Part 7

Raghav sat on the bench adjacent to the I.C.U
His eyes being constantly fixed on the door
Soon doctor came out of I.C.U.
He went near the doctor
Raghav:How is she now doctor?
Doctor:She is now better
But her head is deeply injured
But you dont worry...it will heal slowly
Raghav:When she would gain consciousness?
In a n hour..you can meet her then but han make sure that you dont stress her much
She is in need of complete rest
Raghav:Yes i will take care of it
Thank you doctor
The doctor shook hands with Raghav and went towards the staircase
At the same time the door of I.C.U. opened and two ward boys took kalpi in a stretcher towards the general ward
While taking her Kalpi's fingers brushed off with his hand
Raghav felt a strange spark across his hand and he watched kalpi being taken away
He followed them but suddenly his attention went towards kalpi's bag on the bench which sammy had handed to him
He picked it up and was about to go but a black diary fell from it
He picked it up
On the top side it was written
The journey of my life-2009-10
There was beautiful creations done by kalpi on the book bind
Kalpi always carried it to write if anything special happened in her life
She by mistake had carried the wrong diary today
It was destiny that made her do this as this diary was maybe going to prove as an end to his past bitterness🤔
He carried her diary and bag and entered the general ward
He glanced at kalpi and sat on the couch
He looked at her diary
At once he thought of not opening the diary
But his dancing thoughts didnt let him sit in peace
He quickly grabbed the book and opened its first page.It read:Special Moments Of My Life 😊
As he turned over the next page he was astonished seeing it
It read-My first meet with Raghav 😳
Raghav felt a strong shiver all over his body
He kept on reading and was amazed how well she had potrayed him in her writing
He was immensely touched with her every sentence

Meanwhile at Kalpi's house:

Pakhi:Baba kalpi hasnt reached home
I called her office she had left long back
Vitthal:Dont cry beta
We will find kalpi
Lets go to the police station
They all leave to go to the police station

At the police station:

Vitthal to the police :Sir i want to file a missing report
Police:okay first sit
Vitthal pakhi and kamla sit on the chair
Police:Han say..whos missing report you want to file?
Vitthal:My daughter Kalpana Jadhav
Police:Ok..when did she went missing?
Around evening,she had gone for an interview at afternoon which ended by evening but dont know where she has gone..even her phone is switched off...pakhi said
Sorry but i cant help
We cannot file a missing complaint if the victim is missing before 24 hrs
Pakhi:But how can you do that..??
Police:Sorry madam but we cant help it
He got up from his chair and went towards the entrance door
Vitthal followed him and pleaded but his plea went on deaf ears
Kamla sat on the bench which was outside the police station and started weeping

At Hospital:

Raghav turned the next page
But he turned it in such a way that he went five to six pages ahead
He was about to turn back the page that sentences on the top page caught his eye
It read :
It was not at all my fault!
He dropped his idea of going to previous page and started reading from the current page...
It was a big day for me
It was the day Of my college fest when I was going to be felicitated as the best student of the year
I was feeling out of this world...

As Raghav read these lines and instant moment of flashback floated in front of him:
Kalpi was sitting alone at the backstage as any time her name would be called on the stage
She was very nervous to face the crowd
Kalpi murmering loudly:Relax Kalpi..its just a felicitation!
Go to the stage,get the award and come back...so simple!
Doing different hand gestures She was trying hard to convince herself unaware of the fact that someone was amuzingly observing her antics
He laughed allowed
Kalpi looked at him and stood quickly
She said:Whats so funny?
Raghav stopped his laughter and looked at her
He took small steps and advanced slowly towards her
He came so close to her that there was a gap of only an incha between them
Raghav whisphere:You are beautiful!
After saying this he slowly walked away from her and went out of backstage
Kalpi felt as if she was sent to some other world only
She even didnt realize when Raghav left
She could feel a strange vibe across her body

Soon her name was called out and she prepared herself to go on the stage
