"WHAT!!!! Sathhiya gaye ho kya??" Manvi replied, her voice brimming with irritation and bewilderment. Virat just carried on forward without bothering to reply. The smirk still lingered on his face which made Manvi think that he was just joking. "Oh so yeh joke tha. Tum kabhi nahi sudhroge hai na?? Chep ki chep hi rahoge hamesha'",they had reached the door by now. Even before Virat could press the bell the door opened. Manvi looked on at the eagerly waiting faces in front of her and her eyes filled up with tears immediately. She had been so heartless the last time'!!! Jeevika rushed forward and lunged forward taking Manvi into a tight hug, crying her heart out. Had Virat not been just behind her, Manvi would have surely lost her balance and fallen down due to the hug's intensity. "Kya sochti hai tu Mannu apne aap ko? Bahut bari ho gayi hai tu hai na. Jo man chahe kar sakti hai!!" scolded Jeevika. "I'm so sorry Di", was all Manvi could manage before hugging back her Dearest sister and crying her heart out. "Itni badi khush khabri apne mujhe batana zaruri nahi samjha Di? Itni parayi ho gayi hoon main apki,"Maanvi complained.

The family quietly watched the two sisters reuniting after quite a long time which felt even longer due to the complexity of the situation. Manvi met each one of the family members one by one receiving warm wishes from all. When the initial outburst of emotions subsided a bit Manvi noticed suddenly that all were there excepting Swamini Bua. This surprised and worried her at the same time. "Buaji kahin dikhai nahi de rahi'.Woh thik toh hain?" she enquired and saw an uncomfortable feeling creeping up everyone's face. "Manvi beta, itna journey karke aayi ho is haalat mein, jake fresh ho kar thori rest karlo. Usse le jao Jeevika beta", Vanshika said evading Manvi's question carefully.

"Kya baat hai di? Sab kuch thik toh hai na?" enquired a totally puzzled Manvi. Jeevika tried her best not to answer her questions and began talking about petty things which irritated Manvi like anything. Being a determined girl, she was not ready to give up so easily and ultimately her di gave up. Jeevika narrated the entire fiasco that took place soon after she had left which left Manvi shocked' Virat had been extremely heartbroken because of her leave. A strange kind of tension was always visible on his face. Despite Manvi not being here he still had the boiled food which he used to eat in order to encourage Manvi to do the same. He had almost deleted the word called "sleep" from his dictionary and spent day and night on his laptop searching for hospitals providing best treatment for cancer. All this angered Swamini bua to no end and one day she called Virat and confronted him on his behavior in front of the entire family.

(flashback)

SB: "Pagal ho gaye ho kya Virat? Din raat us larki ke liye time waste kar rahe ho. Kab bandh hogi tumhari yeh nadaniyaan?"

Vi: "Kaunsi nadaniyaan bua? Kya mujhe apne dost ke liye itna karneka bhi haq nahi hai?"

SB: "Kya chaubiso ghante yeh dost-dosti ka ratt laga rakkhe ho Virat? Us larki ne thori madad kya kar di thi tumhari tum toh ghulam hi ban gaye uski".

Vi: "Enough bua! Bohot bol liya apne. Waise mujhe pata hai apko usse itna problem kyun hai. Asal mein baat toh yeh hai ki aap Manvi se jalti hain. Uski har dukh mein khushi dhoond lene ke tarikey se apko hairani hoti hai . Ap apne zindagi mein itni frustrated ho isi liye uska har waqt muskurana ap seh nahi paati . Accept it or not bua but YOU ARE JEALOUS OF MANVI"

With that Virat left the place angrily while Swamini stood numb with shock unable to react. Her pride received a huge blow and her old wound was revived after several long years. Since then both avoided each other and made sure that they came face to face as less as possible. They had become total strangers in the same house'

Manvi was left speechless hearing all this. She felt that she was the root cause behind whatever had happened. She felt she had separated a nephew from his aunt.

