Last Part :
Kalpana comes out from the washroom and sees Raghav drinking tea. She excuses herself saying that she is not feeling well and goes to sleep. She lies on the bed. Raghav looks at her lovingly.
Kalpana is just pretending to sleep.she self thinks : how can I face u Raghav? I trusted an outsider, not u.
Raghav leaves kalpana's chawl and Kalpana goes to terrace and stares at moon.Raghav is about to start his car, he notices Kalpana on terrace.
Raghav self thinks. Kalpana , I was about to lose all my hopes of geeting u back few hours ago. But now I know that you love me. you have given our marriage a chance.you have kept fast for me.
Raghav starts his car and Kalpana notices him leaving.
Kalpana self thinks : How will I forget everything Raghav. Today,I have trusted an outsider, not u and you are only responsible for it. I love u Raghav but how can I trust u again.
In Kmala bai's home :
Kamla : Vittal, Kalpana still loves Raghav baba. You should talk to her about giving Raghav baba a chance.
Vittal : Kamla, I know Kalpana loves Raghav.But I don't want her to take decision under our pressure becoz it will be no good. I want her to accept Raghav wholeheartedly. I want her to choose love leaving aside her ego. I want her to trust Raghav again. Love is not only enough for any relationship. Love just completes any relationship but relationship starts with trust and respect. I want Kalpana and raghav to start their relationship afresh leaving behind the painful memories of past. It is not easy but it is not hard either. Raghav had taken a step toward it but kalpana is hesitant to step forward. I want Kalpana to take this step herself only.
Kalpana listens her parents conversation.
Kalpana self thinks : Why everyone wants me to go back to Raghav. Baba also wants it. He also thinks that I am leaving Raghav becoz of my ego. Everyone cares for Raghav only. None cares for my dream, my heart. But Don't I want to go back to Raghav?
The night is quite long for both Raghav and Kalpana.They both are awake.
Kalpana is struggling with her mind and heart. Her heart is saying to accept Raghav and forget past. but her mind is not allowing her to trust Raghav again.
Raghav is also struggling with his mind and heart.His heart is saying that she had kept fast for him becoz she wanted to give their marriage a chance but his mind is saying that she did it just for mom's sake, she did not want to disappoint his mom.
In the morning:
Kalpana wakes up and sits lazily on the bed.
Kamla asks her to get ready as she has to go office. Kalpana informs her that she does not want to continue this job and leaves from there. Kamla does not say anything to her as she knows it is waste of time to make her understand anything.
A knock on the door. Kamla opens the door. A man hands over a bouquet and a letter to Kamla and said that these are for Kalpana. Kamla calls Kalpana and gives bouquet and letter to her.
Kalpana thinks maybe Raghav has send her the bouquet and letter. She opens the letter and surprised to see an earring in the letter. She is shocked as it was her earring only. She remembers it as she had kept the other one of the pair safely. Her dada gave her this earrings on her 18th birthday and it is very special for her.so, She kept the other one safely after loosing this one. She wore it on her school reunion party last. She opens the letter hastily.
Hi Kalpana,
you gave me hope on a day when I had lost all my faith on humanity. you helped a stranger. your earring got stuck in my shirt when I carried you on the road. I had kept it till now as It had always helped me to take right decision. It had always reminded me to believe in humanity. But I think today you need it more than me. It is incomplete without the other one like u and Raghav are incomplete without each other. Sorry for the last night Kalpana but I think u really needed a push to trust Raghav again. I had seen Raghav in car at the moment I had opened door for u. I had came India to say Thanks to u but I never did as I saw u struggling with your mind and heart. I know it is hard to choose between mind and heart though people say to choose heart always. I had choosen mind once and lost my love forever.Please don't commit the same mistake as I did. I know u can't forgive me and I don't want ur forgiveness. I want ur happiness. Be happy always. - your well wisher.
Kalpana cries miserably remembering recent happenings of her life. She had hurt Raghav numerous times in all these days. Yes, everyone is right. She knows in her heart that Raghav loves her and will not hurt her again. A person who barely knows them is sure about Raghav's love but she doubted on him.
Kalpana composes herself . she has taken a decision.
At night,
Raghav comes to his home. he is disappointed as Kalpana did not come office and he could not talk to her as her phone is switched off. Raghav does not find anyone home. He goes to his room and surprised to find his room dimly lit,decorated with his favorite flowers and scented candles.
He smiles sadly : Sammy, what is all this?
Kalpana comes infront of him wearing a blue saree.
Raghav can not take off his eyes from her. She is looking ravishing.
Kalpana : Its me raghav. I am sorry for hurting u. I love u Raghav . I can't live my life without u.
Before Raghav can say something, Kalpana hugs him and kisses him on his lips .
The kiss was short but Raghav knows the meaning of her kiss. she has placed her trust on him again. She has crossed the barrier which she herself set once.
Raghav does not utter a single word as they don't need words to express their love for each other. Raghav hugs her back and tries to kiss her but Kalpana buries herself in his chest.Raghav does not lift her head and tries to kiss her again as he is the most content man in the word feeling her in his arms.
