I know it all sounds so confusing... But the dialogue was more in a way like" If i had a son of my own he would not have doubted me"...

And again sorry to confuse u... i totally forgot the statement that Maanvi made to Virat when she was talking abt SBs album... She did mention abt seeing the photo of kid with running nose and asked if it was him... But then again it might be Viren...

Now this is confusing ...

but the statement which Anne pointed out .."kash mera apna khoona hota " is very crucial statement .. which should be brought up with Karan's revelation

Did she actually say that? I must have skipped over it but that really would throw a Ekta style hammer in the works 🤢

Wasn't Maanvi simply teasing Virat. That the child in the photo was him, not looking very pretty. But I could have got the wrong end of the stick

well Anne you have a point of dadaji being righteous and honest.,.. but when it comes to the family name he could well be shown a bit grey which makes his character a little more realistic

and their obsession and glorification of Khandaan Ki Izzat would be justified had dadaji played his bit of grey role in telling SB's baby as still born

and more over it's more than 25 years and the remorse and repentance in dadaji might have made him as what he is now and people change over years - wish to see this side of dadaji

I don't need to see real people on tv, but at least with human traits and qualities.

@bold is what i wish to see

pooja you have seen off late Virat's harsh attitude with karan .. his casual talk of after all 75 lakhs .. his agreeing to go on honeymoon .. inspite of make a firm decision .. created quite a storm,...

complaining why his character is kiddish.. why his character is inconsistent... not as mature as Viren's character..

infact Virat's character was given teh human traits or human flaws...but people wished to see a male lead type character in him ..

so you get what i mean to say right .. an attempt to make a character like Virat is creating opposing views ..because they are quite natural and not so TV types ..

Okay, how exactly would 'Khandaan Ka Izzat' fit in with the story?

Like I could get it if the child was born out of wedlock, but if she was legitimately married to the father then how exactly could DJ, a well respected judge go about telling his daughter that the child is dead; would that not institute in some for of crime?

(Rofl, I think we're going a bit berserk in out hypothetical situations :P)

you mean .. you think the boy with running nose could be Karan . 😲 NO way .

that will pop up an even bigger question as Why SB never ever had memories of him.. he could be Viren or Virat,.. but not Karan

Should I just stick to my American/British shows?. Where the leads are no where near perfect and my favourites are not so self righteous. Most have the biggest flaws that you wish they would get over.

Take my sig, in what Indian show would a wife go up and hit her husband because he got her pregnant.

Munni its EHMMBH , and the point is that these CVs have taken a kasam not to show any character grey or negative even to show them as realistic... Jaiswal and Maya being the exceptions... And even maya was just shown as a mean character...They show them realistic only in the positive way...

Wait until the CVs make a turn and justify Karan for all his deeds just making him positive too..

Each character is expected to be perfect... And one who is not is named irresponsible... And what was that really calling Mannu irresponsible for not making a call... I was like Duh...Why cant the elders make a call and inquire ,like how dabbu and chachi called...

When ppl were crying over lame HM i was disappointed over scenes like this..
And as u said Munni they have made J from being THE sister to just a bahu... I really was disappointed by the way they had shown J thinking of the family even before appreciating maanvi on her being selected... I mean she is J..Why show her like that now..I know i am drifting off topic...But then could not keep from writing...
