Lawdy lord Pri! This is amazing! So far the characters have evolved wonderfully and you've managed to incorporate Prem and your OC Aakash perfectly. They don't seem forced into the story nor do they seem unwanted. I read all 19 chapters in one go and I'm loving it. There's angst, there's romance, there's revenge all mixed into one.
Not sure how I'm feeling about Prem's affection towards Kalpi now. I was originally liking Raghav's jealousy towards Prem but with Prem now vowing to kill him...yeah not so sure.
I'm liking AaKhi but Aakash seems like a grey shaded character and still confused as to what his plan is for Pakhi and the Kapoors.

Vitthal seemed quite disturbed and discussed his doubts with Kamla. But Kamla as usual brushed hi away saying he is imagining things. Nothing like that its just that Raghav loves us all and cant see anything wrong happen to anyone of us. Vitthal just shook his head and thought Kamla is very innocent she will never understand. Hope Raghav is not playing with my child's feelings or taking advantage of her! How do I find out. The whole night he kept debating with himself in his mind and drifted to sleep.
Vitthal woke up and lovingly caressed Kalpi's hair!. Gauri asks him what exactly had happened yesterday night. Gauri had gone out in the evening with Pakya and later when she was returning home she was so tired that she sat down. There Kanta tai spoke to Gauri and invited her to her home. Gauri went and chit chatted there for long hours till it was night time. Then Kamla had come to Kanta's place to ask for sugar.
Kamla had just told Gauri to stay at Kanta's place as her husband had night shift and Kanta was alone at her home. Whereas Kalpi hurt her leg and her boss has come to leave her home. Hearing this Gauri was almost ready to go home but Kamla said, Tai you will have a problem if you come home now as there will be too much noise. Kanta happily tells Kamla that she would love to have Tai at her place.
Hence Gauri and Raghav missed the chance to meet or see each other!
Vitthal tells Tai that how his rajkumari has hurt her leg! Gauri feels bad for Kalpi.
She tells Vitthal don't worry it seems just like a sprain. She will rest completely for two days she should be fine. Didn't the doctor give painkillers? that should help!
Vitthal was wondering how Gauri Tai knew about medicines and all so well.
Tai how do you know? Tai gave a blank expression and said I guess I had known it all along! Kalpi stirred and woke up. She smiled at her baba and Gauri and looked around her eyes searching for her Aai! Vitthal replied she has gone to mandir to pray for you. She thinks someone has cast an evil eye on you!
Singhaniya mansion:
Raghav wakes up and dials Kalpi's number on his mobile. However cuts it as soon as he hears the ringtone. He thinks she must be still sleeping maybe due to the strong medicines. Lets not disturb I will call her later. He was in no mood to go to his office today, an office where his Kalpi wasn't going to be there. He pinches the topmost part of his nose below the forehead with two fingers and closes his eyes. He is not able to bear that he has to spend an entire day without seeing her, as it was pure toture to him. The whole day he did not speak to Sammy too as he believed all thishappened due to Sammy's advice! Poor Sammy!
Kapoor mansion:
Prem has a bad hangover and is not in a mood to go to office either. At the breakfast table he comes in his pyjamas and Paakhi is surprised to see her always uptodate brother in a mess! She asked him what happened bhaiyya? Is everything ok?
Akash looks at Prem and almost chokes on his juice laughing! Paakhi is upset with Akash, how can you be so insensitive? What is so funny here?
Akash controlled his laughter and said I always used to wonder if Devdas was a real character or a fiction but looking at Prem I feel that there can be men like Devdas in real too... This time he just could not control and laughed out aloud! Prem was irritated and tired. He had no energy to argue his head was already splitting into two and he did not like the parathas he was eating!! He almost spit the paratha and said who is making me eat this piece of jute here! I came to eat breakfast and not nibble on a jute sack!!
Atleast we used to get better parathas when Kamla bai used to be here...and he just realized what he had admitted. Neetu was taken aback! Since when did you start missing Kamla? Paakhi was surprised too but she smiled and touched his hand and replied, I know bhaiyya I miss her food too! But Neetu will never understand!
Prem drinks the orange juice and makes faces and says atleast orange juice could have been better... He did not finish his breakfast and leaves back to his room.
Once in the room he remembers the incident of the previous day and smiles to himself. He takes out the phone and calls Kalpi after a moment of hesitation.
As soon as the phone rang...

Kalpi leapt to answer the phone and without even looking at the number answered hello. She thought it was her khadoos and he must be calling her as he would be missing her.After all she is not in office today right? She was smiling when she said hello.
For a moment Prem felt like the time had stopped. Her voice was like music to his ears. He closed his eyes and was trying to imagine her sweet face and smiled.
Kalpana, how are you now? Did you take your medicines on time or not?
Kalpi was taken aback! This was surely not her akdu boss. She looked at the phone screen and realized that it was none other than Prem!!! But why was he calling her and asking about her health? She hesitated for a moment almost felt like cutting the call but then a meek voice inside her said, oh come on Kalpi yesterday he helped you a lot. Aai says everyone deserves a second chance. Maybe this time his concern his genuine and he really wants to befriend us. But why??? Confused she talks in the phone to Prem. Huh hi! Prem! Uh ya! I am ok now! Thanks for calling! It was really sweet of you!