After sometimes, Kalpana breaks the hug and bends on her knees and proposes Raghav : will u marry me, Raghav.
Raghav knows that Kalpana wants to marry him this time with her own consent .
Raghav nods yes.
Kalpana : After two years.
Raghav : what?
Kalpana : I know Raghav I am asking too much time. But I don't want to be known as just Mrs. Kalpana Raghav Singhania only. I want to create my own identity before marrying you.
Raghav : You can pursue your dreams after marrying me also, Kalpana.
Kalpana : My success will be easy as I will be Mrs. Raghav Singhania. I want u to walk along with me in my dreams but I don't want u to back my dreams.
Raghav : But I cant stay away from u, Kalpana and after this kiss no way.
Raghav smiles and winks at her.
Kalpana hits him softly : I hate u.
Raghav pulls Kalpana close to her : But I love u Kalpana, I respect u and ur decision and I promise u that I will not back ur dreams but I will walk with u at ur path of success. But now I don't want to live my life in pieces. I had strived a long for my family and Now I cant live without u . I want my family to be my side always. Will u marry me tomorrow Kalpana.
Kalpana nods yes.
Raghav hugs her out of happiness as he tries to kiss her, she runs out of room and finds herself infront of Gouri, Sammy and Heer. She had planned her confession with their help only.
Gouri : So, you agreed to marry him tomorrow.
Kalpana : How do you know aunty.
Gouri : I know my son, Kalpana.
Kalpana blushes and runs from there.
Next day.
Kalpana and Raghav get married infront of their family and friends. It is a simple ceremony.
Priest asks them to get up for the rounds and Raghav tells that he will utter the mantras for each round and to everyone's disbelief, He utters the mantra for first four round and explains the meaning correctly. and in next third round, Kalpana leads and Raghav follows her. This time Kalpana utters the mantra and explains the meaning. Raghav puts vermillion on her forehead and puts mangalsutra on her neck. Priest announces them man and wife.
After three years:
Kalpana is angry on Raghav. He had broken his promise again. He again tried to help her in her work when she clearly mentioned that she does not want his help. He did not help her financially but he threatened the person who is creating barriers in her work. She threw him out of their room.
Gouri, sammy and Heer do not say anything as they got accustomed to this sight as it is very common in their home. Either Kalpana throws Raghav out of their room or Raghav leaves Kalpana in the room.
Gouri : What did he do this time?
Sammy : He threatened Mr. Mehra.
Gouri : He is the same person who is instigating workers against Kalpana.
Sammy : yups but Kalpana does not want him to help her.
Gouri (sarcastically): These two are impossible to live with. I think we should lock them in a room for one whole day so that they can tell each other how much they hate each other and take a decision to divorce each other so that we can live in peace.
Gouri, sammy and heer start laughing as they know how much Raghav and Kalpana love each other but both are strong headed person.
Sammy : Aunty, you know them. and Kalpana is not angry on Raghav for only this reason.
Gouri : Then what is the other reason.
Sammy : Kalpana is nominated for best enterpreneur award this year and he wants Raghav to attend the function but Raghav denied saying that he does not want to attend the function for Ms. Kalpana vittal Yadav.
Gouri : They had taken this decision that they will disclose their marriage infront of media only when Kalpana will agree. But What is the problem now.
Sammy : I don't know aunty and I am not going to support anyone this time.
Heer : Me too aunty.
Next day at award function.
Kalpana is sitting in front row with her family and friends and is eagerly waiting for Raghav and cursing him in undertone.
Host announces the chief guest and Kalpana is shocked to see Raghav as chief guest.
Kalpana self thinks : I hate him. He did not tell me that he is chief guest of the function.
Host announces Kalpana's name as the winner and Kalpana goes on stage and she accepts the award from Raghav and she delivers her Thanks speech.
Kalpana : Thanks for giving me recognisition with this award. It was my aai-baba's dream and they worked hard so that I can achieve it. They are my inspiration. I am here today because of them only .We can't attain success alone as the ladder of success is made by the sacrifices and support of our family and friends. I have achieves this as my family and friends are always there for me.Thanks dada, aaji,gouri maa, dev,heer suhana, sammy, and last but not the least I want to thank My husband Mr. Raghav Singhania for being always there for me.
Kalpana leaves the stage and Raghav follows her. He saves her from the questions of reporters and pulls her towards his car. He makes her sit in the car and drives off.
Kalpana : Where are we going?
Raghav : To celebrate your success.
Kalpana : But I want to celebrate with everyone.
Raghav : I don't want any third person between us.
Kalpana : but third person will be always between us.
Raghav stops the car in anger and looks at Kalpana.He is pleasantly surprised to see Kalpana's
mischievous smile.
Raghav : Are u sure.
Kalpana : Yes. I am pregnant Raghav.
Raghav hugs her tightly.
Raghav : My daughter will always support me in our fight.
Kalpana : No, My son will always support me in our fight.
Note :
This is not the ending of their story. But it is new beginning of their life. Happily ever after is not
perfect term for them as they both are strong headed people. But their love for each other will always triumphs over their hatred.
