Honestly same here. I felt like the way he talked was pretty composed. But then again he wasn't really talking to Kalpi (at least according to him) so he wouldn't really be that emotional about it? However, when he did see Kalpi, he realized the depths of his words and the weight/meaning it carried for the both of them. And also the fact that she actually ran away too lol. I know your confusion because I felt the same way. I still am reeling from yesterday's episode but I have just decided to chill. No more hardcore analysis from me for a while now lol. Need my brain to rest 😆
I also want to see the signs of him coming to terms with this feelings. Maybe when he was imagining her, he was way too engrossed in her? Later when he realized, he was shocked as well (as per the episode shown). He didn't realize the depth of his feelings for her until after he actually worded them. Sometimes even we are shocked at how our mind works. This is the reason I am guessing.
Also, now I am confused at Kalpi's reaction. Initially she did wonder when he loved her when he taunted her all the time. But then she just accepted it and smiled so much about it as if she was love-struck. I was shocked. I mean, I guess the precap awkwardness is understandable. But I just hope that Raghav isn't rude to her after this episode because Kalpi would surely be softer with him (and maybe even starting to like him romantically? Hopefully not to that extent yet).
