Part 5:

The day was really getting on her nerves by now. It had been just after breakfast and Manvi had dropped the 50th thing thanks to his presence near her. "Sach mein, agar ek aur baar wo mere paas aaya to mere nervous system ka damage ho jaayega! Mujhe ho kya gaya hai?!" she muttered to herself and walked towards the washroom, looking down, when she dashed against something. She caught the person falling and stared into his quizzical eyes.It felt as though time stood still and both of them were lost in each other's eyes. "Wow…kya catch tha! " Virat whispered, breaking the spell as he held on to her, while she stood catching him. Manvi jerked abruptly and made him stand properly "Er..wo..Dekh ke nahi chal sakte kya? " she grumbled while trying to calm her breath. Virat raised an eyebrow and shrugged "Dekh kar hi toh chal raha tha.Is liye toh gira." he drawled and went away before she could understand what he meant.

After breakfast, Virat called everyone to the hall. "Hello, hi, salaam namaste deviyon and sajjano" he started and Manvi rolled her eyes at him "Hehe..ok ok, let me get to the point.. Main aur meri Bandariya " he indicated to Manvi who frowned slightly "yahan se kal nikalne waale hain. Mera ek case aa gaya hai aur mujhe jaana hai, to Manvi bhi mere saath chal rahi hai." he announced and Manvi got startled. But before she could protest Virat continued "Hum ek ya do hafte ke baad phir wapas aa jaayenge. Atleast, Manvi aa jaayegi, right?" he asked her with a knowing look and Manvi kept quiet. He was hinting at their 2 weeks agreement and Manvi didn't want anyone to suspect it. Everybody grumbled that they were leaving too soon but Virat convinced them with his smart talk.

For the rest of the day, Manvi tried to talk to Virat about the next day but he ignored her completely. In the evening, all the elders went out for a pooja and Virat , Manvi, Viren and Dabbu stayed back to give Jeevika company. They tried chatting for a while but Dabbu got bored and started pestering Viren. Virat saw this and winked at his brother thinking of a plan to rescue him. "Suno, suno, suno!" he clapped his hands to get attention " Baithe baithe bore kyun hona? Lets play a game? Chalo 'passing-the -object' khelte hain! Ok?" he took a cushion from nearby and switched on his mobile's music player. The first round ended with Viren and he had to do his Nagin dance as a punishment. The second round ended with Dabbu and he had to imitate Beeji, which he did with enthusiastic support from Manvi. The third round ended with Jeevika who sang a song for Viren. Finally it was down to Virat and Manvi.

Both of them locked their gazes and continued the game, each one hell bent on winning over the other. Suddenly Dabbu stepped on the mobile and the music stopped exactly on Manvi's turn. "Ye …cheating! Main out nahi hoon!" Manvi protested as Dabbu ran away from the room to escape from her fury. Jeevika chided her sister on being stubborn and Manvi reluctantly conceded. She looked at Virat with a mock haughty look to which he raised an eyebrow "Toh Manviji, ready? Apne punishment ke liye?" he asked slyly and Manvi just rolled her eyes. Virat mutely stood up, took a newspaper and placed it on the ground. "Paper dance. Mere saath. Abhi." he said and lent a hand out gesturing her to join him. Manvi was shocked and vigourously shook her head. "Tum darti ho." he sneered at her and Manvi felt her temper rise. "Main nahi darti." she muttered through clenched teeth making Virat roll his eyes "Oh really? Toh phir dance karne se mana kyun kar rahi ho?" he taunted. Manvi got up in anger and went near him, standing on the paper "Main dance karungi. Paper dance ho ya kuch aur, main nahi darti. Samjhe tum? Ab khush?" she asked and placed her hands on his shoulder. "Bohut khush." he replied with an intense gaze and placed his own hands on her waist. Suddenly Manvi realised that she had once again become too close to him and now there was no way out. Before she could say anything she saw Viren take Jeevika out of the room and winking at Virat.

Manvi tried to step out of the paper but Virat held her tightly by the waist "Jab shuru kar chuki ho, toh poora karo. Dance with me." he whispered as the music started and he swayed gently to it. Manvi tried to be strong but the warmth from Virat's hands on her waist were intoxicating. She involuntarily moved closer to him and closed her eyes, inhaling the scent which was uniquely Virat. She felt his hands move back to her spine and gently draw circles. Each movement was making her senses go haywire and her breathing was almost sparse. He moved his head closer to her neck and buried his face lightly into her hair while she felt her hands clutch his shoulders for support. The time flew by and the song ended. Manvi jerked back as she heard the song stop and silence take over. "Enough! Maine kar diya dance…ab chalo, ho gaya." she murmered avoiding his eyes and went out of the room back to her room. Virat stood rooted to the place as her touch still marked his soul. He smiled after a while and followed her back to their room.

As he entered the room he saw Manvi already lying down on her side. He knew that she was not asleep but didn't bother to talk and went to his side of the bed. He switched off the lights and was about to close his eyes when the lights came back on. He saw Manvi sitting on the bed and pouting at him "Tumne sab se kyun kaha ki hum kal jaa rahe hain? " she demanded making Virat lazily sit up himself. He turned towards her and looked her straight in the eye "Kyunki ye sach hai. Hum kal nikal rahe hain." he said registering the annoyance in Manvi's eyes "Par kyun?! Ye mat bolna ki tumhaara case hai and all kyunki main jaanti hoon ki wo jhoot hai! " she grumbled and folded her arms. Virat imitated her action with a smile "Maine kab kaha ki hum ghar jaa rahe hain? Hum kahin aur ja rahe hain. Aage ke sawal kal raaste mein pooch lena ok? Good night Mrs.Vadhera." he said and switched off the lights again, this time closing his eyes before she could protest. Manvi was flabbergasted at this and plonked on her side of the bed, her restlessness starting again for the second night in a row.

The next morning, Virat made Manvi pack her bag with a challenge and both of them got ready to leave. Beeji and Jeevika were sad at Manvi's leaving but Virat made them smile with his charm. After breakfast, both of them left the place in Virat's car. As they sat in the car, Manvi felt her curiosity killing her. Virat had switched on the stereo and was whistling to the song playing. Manvi kept quiet for a while but lost her patience after about 15 minutes. She switched off the stereo and half-turned towards her husband "That's it!" she said decidedly " Ab tumhe bataana hi hoga. Hum jaa kahan rahe hain?!". Virat kept his eyes glued onto the road and replied "Apne honeymoon pe" not seeing Manvi's jaw drop at his words. Honeymoon?!

Precap: As she saw him leave the balcony she felt some urge overpower her and stopped him. She pulled him inside the room and pinned him to the wall. "Achcha? Toh ye baat hai? Mr.Virat Vadhera, main tumhe dikhaati hoon ki main kya cheez hoon!" she spelled and leaned into him. Virat saw her inching towards him and felt his control snap. Suddenly he cupped her face and pulled her closer to take over her lips. He heard a gasp of shock before feeling fire course through his body as she melted in his arms.