Prem felt overwhelmed, she did not say anything negative today! He felt a wave of relief wash over him that made him feel lighter, made him slightly guilt-free.
He smiled and blushed and asked her to take care as he won't be there everytime to help her. Kalpi found it a bit weird but said yes I will take care of myself! Bye Prem.
Prem did not want the conversation to end so he just said Is it fine that I called you, Kalpi? I mean I know we are not friends but I just wanted to...you know that...urmm...
Kalpi replied before he finished his sentence...Prem my mother says that everyone deserves a second chance in life so I am ready to accept your friendship. I forgive you for what you have done to us but remember I have not forgotten it. You will always be under a scanner, so no need to get offended.
Prem felt like jumping on his bed, he felt like a teenager again. Thank you Kalpi thankyou so much! You don't know what you have done. I had a great burden on my heart but now I feel so nice and light. I promise you Kalpi I will never ever break your trust! We will be friends forever! Bye Kalpi!
Kalpi too felt good. Seeing her smile her Aai came towards her and asked her why was she smiling. Kalpi shook her head and said Aai you were so right! When we forgive people for their mistakes we feel so much better! Kamla smiled and asked Kalpi who are you talking about? Kalpi told her all about Prem. How he had retrieved her bag from the thief and how he helped her yesterday when she was in trouble and how he had apologized for what he had done and wanted friendship from her.
Kamla now looked worried. Aai! Aai what is it? I did the right thing na by forgiving him. Kamla nodded in agreement, touched Kalpi's cheeks and said Kalpi this world is a very strange place and sometimes it becomes difficult to know what we see is true or not. Prem asking for forgiveness is something I just cannot digest. But yes he too deserves his second chance in life. But Kalpi beware and don't trust anyone blindly!
You will know who is genuine your heart will tell you beta. Kalpi frowned and said you are right aai. I too thought there must be some reason why Prem is behaving like this but when he was taking care of me yesterday I found him to be very genuine aai and so I decided to forgive him.
Kamla kissed Kalpi's forehead and Kalpi was surprised with Kamla's sudden affection and looked at her questioningly. I am very proud of you my child. You are so understanding and mature and intelligent too! May God give you all the success that you deserve! I have made tea for you I will get it for you! Then you can have those medicines.
Kalpi looked bored and a bit disappointed. She kept looking at her phone, checking if it fully charged whether it is in the range or no. She did not want to miss an important call that she was waiting for eagerly. She had seen a missed call in the morning. But she never heard her phone ring. I am sure he will call again. Maybe he is busy at work.
Gauri looked at her and smiled. How are feeling now beta? She just smiled and said I am ok Tai! Why you keep calling me Tai like your mother? Call me Atya as your father has considered me his sister! Kalpi smiles and raises her eyebrows and says yes I have no aunts from my father's side. Will call you attu from today! Gauri comes and sits next to her with a huge smile on her face. Attu? It sounds nice ha ha! Gauri gives her a light squeeze on her shoulders. Suddenly Kalpi looks at Gauri's eyes. They were very intense just like someone else's she knew. Her laughter too reminded of someone.
She shook her head thinking I am going cuckoo! How can I even think of relating Raghav the Singhania to my Gauri Attu?! But somehow they both are so similar in respects to their freaky habits of keeping things in an orderly fashion, their features and their temper. Both were short tempered!
Kalpi checked her mobile one more time and Gauri noticed this. Kamla left the house saying she had to buy vegetables. She kept water and Kalpi's and Gauri's medicines near to their table and left. Once Kamla left, Gauri asked Kalpi, waiting for some important call? Kalpi blushed and replied no nothing like that I was being alert you never know they might just call me from office for some work.
Gauri smiled as if she guessed something and said you really like to go to office don't you? Is it because of the work or your boss. Both! Pat came reply from Kalpi's mouth and then she realized what she had just said and bit her tongue. I mean attu my work is very interesting I get to learn so many things and my boss is a very nice person always motivates me to achieve more. That's it! Phew! Attu I think you must take some rest now please lie down. Gauri had caught her and was now laughing but did not want to trouble poor Kalpi who was already in pain. Physical and mental both!
She just wished in her heart that Kalpi get all her happiness. And lied down.
Singhania constructions
The office was in a mess today according to Raghav. None of the files were complete. His clients had lined up but Paakhi could present to only two of them and they did not seem quite happy with the presentation as Paakhi could not answer them convincingly, so Raghav had to intervene and explain. He had to get involved in work and got himself so busy. He admired the way Kalpi handed things as he never had to think or worry about the minor things in mktg. By lunchtime he was completely exhausted and sat in his cabin as soon as he found some free time. Sammy too had come in. Its strange na Raghav when Kalpana is around things work so smoothly and I got to realize this now when she is not in the office. Did you call her?
Raghav raised an eyebrow and gave him a mean look. I never got the time. Sammy smiled and left his cabin. Raghav took out his mobile and finally dialed the number
