but he should be really thankful to kalpi coz of her he is saved from doing bigger damage...Alas its going to be late now...kalpi is gonna be the target of kapoors now...coz surely whatever raghav said he said in public...so many would hear it...and kalpi will be taunted everywhere

Well u basically mentioned pretty much all the options that could be goin' through Raghav's head when Paakhi confessed her love to him Shana. The main reason why I am saying pretty much is because even after she knows that he doesn't really love her back, she still loves him. Paakhi could have had a heated confrontation w/him but she didn't. Instead she calmly told him w/feeling in her eyes, that she still likes him even after knowing all this. Maybe in his eyes, he felt like he was seeing a different side of Paakhi when she told him all this & now he knows how much he really means to her- so much to the extent that she would want to spend the rest of her life w/him. Maybe he thought her feelings for him wouldn't be this serious. Oh, gosh my writing is not the best in this post😆 but maybe all this went through his head at least once or some of it went through his head. I don't know if he reacted like this partly because he was at least a bit touched by her love confession. I am a Raakhi fan so this scene where Paakhi confessed her feelings to Raghav & his expression, really kinda tore at my heart strings 😭. No offense, I am assuming u are a Ragna fan.

On a less serious note, after watching yesterday's episode, my grandma said that she doesn't understand Raghav😆.

well worst is still to come ...i was seeing the older episodes ...and found paaki has been predicted a headstrong girl who would get anything she decides for ...soemthing like raghav himself.

yes paaki had her share of tears but she wont give up on raghav so soon...plus i feel once she knows kalpi is the reason for her rejection ...she will surely go mad...coz neetu will present it in a twisted way ...plus raghav too will not take kalpi side and brush her off saying it was a mere misunderstanding...but now kalpi will start falling for him too as now she will get a soft corner for raghav(well just heard rachan iv..she said now slowly kalpi is gonna fall for raghav )\

so basically now raghav is gonna be pissed between two girls...kalpi will never speak her heart and paaki is ready to have raghav this way or that ...so all i can see is lot of confusion coming in future ...and raghav is really gonna cry khoon ke asoo...when he will see kalpi being used same way by kapoors , the way he used paaki...and then he will realise what blunder he did

i cant see paaki going negative ...instead she will take kalpi side when she sees being blamed for things related to raghav or when prem tries to use kalpi ...coz raghav will never clear the air regarding his feelings for kalpi by words...and paaki will as usual never see under the skin

@Shona...I don't think Rags was planning to confess his feelings to anyone. He was in a hurry to make Paakhi tell him how she felt about him before he could fall more in Kalpi love 😳

@ in blue,,, coming to this point, exactly he was in hurry to hurt paakhi becoz he was aware that he is falling for kalpi more and more day by day,, which is a biggest hurdle in his plan

Nice points. Personally, I felt a little disappointed with the execution of the last segment...Pakhi turning into Kalpi..the clothes, by the way, were horrendous!!

I felt, like some here, that he was so deep in his imagination that his confession came as a natural extension.

I think Ragav might try to recoup his advantage by telling Kalpi that he was simply trying to make Pakhi jealous and he didn't mean it seriously...and even say sorry.

Disappointment? I am in the same shoes!
I don't feel very comfortable with the way things are turning out.
The clothes? That was something which has become big discussion. Now, Kalpi is supposed to be poor so obviously she should not be able to afford designer labels so I never really looked into her clothes ho critically.
Raghav's imagination---that again is something I feel not so positive about. I don't know why CVs are showing so many dream sequences when real life ones may be just as romantic if they tried.
I agree he may throw some excuse like that.

When I started watching EMA and started talking about it with other friends, that is one of the things I stressed on... that it was commendable that the channel let the PH, CVs tell their story, letting it takes its course without rushing the romance. And now we get this Havent most of us here on the forum appreciated the slow build up of romance if the CVs really wanted feedback?

I have to say that editing sucks big time on this show. The famous Ragna hug scene that everyone loved...another very badly edited episode that was!!!

Hey Nandy(thats you name right?😊)!

Agree with your first line. I have seen rushing of love tracks too---and in a way that I can't keep up.
Recently, I feel that the pace is getting messed up. I am yet to read the latest spoilers but apparently Raghav confessed to Kalpi accidentally but did that show in his facial expression?

I am actually very choosy about shows though I've made bad choices and I really hope they pay more attention to details and editing which you point out.

Maybe the ph is giving the show step-motherly treatment since the channel is doing the same.

The only actor from this show participating in the Zee Holi celebrations was Neetu...she has a whole dance to herself!

Hi Shreya, I enjoyed reading this brain storming (head banging) thread more than the episode. Needless to say party scene is completely rushed and totally messy with too many editing bloopers

I am not sure but Raghav taking Kalpi name might be spur of the moment, the guy is so lost in his imaginations he might have unintentionally confessed. If it was his plan...it's neither classy nor far stretched...even if Raghav has planned something he would have rejected Pakhi after her confession not before that. Taking Kalpi name is something I don't think he'll do intentionally.

