Rags had trust and cared for Kalpi in their young days! And wen he returned he was changed until she change him back to who he really was! She brought back care and love and trust in him and that's the rags we know now!!!one if the scenes I love most is the flowers scene where he was going to throw it away genda! The pain and hurt we saw in rags face was mind blowing!!! I love that scene among others!! Love your post!

For now, I just want to say that I dont think Raghav was in love with Kalpi in childhood. There was a strong bond, a pull, compassion and empathy, protectiveness that emerged after she was blamed for stealing... but not in love IMHO.

I was never terribly happy to watch Raghav's insults to be honest. I even forwarded some scenes but now when we look at him, I can kind of understand why he was so rude. He really needs to build a strong fort around his heart to protect himself. He was a complete mess yesterday without Kalpi knowing and watching her anxiety due to him ignoring her. He needs to hide his gentle, caring, tender, soft, protective side from the world for they will use and abuse those traits of his to their advantage and walk away once they are done.

My main problem with his behavior with Kalpi before his confession was that CVs thought insulting Kalpi was a way to keep her away from him. He is in falling for her which is frustrating him, his loss of control is his problem then why take it out on her in that manner? Besides I was less tolerant with the insults as I have seen this behavior in many other male protagonists in other shows so I didnt want to see it again here.

😆 Ok then only for you I will not try to make such posts in the weekends. But hey! You got to make one now on Raghav. You made me curious. It took me about more than half a day to really put in my thoughts. 😛 I am glad it came just the way how I wanted except the "childhood love thing". To me their bond seemed real and very understanding. So I liked the fact that they were very close since childhood. I wish CVs brings their old interactions again and give this couple a more powerful feel.

But yes, even I don't like when a guy insults a girl in any sense. But guess what? These types of stories attracts the audience into the fictional world. I remember there was a random post on some other forum in which someone said that a bad guy and a good girl story tends to grab most of the attentions 😆

I consider raghav the same .I never forgive people for their insults though insulting me is a big problem coz i am too difficult to get insulted.and if i get the person in front gets a lamba chauda lecture from me ,just the way kalpi gives to raghav ...rofl...and the persons does often ends up calling ...meri maa galti ho gayi :)

anyways coming to my point again reagarding raghav .Well he did deserved to be bashed left right and centere for his rude and insultive behavior to people around. U r the boss that does not mean u can talk so inhumanly to ur employees.Their exists a code of conduct and u need to follow it . Whatever high postion u may have , it never gives u power enough to hurt another persons dignity and self respect which he often did it on kalpi .

Fine he was testing her passince fine he was testing her persiverence fine he was testing her fire. But dear raghav did end up bordering the limits of indain constitution itself as well as human rights which states that dignity and self respect of a person is his human right and u cannot hurt it

Honestly, if I had to describe Raghav in one word, then it would be: A Survivor (just like you mentioned that he has survived a lot alone). He's truly a very complex character in the show. I feel like the scenes are so interesting to analyze because he's shown to be so complex. Because he's faced a lot, it has definitely shaped his perception of society a certain way. It's not like he doesn't want to be caring or kind. It's simply that he knows that people would need to earn that hard way just like he had to - that's the reality for him. People think he has grown up with a silver spoon but he's grown up pretty empty, with no one to truly share the warmth with except few people. From what I could understand him so far, he really cares.

He cares so much about the people who are close to him that he's afraid to get close to people. People have used him to gain what they want in his life before, so he doesn't want that to happen again. He knows that he would do anything for the people he cared about (and he has done to show that when he was a child and helped Kalpi out with proof for her innocence, math, et cetera). He gets scared that the people close to him may either end up hurt by association with him or end up betraying him to gain something. I think these were the two reasons that he never wanted to get close to Kalpi or anyone else. That's the reason why he didn't trust her when she said that it was her who sold the presentation to Prem. He doubted her intentions because he didn't trust anyone anymore.

Later, when he did realize that it was too late to keep himself away from her because he was already in love, he decided to put up a facade. He became even more rude to her. I honestly didn't like this phase because I personally found his insults demeaning and very traumatizing. This is where I wanted to get mad at Raghav, not because he was being a jerk. This was also because he was hurting himself in the process. He himself put up that negative image in front of her and this became self-destructive later on for him.

I am not sure if he was in love when he was young, but he definitely have a deep connection with her. He felt drawn to her because of how similar (and different) they were simultaneously.

Now that he has realized his love, I am guessing this has caused him to self-reflect a little. He's realizing that his temper and aggression could create wrong image infront of her and he should work on that. I liked that part of RagNa. It's showing growth in both characters.

