Have I ranted enough today all over the forum about my unhappiness about an early confession? It just takes away from the charm of romance, wooing, the thrill of the chase, air of mystery, slow building up of relationships and understanding. Grr.

Oh but I posted my speculations on some thread too.

I was so hoping the confession was only in his imagination. I am so unhappy with this development.

Wow! You just expressed every single thing I feel.
I like it slow. And though everyone loves romance, I feel CVs are kindof rushing it!
Its a daily soap, nkt a film so why did CVs leave so many question marks all over the olace.
Rushing, this confession when they hardly showed the development in feelings means that soon theywill simply focus on conspiracies and worse kitchen politics!
I enjoy the falling-in-love process and this is way too soon for any sort of confession

Often romance is rushed to increase TRPs. I sincerely hope that is not the case here where the original course of the story and essence is tampered with for TRPs.
When I started watching EMA and started talking about it with other friends, that is one of the things I stressed on... that it was commendable that the channel let the PH, CVs tell their story, letting it takes its course without rushing the romance. And now we get this Havent most of us here on the forum appreciated the slow build up of romance if the CVs really wanted feedback?

I have to say that editing sucks big time on this show. The famous Ragna hug scene that everyone loved...another very badly edited episode that was!!!

@Sahana
CVs I feel have messed up this episode. So many bloopers!
Raghav was yet to admit his love to himself even. Now I really don't know what to think.
I felt he looked in hjs senses when he confessed and not in a trance because the confession ssemed emotionless.

Otherwise agree with you!
I feel Raghav can be blackmailed using Kalpi only.and not by anything Neetu says.
Lets watch tomorrow's episode to figure out all this mess!

@Shreya & @infofan...Agree, even i hate it when CVs rush Lob confession 😡 It was a mish-mash episode with worst editing & screenplay It doesn't look like CVs gave much thought to what they were doing 😕

Off course Rags will be manipulated by Neetu & emotionally tortured by kamalamma with Kalpi 😭

Why don't the CVs understand that the journey & time it takes to fall in love & realise it is much interesting to watch than a rushed confession followed by heartbreaks & cliched sacrifice etc etc 😡 😡

Im going 2 ways with today scenario:
first: raghav intended to break paakhi heart...all fair in love and war...in this case war is ruling in mind...
Second: in moment of confusion he blurt out the his hidden feeling...

Why Kalpi run away...
First:The sudden confesion made her confused...and this is not what she is looking for...her aim in life is mama's love...becoming someone...

Second: she is on to raghav...knows that he is using her to hurt paakhi...

Shreya, Sahana,

I watched the episode again and guess what? I feel like a fool for over reacting. Not only I spent half the day ranting on the forum when I had more important stuff to take care of, I am back with more comments😛 DUH.

Honestly, my own disappointment over the manner and execution of the early confession clouded my judgement I guess. It was not all that confusing as I made it out to be.

Raghav probably did not expect Kalpi to show up at the party that too dressed in a gown.

He was expecting Pakhi, she mentioned wearing a pink dress and he was not thinking straight. So he danced with Kalpi thinking it was Pakhi. His idea was string Pakhi along, get a confession out of her then break her heart by dumping her later when she was even more emotionally involved with him perhaps thus emotionally hurting the Kapoors. He may or may not have intended to say I love you Pakhi originally at the party.
His imagination took over, during the dance and he might have sensed Kalpi too it seemed at the end of the dance. At that point, he made another attempt at getting back on his revenge track possibly saying he loves Pakhi. Thats when he landed up saying he loves Kalpi. He was saying it aloud, admitting it to himself for the first time more than confessing to Pakhi. He was at that moment a man whose emotions got the better of him and his plans. He looked defeated, broken realizing he can not deny his love anymore.

He was taken aback on seeing Kalpi.

He is fully aware that Pakhi loves him but hearing her confess when he was so vulnerable might have made him realize that he was using and hurting an innocent person in his badle ki aag. Raghav is a softie deep down right?

After Kalpi ran away, his first reaction was his messing up of his plans. He did not for moment give a thought to what might the love of his life who just his confession be feeling. No respect or consideration for Kalpi's feelings. That still bothers me but we may get to hear this thoughts about it tomorrow. But from the beginning it has been about him and his feelings and revenge so dont know what to expect. Maybe now they may show Raghav slowly start to respect Kalpi and not take her for granted.

The many bloopers today, the identical gowns (?) and Pakhi/ Kalpi putting her finger on Raghav's lips is what threw most folks off today and 'confused' everyone.

