NEW UPDATE. THIS CHAPTER WILL HAVE LESS OF RAGNA. I DID NOT PM ANYONE FOR THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER. SO ANYONE WHO MISSED IT OUT PLEASE CHECK IT ON PAGE 42. AND AS PROMISED THIS IS A LONGER UPDATE. ENJOY READING😛

CHAPTER 25: THE HOUSING PROJECT

"A SMALL FLAME CAN TURN INTO A BIG FIRE. YOU EITHER BLOW OUT THE FLAME OR NEVER TRY TO LIGHT IT IN A WRONG PLACE."

Kalpi reached home all drenched in rain. Kamla asks about her day and Kalpi hides the fact of her and Raghav's argument. Ahe goes inside to change. Meanwhile Pakhi calls Kamla and asks about Kalpi. She narrates the whole story to her which surprises Kamla. Kalpi comes out of the washroom asking for food. Kamla blesses her by sayint that this post would lead her towards her dreams. Kalpi smiles at her while her mind keeps thinking about Raghav and her challenge "Main unhe dikha kar rahungi ki main kya kar sakti hoon. Main uss khadoos ko apni kabiliyat prove karke dikhaungi." Here Neetu and Prem waits for Pakhi at the dinner table. Daadi comes and tells that she will not come for dinner as she is searching a new job for Kalpi. Prem smirks thinking now he will reach out for Kalpi to win from Raghav. Little did he know that Kalpi is not available to him even in his dreams.

Pakhi is running late for office and thus bumps into someone and all her things fall down. She starts muttering to herself "Mera boss non-vegetarian hai, mujhe kaccha chaba jayega." She got up to her feet only to find an angry Raghav and chuckling Sammy infront of her. Raghav asked her "Kya kehe rahi thi tum?" Pakhi innocently said "Humour. Mazaak mein kehete hain aisa. Par abhi nahi explain karungi varna aap vahi karoge." Raghav nodded his head and said "Kaccha chaba jaunga." Pakhi smiled cheekily and ran from there. She turned and said "Main aapse pehele office pohoch gayi so you can't yell at me." and runs inside. Raghav looks at Sammy who is busy giggling "Tujhe yeh mazak lag raha hai." Sammy kept his hand on Raghav's shoulder and said "Come on Raghav. She is funny and cute." They both walk inside the office and Raghav and Sammy starts playing chess "Jinka istemaal karna hota hai unke saath mazak nahi kiya jata." Sammy was confused "Matlab?" Raghav looked at him and said "Meri zindagi ka sirf ek hi maksad hai Sammy." Sammy completed the sentence for him "Kapoors ki barbaadi." And both looked determined for it.

Raghav calls Pakhi to explain the presentation. Pakhi once again starts her drooling sessions and is too busy to even hear what Raghav tells about the presentation. Once Raghav finishes he asks Pakhi to leave but to his utter dismay he finds Pakhi busy checking him out. He calls her name loudly which brings her back to reality "Ms. Kapoor!! Presentation ki tayiyaari karo." Pakhi asks what he said last and took a note pad to write it down. Raghav got back to his laptop and said "Tum jaa sakti ho. Yehi thi meri famous last line. Aur haan aaj mujhe bohot kaam hai. Dhyan rakhna ki koi meri cabin mein na aaye." Pakhi tells him "Main akele itna sab kaise sambhalungi. Presentation bhi toh hai na." Raghav asks her to take help from Kalpi. She leaves the cabin and goes to Kalpi cursing Raghav as "Horrible man." Kalpi finds her muttering to herself and asks her about her problem. Pakhi tells that Raghav has given her a lot of work and she needs some help. Kalpi agrees to help her saying "Main toh hoon hi teri madat ke liye." Pakhi sternly says "Tu meri assistant nahi hai. Tu toh meri angel hai." She asks Kalpi to keep an eye on Raghav's cabin. Here Raghav sees the number 29 on his cabin door and smirks "Ab main dekhta hoon Kalpi kit um itne saarey kaam ke beech apna challenge kaise yaad rakhti ho." While Kalpi understands all his plan "Acchi tarah jantey hain ki sara kaam main hi karungi. Phir bhi manna hi nahi chahatey."

