At least with seasons shows, they can plan ahead for a certain amount of episodes or time. Planning what they want to show, rather than going with TRPs constantly.

Which is why those shows last long without losing their viewers interests- american shows are prime example! Some shows have been running since 80s!

Which American shows have been running since the 80s. The longest running tv series has been ER for seasons. Csi is catching up.

I think some American soaps have though. Eastenders in the UK has been running for over 25 years and Corrie had been running for 52 years (as old as my father) but they are daily soaps not seasoned shows.

Well yea seasons wise- 7th heaven show ran form 1996-2007( 11 seasons). and there is a daily soap "young & the restless" running since 1973 till this very day!!! Being a daily soap, its still a good run!

haha well she used the word "boring" to be exact but inferring same thing because of our convo about the show and american shows and all- its nothing interesting either so thats why shes saying we should add smiley faces just for a false front lol so AT looks lively :)
