That night Kalpi was fidgeting in her room. It was the first day of office tomorrow and she was feeling nervous. She thought,"Waht if I make a fool of myself ?" Kamla was walking that side and saw Kalpi feeling nervous. She went and sat beside Kalpi. She saw her daughter rubbing her fingers together. Kalpi did that only when she was nervous. Kamla touched her arm and asked,"Are Kalpi ! Kya hua beta ?" Kalpi said,"Aayi.. Mujhe bahut darr lag raha hai." Kamla asked,"Par kyun beta ?" Kalpi replied,"Aayi, kal meri office me pehla din hai. Agar main koi galati ki toh , ya agar kisi ko mein pasand nahi aayi toh ?" Kamla laughed at her childishness and said,"Are beta. Koi tumhe pasand kyu nahi karega ? Aur tum koi galati nahi karoge.. Tum bahut achi ho. Deva hamesha ache logon ke saath acha hi karta hain. Tum chinta mat kar aur so ja. Kal jaldi uthna hai." Kalpi noddes and smiled. She hugged her mother and went to sleep.

The next day, Kalpi got dressed up quickly. Pakhi was aldready out waiting in the car. She was getting restless waiting in the car. She thought,"Yeh Chikki kaha hai ? Kya kar rahi hai andhar ?". Inside the house, Kalpi was arranging her things for the office. She was praying to God about the first day of the office when she heard the honking of Pakhi's car. She said," Bappa.. Mujhe maaf karna. Barbie doll is honking outside and I am getting late. Mujhe aapse aaj shaam aakar saari baat share karungi. Abhi keliye mujhe maaf keejiye." Kalpi said GOODBYE to her parents and went to Pakhi's car and sat beside her. Pakhi was glaring at her and asked,"Itni der kyun laga di ?" Kalpi siad,"Woh kya hai naa, mein Bappa ke saath thi.". Pakhi did not say anything and drove the car off. She knew the kind of relationship Kalpi and Bappa shared.

Neetu was sitting on the sofa reading a magazine while Sahil was working on the mobile. Neetu asked sweetly,"Sahil ! Aap mere liye kuch karenge ?" Sahil thought,"Agar yeh inti sweetly baat kar rahi hai to ise kuch chaahiye. Beta Sahil tayaar ho jaa." He replied,"Haan, bol na Neetu. Kya chaahiye ?". Neetu showed the magazine she was holding to him and said,"Yeh diamond set dekhiya naa ?" Sahil looked at the set adn thought,"Ab yeh kya hai ? Hey Bhagvaan, ab atleast baar mere side par rehna." He replied,"Haan. Bahut acha hai yeh set." Neetu smiled at this and asked,"To aap mere liye yeh set order keejiiye. Haan ?". Sahil thought,"Bhagvaan. Aap iss baar bhi mujhe help nahi kiya. Kya paap kiya hai meine ?" Sahil replied,"Par Neetu. Tumhare pass to hai na ?" Neetu replied,"Mere pass kya hai ? Bas 12 gold sets aur 4 diamond sets hai. Mere pass diamond sets to bahut kamm hai. Sirf 4 hai. Yeh set ka design kitna acha hai." Sahil thought,"12 gold sets and 4 diamond sets are not enough ?" Sahil asked,"Tere liya 4 diamond sets kaafi nahi hai ?" Neetu replied,"Ji bilkul nahi. Aako pata hai ... Hamari padosi hai na Mrs. Sharma ? Unke pass yeh desigh waali set hai. New Year's ki party mein pehenke aayi thi aur dikhava kar rahi thi. Mere liye woh bahut bada insult tha." Sahil said,"To unhe ignore karo." Neetu replied,"O ji. Aise kaise ignore karoongi mein usko ? Aap aise keh rahe hai kyunki aapko yeh sab pehenna nahi hai. Aapko koi kuch nahi kahega. Aapko kya pata. Ek baar aaurathon ke beech mein jaakar dekhiye tab pata chalegaa apko." Sahil thought of himself dressed up as a woman in all jewellry and women surrounding him talking about all nonsense. He shuddered at the thought. By that time, Neetu had started one of her tantrums. Sail was getting a headache. He gave up atlast and siad,"Acha meri maa. Dilaaunga woh set. Ab khush ?"Neetu gave a big smilw before she hugged him and went to her room to chit-chat with her friends about the set that she was going to get. Sahil covered his face with his palms and said.

The two girls had reached the office. Pakhi got a call from her mother and she told Kalpi to go inside the office and that she would be joining her soon. Kalpi went inside the office. It was very big. She was looking at it in awe. She saw people talking with each other and files being exchanged. She saw the glass doors and the environment mesmerised her. She was looking at the side and walking. She did not notice someone walking in the same direction. That someone was talking to someone over the phone and did not see her coming towards him. Both of them did not notice each other and kept walking. Kalpi and the guy collided with each other and fell down. Kalpi fell on the guy. She closed her eyes in the fear of hitting her head. The guy caught her strongly in his arms and hugged her to his chest. Kalpi slowly opened her eyes feeling something fluffy and breathing beneath her. She noticed that she was laying flat on a chest of a guy. She slowly raised her head from his chest and looked into his eyes. They were the same charcoal black that she had seen at the college. She was shocked. It was the same man she had met at the college. The guy just stared at her and she stared at him. The guy asked,"Kya tumhe kisi par girne ki bimari hai ?" This broke Kalpi out of her staring trance. She got up in a huff. The guy too got up and asked,"Hamesha girti ho kya tum ?" Kalpi replied,"Mujhe koi girne ki bimari nahi hai. Lagta hai ki aapko aankhein nahi hai." Raghav relpied,"What nonsense !" Kalpi replied,"Yeh kya baat hui ? Agar ladke jawaab dete hai to no nonsense. Lekin jab ladkiyan baat karte hain to what nonsense. "Raghav said,"Tum baat bahut karti ho. Thanx bolna kisi ne tumhe sikhaaya nahi ?" Kalpi replied,"Wah wah !!! Look who is speaking. Aapko khudi thanx bolna nahi aata aur aap doosron se thanx maangte hai. Kya baat hai." Raghav got angry and said,"Main kisi se thanx nahi maangta. Aur tum bahut baat karti ho.. Agar mein chaahti to tumhe office se bahar nikaal sakta hoon." Kalpi replied,"Haan haan. Aise bol rahe hai jaise aap is office ki owner ho." Raghav said,"Dekho. Tumhare badtameez baaton keliye mere pass time nahi hain. Mujhe bahut kaam hai." Saying this he attended a call on his phone and went awy walking glancing at her. Kalpi was enraged,"Mujhe badtameez bola usne. Us akdooo..." Pkahi had come back after chatting with her mother. She asked,"Are Chikki. Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho ?" Kalpi said,"Kuch nahi Barbie. Mujhe woh Phir se mila." Pakhi asked," Woh matlab kaun ?" Kalpi replied,"Are wahi akdoo jo mujhe mujhe college me mila tha." Pakhi asked," Kya kaha usne ?" Kalpi replied,"Usne mujhe badtameez kaha. Uska himmat kaise hui. Aise bol raha tha jaise ki woh iss company ka owner hai." Pakhi said,"Chikki, chill. Chalo ab hum chalte hai. Hume apni team leaders se milna hai." Kalpi noddes and they both started walking with Kalpi telling herself"Mein kisi se maafi nahi maangta. Mr. Akdoo kaheeka."