Everyone was busy completing their work when a lady in chiffon saaree stepped inside the office. She was beautiful no doubt. She at once made all the heads turn towards her. the guys were all oogling at her while the girls offcourse felt a tinge of jealousy. But unlike the other girls of the office Kalpi admired her personality and thought her to be smart. The lady came to Kalpi and asked for Raghav. Kalpi remembering that Raghav was busy and did not want any kind of disturbance politely asked her to wait "Maam. Sir toh busy hai aur kisi ko bhi cabin mein jaane se mana kiya hai. Agar aap chahe toh wait kar sakti hai." The lady tried Raghav's number but since it was silent he did not notice the call. The lady agreed to wait and that is when Raghav noticed her from his cabin. He at once came out and hugged her "Hey hey hey beautiful. Tum yahan kyun khadi ho? Seedhe andar chali aati jaise boys hostel mein aaya karti thi." The lady replied "Main aa jaati par tumhare sincere employees tumhare orders follow kar rahe the." Raghav faked anger to Kalpi and asked her to order pizza "Tumne isey roka..isey? Anyways ek kaam karo cabin mein do coffee lekar aao aur haan ek pizza bhi. Iss bhukkad ke liye. Yeh bohot khaati hai." The lady punched him saying "Tum sach mein bohot khadoos ho." All this while a pair of eyes had the look of pure amusement. Kalpi could not believe that Raghav the Khadoos was laughing "Arey waah Raghav Singhania kisi ke saath hans bhi sakta hai. Kya baat hai." Pakhi was busy doing her work when Raghav called up and asked her to talk to Kalpi regarding her behavior with his guest. Pakhi called Kalpi and asks her about the same. Kalpi told her that she was just doing her work "Arey tune hi toh kaha tha ki Raghav ko koi disturbance nahi chahiye. Ab mujhe kya pata tha ki vo khud bahar aa kar apni guest ko hug karke le jayenge." Pakhi became alert knowing that it was a female guest "Kya? Koi female guest thi kya?" Kalpi replied a yes saying "Haan. Aur kaafi smart lagi mujhe toh." Pakhi just took her file and went to Raghav's cabin.

Here Raghav and Maya were busy discussing about Pakhi "Yaar Rags are you sure that she likes you?" Raghav looked at her and said "Mere maksad ko kamyaab karne ke liye yeh bohot zaroori hai ki vo mujhe like kare Maya. Aur vo karti bhi hai. Ab kis hadd tak karti hai yeh tumhari madat se hi pata lagega." Maya nodded her head in a yes but she was a bit unconvinced. She somehow felt he wanted Kalpi to be a bit jealous "Isne toh aaj tak kabhi mujhe rukne ke liye nahi kaha. Phir kal jab Rags ko phone kiya toh usne aisa kyun kaha ki tum jab bhi office aao kisi se kehe dena ki milne aayi ho aur agar vo rukne ko bole toh ruk jana aur mujhe call karna. Main khud aa kar tumhe le jaunga. Aur isne uss ladki ke saam ne itna natak kyun kiya as if uska reaction dekhna chahata ho..??? Shayad main hi kuch zyada soch rahi hoon." While Raghav too was thinking about Kalpi and no wonder Maya doubted the exact point. He indeed wanted to see Kalpi's reaction "Yeh ladki itni ajeeb kyun hai. Main uske saamne kisi aur ladki ko hug kar raha tha aur vo mujhe dekh kar itni amused looks kyun de rahi thi? Jealous toh thi hi nahi. Iske jagah Pakhi hoti toh pata nahi Maya ka kya karti. Main kyun uske bare mein soch raha hoon. Focus Raghav focus." Maya clicked her fingers infront of him and got him back to reality. Raghav looked at her and said "Vaise tum aur Saari?? Sach batao yeh saari tumne mujhe impress karne ke liye peheni hai na?" Maya got up from her seat and said "Ab kya karoon. College mein toh tumhe impress kar nahi paayi, socha ab try karti hoon." Both laugh at this and Maya further adds "Actually ek friend ki sangeet thi. Vahi pet hi jab Sammy ka phone aya. Usne bataya ki tum yahan ho toh bas chali aayi. Vaise bhi ana toh tha hi toh aaj kyun nahi." Raghav shook his head smiling widely "Main galat tha. Tum bilkul bhi nahi badly." And they both hug. Pakhi saw the duo hugging and burnt in anger. Raghav and Maya already saw her coming and thus intentionally hugged infront of her. Pakhi knocked the cabin and the duo broke the hug. Raghav went and sat on his chair and maya stood beside him showing fake embarrassment. Pakhi came in saying "Project discuss karna tha." Raghav asked her to leave as he is busy but then asked her to take a seat "Main abhi busy hoon tum jao.. accha come its just Maya." Maya asked her to take a seat and said "Yeh project mera aur Rags...I mean Raghav." Pakhi forwarded the file to Raghav and Raghav pointed out some mistakes. He asks Maya to check the same and she agrees with Raghav's point. Pakhi disagrees and says its perfect. Raghav asks Maya to take over. Maya says that she too found the mistake and thus pointed them out. All the while Pakhi was busy glaring Maya which did not go unnoticed by the other two. Both Maya and Raghav exchanged knowing looks and smiles knowing their plan actually worked.

Prem calls Kalpi to ask her to come on his side but to his dismay its Kamla on other side. She sternly ask her to stay away from her daughter but Prem rudely replies to her and cuts the call. Kamla prays to bappa asking him to keep Prem away from his daughter. Here Kalpi sees the mistakes made by Pakhi and thus tries to rectify them. Just then Pakhi's phone rings and after a lot of hesitation picks it up. She is surprised to hear Prem's voice on the other side asking for her. Prem asks her to meet him thinking she will agree to his proposal. Kalpi at once understood what she has to do and thus agreed to him. unknown to Kalpi Sammy heard her onesided conversation with Prem "Kalpana Prem se milegi...Prem Kapoor se?" Sammy thought to confront her but chose to wait till the presentation. Little did he know what a perfect decision he has taken that will make Raghav fall head over heals for Kalpi.