"Yahan tak ki buaji ne Virat aur teri shaadi ke bare mein sunkar bhi kuch nahin kaha'aur na hi Virat unse kuch poochne gaya." This was enough to give Maanvi a 1000 volt shock. "Toh iska matlab Virat joke nahi kar raha tha!!! " Maanvi thought, aloud she replied, "WHAT!!! Par yeh kaise ho sakta hai?" "Virat ne tujhe bataya nahi kya ?" Jeevika enquired surprised. "Kaha toh tha lekin mujhe laga who mazak'par di aap sablog raazi kaise ho gaye?Meri yeh haalat jante huye bhi aaplog Virat ki zindagi daon par laga rahe hai!!!,"Maanvi replied her eyes filled with tears. "Tu nahi janti Mannu, par iss ghar ke saare log jante hai Viraat ka kya haal hua tha tere jaane ke baad. Ankhon se neend ur gayi thi uski, khane ke time spoon lekar idhar udhar karke uth jata tha, har waqt tarapte huye bhatkta rehta tha. Usse nazar milane ki bhi himmat nahi hoti thi meri kyunki jo dard ,jo gham uski akhon mein har waqt jhalakta tha woh main kyun jo bhi Virat ke saath attached hai, kabhi seh nahi pata. Woh tere bagair aisa ho gaya tha ki lagta tha jaise sansein toh hai usme par zinda nahi hai woh."

"Haan beta, Jeevika bilkul sach keh rahi hai . Virat ki yeh haalat humse sahi nahi jaati," said Vanshika entering the room. "Maanvi woh tumse behad pyaar karta hai. Please iss shaadi ke liye haan kardo. Main tumhe guarantee deta hoon Virat tumhe duniya ki saari khushiyaan dega,"pleaded Viren, following Vanshika into the room.

"Aap ko main kaise samjhaun jiju ke jitna pyaar Virat mujhse karta hai utna hi pyaar main usse karti hoon. Yeh main bohat achchi tarha se jaanti hoon ke who mere khushiyon ke liye puri duniyan mere kadmon pe laakar rakh sakta hai' Lekin main? Kya main woh koi bhi khushiyaan usse de paaungi jiska who haqdaar hai?" thought Maanvi pain filling her heart to the core.

Bilkul sahi soch rahi hai tu Manvi .Teri sathgi Viraat ko sirf dard aur dukh ke alawa kuch nahi dega, her mind replied.

Manvi tune suna nahi tere absence mein Virat ka kya haal huwa tha. Tu kyun sab kuch jaante huye bhi usse itna tarpa rahi hai ? her heart started questioning her.

Virat aj tadap raha hai zaroor par waqt rehte hi tu usse door chali jayegi toh woh dheere dheere tujhe bhulakar aage badh jayega. Nahi toh iske baad use apne pyar ke dor mein bandhne ke baad agar tujhe kuch ho gaya toh tu soch tab kya beetegi Virat par? Her mind argued.

Kisey dhokha de rahi hai tu Manvi? Apne dil pe haath rakh ke dekh usme sirf Virat ke naam ki hi gunj sunai degi tujhe. Arre pyar karti hai tu usse !! Aur tere na se sirf Virat hi nahi, tujhe bhi bohat takleef hogi, her heart retorted back.

"So kya decide kiya tumne ultimately Manvi?" Viren asked eagerly.

Manvi tu itna selfish kaise ho sakthi hai ? NA bol de Manvi .Isime sabki bhalai hai, her mind shouted.

Nahi Manvi tujhe aj HAAN bolna hi parega . Virat ko tu itna dukh nahi de sakti, her heart screamed.

"Maine yeh decide kiya ki',"Manvi began, the heart versus mind battle still raging within her. Just then he entered through the door'HE, her life, her love, her partner, her everything. One look at him and she immediately knew what to say. His happiness was all that mattered to her. "MAIN YEH SHAADI NAHI KAR SAKTI'," with this Manvi stormed out of the room, tears streaming down her face. Manvi Chaudhry had successfully murdered the heart within her today and maybe' her Own self as well.