Although, I still maintain that editing is not upto the mark and the DOP needs to pull up his socks too. Did you notice how often they change the director?

Shreya, Nandy, Shahana and others too!
Read the posts! Interesting thoughts ~ 😊

I too was disappointed that Raghav confessed!

With whatever intentions-we dont know yet! -but a bit too early in the story!

But everything else will become clear only after today or a few more episodes I guess!

So we wait and watch and hope they sustain an interesting storyline !

Shreya, you posted the exact things I was thinking about during the episode! Not only was this a very fast paced episode, but also it was super confusing. Imagine this: I wake up, freshen up, open my laptop to do some work but decide to watch the episode first because I was curious. When I put on the episode, the first half was normal pace (like it usually is) and the next half just left me so baffled. It took me on a big roller coaster ride, without giving my sleep-deprived brain anytime to process what I had watched. I was left so confused. After that, I went to class and the only thing I could think of was Why?

Why would Raghav do what he did? I had a feeling that he didn't want to confess his love to Pakhi. I had a feeling that he wanted to tell Pakhi that he liked Kalpi (I had mentioned this in my first few posts on this forum). However, I just couldn't figure out why. I mean, Pakhi wouldn't be dying if he refuses her, right? Maybe it was due to the fact that he was aware of Pakhi's initial obsession with the pen that he gave to Kalpi that she had liked and wanted? Maybe he was counting on that one incident and thinking that she would not break down, but also want him so bad that it would hurt - sort of like an obsession rather than love? However, from how he has been shown, this seems too far-fetched. He seemed way too certain so I wouldn't think he would want to just count on that one childhood incident.
So, I thought that maybe he wanted to use the competitiveness between Kalpi and Pakhi in order to fuel Pakhi's feelings for him? In that case, Kalpi just became a pawn in his game. I don't want to believe that but that's what I could make sense.

Or did he only rush Pakhi's confession because his feelings for Kalpi were too overpowering and he had to make sure that he executes his plan before it comes to a point where he relents? In that case, did he change his strategy from going the Ishaqzaade way?

On the other hand, I can sort of understand Kalpi's reaction. I mean, she could have just been so shocked that she didn't know how to face him. First, she knew that it wasn't meant for her because he was addressing her as a third person. Second, the way he looked so shocked meant that he didn't want her to hear. Maybe she felt that she was intruding in something so intimate and got scared off? I mean, I did mention in my comment to someone that Kalpi may just make a run for it if Raghav were to tell her his feelings. She literally did make a run for it, because of how uncalled for it was. However, if CVs tried to make her develop feelings all of a sudden for him then I would be so pissed! Hopefully it's just what I think it is and nothing more.

Also, I am not sure if you noticed his expression when Pakhi expressed her feelings. He was vulnerable at that time, because Kalpi had unintentionally rejected him. He knew how terrible he felt, and that was the precise moment Pakhi has chosen. His expression showed guilt/shock (almost as if he didn't want her to confess) because he had known how it felt to be rejected. There was a crack in his facade today. My only hope is that something good comes out of it, and he doesn't move with revenge anymore. Especially after what he did! If Kapoors were to find out that he likes Kalpi then the first target would be Kalpi and she has already suffered so much because of them. He needs some serious making up for his character, because, as you said, that he was even willing to use Kalpi in his plan for revenge (even though he has strong feelings for her and her family actually helped her out so he could get out).

Hopefully, he holds remorse for what he has done and repents. If he doesn't then there are some really serious high voltage drama that will go on!

Either way, my brain is fried now and I am still no where near in figuring out what just happened.

PS: the girl who gave him her hand was definitely Pakhi! The worst part - Kalpi wouldn't just give her hand out for dance and shush him. That is not her character (unless she wanted to leave the guy speechless and wanted to make an impression on a stranger since she was wearing a mask?)

@infofan...Yes that's what i think happened too. Rags revenge plan was a major flop 😆 😆

@Shona...I don't think Rags was planning to confess his feelings to anyone. He was in a hurry to make Paakhi tell him how she felt about him before he could fall more in Kalpi love 😳

@Bold Shona- amidst all the confusion -this scene did stand out - a crack in his facade-as you so beautifully put it. !

If his revenge plan has flopped-what he will do next would be interesting watch. An emotional Raghav Singhania has to make a choice between his love and someone who loves him (as of now Kalpis feelings are a mystery) !
