Rags POV:

Raghav had a terribly busy week with back to back meetings to think of anything other than work. It's been two weeks Kalpi visited him at his place; he didn't got chance to talk to her as work kept him busy and Kalpi too was occupied with presentations as her internship is ending in a week. Amidst the busy day he couldn't forgot Kalpi checking him from the corner of her eyes in the morning... mere thought of her brought small smile on his face & instantly lifted his spirits. However hard he tried to forget he couldn't miss the little affection in her eyes while staring at him. Unknown to him she always has a special place in his heart which strengthened with every time they met. Though he hates to accept... he is undeniably under her spell. It is not her beauty but her confidence, caring attitude, kindness, affection, undying spirit and sorted out nature has bonded him to her in a big way; Yet she is very messy, innocent and gullible, he chuckled remembering numerous times she bumped into him. Lately Mr.Khadoos Singhania has started smiling for no reasons credit to Ms.Jadhav.

After that fateful night Raghav kept himself occupied with work to avoid any chances of meeting Kalpana leaving interns responsibility to Sammy. He purposefully taunted her pushing her ego making her to deliver the best and it was his way to stay connected with her without letting her know the effect she has on him. But now he realised the teasing game has gone overboard and she is deeply hurt with his chauvinistic behaviour and even thinks he detests her. Raghav doesn't know how to tell her that she is always special and close to him no matter how far they are physically. A part of him want to bridge the gap letting her into his life while his rational self is not letting him to make any relationships adding to this confusions his fear of losing dear ones is not allowing him to rekindle his friendship with Kalpana. Finally he decided to treat her like any other employee limiting the interactions to minimal as that is the only way he could think of to keep her in his vicinity! And he is not ready to let her leave his company

The thought of not spending time with her itself is enough to make him desperate. He remembered the good times they spend together in childhood and the night in his place that only increased his desperation. "Why the mere thought of her makes me restless, what she is to me...nothing more than an Intern, but why I feel and think of her so much when she owe nothing to me. I know there is no future for our relationship but still why I want to spend time with her, why I love her presence so much, why her indifference hurts me more than I thought"... "Why I want her to take care of me...what is she doing to me...I know she is least interested in me but still why I search her eyes to find something for me, why I always looks for a reason to fight with her, to spend time with her, why the hell her concern affects me so much...more than I ever thought...she evokes unknown feelings in my heart, feelings that I never experienced before... am I falling for her?? He was gauging his thoughts... "You doubt you haven't fallen by now" questioned his heart.

"Damn it man why don't you accept the fact...you started loving her" screamed his heart. "No I don't love her, maybe I like her or it's just a minor crush" he defended himself. "Why would I love her when she hates me so much", he wondered. "Do you think she hates you...??? "No she indeed likes you the way you do" mocked his heart. "You never tried enough to win her trust and friendship" it chided him. Forgetting the bitterness transpired between you guys...you need to make a fresh start with open mind to win her trust and friendship. "Why don't you give yourself a chance to mend your relationship with her, is she not worth it" questioned his heart. "No she is more than deserving...she deserves some one better than me" he instantly thought. She is an epitome of love, goodness, and simplicity. She is everything a MAN would die for, he thought smilingly.

His chain of thoughts were broken by knock on conference room door, he shifted in his chair before letting the visitor in; he was pleasantly surprised to see the girl of his thoughts standing in front of him with a sweet smile plastered on her face. The great Raghav Singhania's heart skipped a beat seeing the lovely lady who paid unexpected surprise visit. He doesn't know he was actually staring at her until her voice broke his trance. What is it Ms.Jadhav, he asked in a business tone effectively masking his happiness. Happy Birthday Sir, she wished him handing a greeting card, flower bouquet and Prasad. Raghav looked at her shockingly which slowly turned into surprise and happiness. How do you know Kalpi, he asked hastily not bothering to address her formally, the excitement and merry in his voice is blatant. I am sorry sir I'd seen your details while updating personal records she replied. He genuinely thanked Kalpi for the wishes and Prasad too. She spoke about the impending presentations for the next couple of minutes and left the room, blissfully unaware of the havoc she created in him.

Unknown to both of them Pakhi has witnessed the whole conversation and a surge of hatred filled her senses seeing RagNa chatting with each other. She was always under the impression that Raghav hates Kalpi and now seeing their beaming faces and informal interaction she burned with jealousy. After that dinner night, Raghav tried to clear the mess he has created with Pakhi; he apologised for the dance and said he was hallucinating some other girl in Pakhi's place. Though Pakhi acted convincingly, she didn't give up on Raghav and waited for the right opportunity to win him, which never came. Though she burned with jealousy for Kalpi's wishing him first; she brushed her thoughts and ran to Sammy mentally making plans to impress Raghav by celebrating his birthday.

Sammy was more than happy to take Pakhi's help in organizing surprise birthday party for his friend and asked her to involve Snigdha and Kalpana in making the preparations. He was looking for some reason to bring RagNa together informally but he couldn't knowing Kalpi's reservations. Pakhi dismissed his words saying Kalpi's tastes and choices are too boring and down market. Though Sammy was taken aback with her words he didn't let his feelings out as he has bigger plans for the night but Snigdha fumed in anger. Pakhi excitedly started with the preparations thinking she will win Raghav with her beauty and class while Sammy started making plans to bring RagNa together through the party; and Snigdha decided to make Kalpi the star of the night. Each of them started on their mission unknown to Raghav & Kalpana...but destiny has different plans for the night !
