Raghav was lost for words, but immediately tried to compose himself and get with it, the silence was deafening in the car and she decided that she would switch the radio on, not realizing that he too made the same move, and they both made contact resulting in an intense eye lock, until Kalpi broke the trance, by asking him to watch the road. They finally reached the restaurant and found that it was unusually quiet with very little activity around. She wondered if they came to the right place, but before she could ask, Raghav already started walking to her side to open the door for her. Sammy had made the booking, and it became evident to them both that he booked the entire place, so that they would not be disturbed. Raghav was silently thanking Sammy for doing this, as he could not fathom having other men around with Kalpi looking so stunning. They were both directed to their table and Kalpi was impressed with the decor, pretty fairy lights adorned the pillars which was strategically placed, flower displays and the colours complemented the setting so well. She could not believe that she was there and she was with her Raghav, and she was going to make him break that wall that he built around himself, and that will help her work at breaking the wall she too had built around herself that was created to safeguard themselves against hurt and pain. She started talking, asking him about his time away, and he amazingly started opening up, and she was doing cart wheels in her head when she realised that he is talking, he was actually talking to her about something other than work. It was now her turn, as he started asking her about school, college and if she still had to help Paakhi with all her homework. Kalpi became quite, but immediately thought she is being unfair, as he had disclosed his personal life and its time he too knows what happened to her when he left. She started telling him that she went away to boarding school when he left and explained why that had happened, he was shocked beyond belief, thinking how can her own mother inflict such unfairness on her, and realizes that's the void and pain he sees in her eyes, which he noticed even though he tried hard to block it out. Her eyes welled up with tears, and he couldn't see tears in her beautiful eyes, and placed his hand on hers trying to make her forget that pain. Raghav asked her to dance to distract her, she obliged, as she could never say no to him. They both gracefully danced, completely forgetting all the pain and started to feel complete while embracing each other. She realized at that point that all the uneasiness and sadness she felt when she looked at Raghav, all the times she was worried about him, was because she was totally and completely in love with, simultaneously Raghav realised that all the times he was pushing her away because he knew that he was falling in love, but he can do nothing now because he was hopelessly in love with the beautiful being in front of him. They spoke no words, but the intense stare spoke a thousand beautiful words. Both Kalpi and Raghav could see the love they had for each other, and coyly broke away from each other. This is when Kalpi noticed the reflection of the chandelier hanging by a thread and was about to plummet directly on Raghav, without even thinking she swiftly moves across pushing him out of the way.