I honestly have a lot to say about him, because where I can definitely feel for him and sympathize with him, I also cannot completely let him off the hook. Then again, that's why I love this character so much. He's not perfect. He's just Raghav - Raghav Singhania.

I know that Raghav has done many wrong things and its sad how our hero has been portrayed as. Initially he has been a grey shade but I just wanted to bring out a man from his grey image and introduced a great human being that he really is 😃

I believe so. I don't think CVs will going to change his character, rather they will going to make a more mature person in him, with just the right attitude that he always carries. 😃

Bingo! She has definitely provided him with better things from her caring nature. He has changed himself to his initial characteristics that he always had, excluding what he has been showing to Kalpi from the very first meeting 😃

Somewhere... I am sure.. it was me who has the you could consider *Never Appreciating* Raghav kinds.. but trust me on one... I had lately.. (After that stupid courtroom session) started siding Raghav for his EFFORTS..!! But yes.. when it comes to seeing him suffer.. I do enjoy it.. why? as Shana di mentioned and as you also somewhere in ur post did highlight..
He wanted Kalpi to stay away from him, so as to save her from all bad things that could be associated with him..
and those degrading insults... !!!
Again.. I wouldn't blame only Raghav.. but Kalpi as well for pouring H2o on my expectations, by getting those flashbacks and falling in love instantly..

I will tell u exactly what I expected:
With all this insults that Raghav made, and everything he said... I wanted Raghav to feel bad about it...

. Somewhere this gap of rich and poor which is built in Kalpi's view, is result of Raghav's words.. But Raghav doesn't realize that.. neither do Kalpi.. When I say papad bello session for Raghav.. I mean to say.. after realizing how rude he was.. I want him to first appreciate his efforts rather then always going and cribing about the same to Sammy.. that she doesn't answer me.. she isn't good to me and blah blah..!!
Now kalpi pours water.. Kalpi thinks about how rude he was with her.. and thinks about that it was actually care for her.?? How did she conclude that???
Let me tell you that, something which CVs should have done...
Kalpi could now connect Raghav's words on night of Drunk and Drive... of 14th Feb, where he says, he pushes away all those for whom he starts caring for or getting close to..!!!
But did CVs show this???
No..!!

Till Date... Raghav isn't feeling bad for his actions.. I want him to have that one incident.. where he just thinks about his actions with kalpi in past..!! and Not on her face.. but at least in his mind says sorry to her... I am not even saying go on her face and apologize.. No No.. not needed.. But atleast do that to yourself ...
The day CVs ever shows this... Trust me.. You probably may not find anyone else respecting Raghav more then me...This would also make Raghav himself start appreciating his efforts.. I wouldn't have to worry about how many more papads.. neither will I ever count it...!

Tell me .. if I am expecting too much from Raghav now?

awesome post anum missed my comment or not hahahaha kidding well before reading all the other comments I'm gonna bore you with mine
see here I've been watching ema from starting coz of shilpa mam now irony is that her character is now most irritating for me now well that's another thing to talk about now neetu has always done emotional and physical attyachar on kamla and kalpi but still that few scenes of childhood and teenage raghav made me felt for him even more than kalpi coz atleast she had her father on her side but not raghav; the man who was equivalent to god for him even that person was snatched from him and poor guy think coz of something he did his mom too left him, for a man no matter how strong or rich that certainly leaves a big scars behind and that is what raghav has been carrying his whole life.
The moment raghav sat near baby kalpi and she smiled at him that scene was so adorable you just cant help it but say awww; that scene was true indication of how they would always be bonded by his unseen bridge no matter what .After the leap their first scene too was the similar indication and for me one of the my favourite ragna scenes. I wont talk about his rude behavior towards kalpi coz enough of that and all we have already fought for that in our court room.
now ragna are two broken souls for me raghav is more broken than kalpi for him every thing is extreme be it revenge or love now even after the confession there will be so many hurdles to cross society ,kapoors and majorly their families, Now what I'm more interested to see is there will be a time when kalpi will have to choose between her family and raghav (remember in kamla vitthal achar scene they both said kalpi will never do anything to disgrace us) who will she choose if not raghav what will be his reaction will he become stone hearted again or will try to win back her ?
😆 ok I think I've gone nuts like literally thinking about this too and i'll stop now

So true, everyone just sees the facade he puts on but if you look you can see that facade crack and a glimpse of the real Raghav peeks through especially when it concerns Kalpi.