Anyways last episode has totally ruined the plot leaving no scope for gradual development of RagNa; as Khadoos loves Kalpi now she will be forced to see goodness in his arrogance, typical serial style

Shreya, you posted the exact things I was thinking about during the episode! Not only was this a very fast paced episode, but also it was super confusing. Imagine this: I wake up, freshen up, open my laptop to do some work but decide to watch the episode first because I was curious. When I put on the episode, the first half was normal pace (like it usually is) and the next half just left me so baffled. It took me on a big roller coaster ride, without giving my sleep-deprived brain anytime to process what I had watched. I was left so confused. After that, I went to class and the only thing I could think of was Why?

Why would Raghav do what he did? I had a feeling that he didn't want to confess his love to Pakhi. I had a feeling that he wanted to tell Pakhi that he liked Kalpi (I had mentioned this in my first few posts on this forum). However, I just couldn't figure out why. I mean, Pakhi wouldn't be dying if he refuses her, right? Maybe it was due to the fact that he was aware of Pakhi's initial obsession with the pen that he gave to Kalpi that she had liked and wanted? Maybe he was counting on that one incident and thinking that she would not break down, but also want him so bad that it would hurt - sort of like an obsession rather than love? However, from how he has been shown, this seems too far-fetched. He seemed way too certain so I wouldn't think he would want to just count on that one childhood incident.
So, I thought that maybe he wanted to use the competitiveness between Kalpi and Pakhi in order to fuel Pakhi's feelings for him? In that case, Kalpi just became a pawn in his game. I don't want to believe that but that's what I could make sense.

Or did he only rush Pakhi's confession because his feelings for Kalpi were too overpowering and he had to make sure that he executes his plan before it comes to a point where he relents? In that case, did he change his strategy from going the Ishaqzaade way?

On the other hand, I can sort of understand Kalpi's reaction. I mean, she could have just been so shocked that she didn't know how to face him. First, she knew that it wasn't meant for her because he was addressing her as a third person. Second, the way he looked so shocked meant that he didn't want her to hear. Maybe she felt that she was intruding in something so intimate and got scared off? I mean, I did mention in my comment to someone that Kalpi may just make a run for it if Raghav were to tell her his feelings. She literally did make a run for it, because of how uncalled for it was. However, if CVs tried to make her develop feelings all of a sudden for him then I would be so pissed! Hopefully it's just what I think it is and nothing more.

Also, I am not sure if you noticed his expression when Pakhi expressed her feelings. He was vulnerable at that time, because Kalpi had unintentionally rejected him. He knew how terrible he felt, and that was the precise moment Pakhi has chosen. His expression showed guilt/shock (almost as if he didn't want her to confess) because he had known how it felt to be rejected. There was a crack in his facade today. My only hope is that something good comes out of it, and he doesn't move with revenge anymore. Especially after what he did! If Kapoors were to find out that he likes Kalpi then the first target would be Kalpi and she has already suffered so much because of them. He needs some serious making up for his character, because, as you said, that he was even willing to use Kalpi in his plan for revenge (even though he has strong feelings for her and her family actually helped her out so he could get out).

Hopefully, he holds remorse for what he has done and repents. If he doesn't then there are some really serious high voltage drama that will go on!

Either way, my brain is fried now and I am still no where near in figuring out what just happened.

PS: the girl who gave him her hand was definitely Pakhi! The worst part - Kalpi wouldn't just give her hand out for dance and shush him. That is not her character (unless she wanted to leave the guy speechless and wanted to make an impression on a stranger since she was wearing a mask?)

Shona you're take is very interesting!

Roller-coaster ride? I agree there! It got a really hard to keep up with the pace yesterday which was like 3 times ahead of the regular one. I got stressed over this yesterday. Soon I'll stop using my brain.

@Blue: Exactly! Why would Raghav count on Pakhi's obsession? She wouldn't be that torn by his confession either from his point of view. Right now, I also realize I may be wrong about Raghav using Kalpi because now the spoiler doing the rounds say it was accidental but I felt Raghav had looked composed during that confession---not emotional(he looked emotional only after he saw it was Kalpi behind the mask!) Using her against her family would have made more sense actually but since the start of dance he was trying to tell her something.
Raghav involving Kalpi when he was pushing her away? Now that really left me confused and angry at Raghav's character.

@Green: Where were the signs that he was coming to terms with his feelings for Kalpi! He just seemed bent on this revenge. I don't know what it is though. Anything is possible. So this is a possible scenario too!

@ Bold: You did mention Kalpi running. Thats explainable. She seemed confused! She just couldn't make out what he was playing at!
@Red: Yes, that was the only time when Raghav seemed actually emotional.

@wanderer...i ans. the one u marked green in the above post...while talking to sammy when sammy asked him why is he so hurried...the flashback was shown where raghav picturises kalpi in his arms...which means he was being hurried with plan coz he was afraid that he will fall for kalpi completely and then his revenge plan will be effected.

so he wanted to to make his emotional attack on paaki as soon as possible so that he is not weekend by love to kalpi ...which often softens him
