Part VIII
Raghav leaves for the office.Kalpana gets ready for office and reaches just after Raghav. Raghav notices her on her seat. Raghav calls her in his cabin.
Kalpana knocks on the door : May I come in.
Raghav : come in.
Raghav handed her a letter : Mrs Singhania u are promoted.
He shows her Pakhi's cabin : that is urs.
Kalpana tears the letter and retorts : I hate to take other's things Sir and always remember my name is Kalpana vittal Yadav.
It has been 1 months since their marriage but nothing has changed.. Kalpana and Raghav are living like strangers in the house and as boss and employee in the office. Raghav has permenantly settled in the guestroom and kalpana tries hard not to use anything that belongs to Raghav. She sleeps on the floor of the room. Each and every night, Raghav comes to check Kalpana if she is alright and finds her sleeping on the floor. In sleep,she looks
so calm and beautiful. He resists himself from picking her on his arms and placing her on the bad. Though they are married, he has lost every right on her.He has seen the fear in her eyes whenever he is around and that is killing him.Kalpana tries to avoid him in every possible way and their conversation is limited in office. If Heer and Sam are not living here, people would have considered this house empty .
Sammy enters in Raghav's cabin. It is a big day for them.They are going to bid for their dream project.
Sammy : Raghav,I think today you should give the presentation.
Raghav : I wiill do it. I am checking it one last time. Today I don't want to do any mistake.
Sammy : Keep an eye on Kalpana. She is behaving very weiredly.
Raghav : I will sammy.
Raghav and Sammy are all ready for the presentation. Though Kalpana had worked on this presentation, They did not dare to include her in the presentation specially seeing her destructive spree. But Kalpana is all ready with her new plan. she is very stubborn , she will teach these jerks a lesson. Sammy and Raghav are going towards the meeting room and suddenly Kalpana who is coming from opposite sides collides with them. Documents and Cd scatter in the floor. Kalpana tries to help them to collect things. But Raghav stops her as he is very sure that this
collision is very much intentional. He does not want to give her a chance to spoil his presentation. but they missed that Kalpana had silently dropped a different cd at the time of collission and she has sent the real cd out of their eyes with a kick of her left leg.
She innocently asks : should I join you sir?
Sammy : No need .
Kalpana : Ok sir.
Sammy and Raghav enters the meeting Room. Kalpana is sitting in her seat with Cd. she is not feeling good.
Kalpana is struggling with her inner emotions:
Mr.singhania now its ur turn to realise the pain of Broken Dreams.but Why am I feeling bad. He had broken Pakhis dream , my aai's dream and my dream. He deserves it. But my aai forgives everyone though she is not gonna forgive me. am I doing right thing. If I do this what will be difference between him and me. But I am not hurting any innocent people. Raghav is not innocent. But will it give me peace.No I can't do this.
In meeting room,Raghav plays the cd and it starts playing Tom and Jerry. Everyone in the meeting room are silent.How can Raghav singhania commit such a mistake. And Raghav is furious but helpless. He stops the cd but Humiliation he faced is unbearable.At this moment Kalpana enters in the meeting room and apologises to everyone that its her mistake that cds got exchanged and keeps the original cd in the table and goes out.
After the meeting Raghav confronts her about the fiasco.
Raghav : what do u want to prove?
Kalpana : you just can't bear the thought that ur dreams could be broken. U just Can't face the 2 mins of that feeling. Pakhi, my aai and I have to bear this pain for whole life. I know how much it hurts when our dreams got broken.My aai didn't teach me to hurt others. I just want u to taste ur own medicine.I can't be mean like u. I don't find peace in others sufferings.
Kalpana leaves from there but Raghav is standing there speechless. He is hurt.If she let the clients insult him, it would be better.
He is driving his car in full speed and reaches the mental asylum to see his mother.Today , he needs his mother so much. But he sees that Kamla bai is tallking to her mother and Kamla bai suddenly notices Raghav there.
She just can't control herself,she comes running to him as she wants to ask him about kalpi. since one month she had neither seen her nor heard from her but stops before Raghav. Her anger for kalpi and Raghav clouds her love
and she asks : what are u doing here raghav baba?
The nurse who is taking care of Mrs. Gouri Singhania is coming to meet raghav Singhania to tell him about the improvement in Mrs. Singhania's health. She tells Kamla that Raghav has come to meet his mother, the same woman whom Kamla is taking care of.
kamla : Is tai ur mother Raghav baba? why didn't you tell me?
Raghav : Don't you know this Kamla bai? U are hiding this fact from me and now u r pretending.
Kamla : What are u saying Raghav baba? How do I know that Tai is ur mother ? when I meet her, she had already lost her memory?
Raghav: You kept my mom away from me. I have grown up hating my mother.
Kamla : I swear on my all kids Raghav Baba, I didn't know that tai is ur mother.
Raghav's POV:
Kamla maa is telling truth otherwise she didn't swear on her kids.What a fool I am. How can I trust Neetu Kapoor. what have I done? But why did Neetu Kapoor lie to me? I have to find out.
Someone else had noticed everything and heard that Mrs. Singhania's health is improving and She will regain her memory soon and informed this to Sahil Kapoor.
