i am tired of manvi bashing on IF for today's epi. everyone is going like she went overboard- to put it straight - i dont think so. and its not because i luv virman, its because i understand the north indian wedding culture - as i mentioned before on IF, partly because of my background i have been to a few weddings in Delhi. in reality, people do the same, if not more and no one gets upset - they enjoy it. infact last year my friend forgot to mock her sister's massi-in law at the wedding and she was not very happy about the miss :P- in short, manvi's act was adorable 😍, not demeaning. sorry had to rant it out!

If some people don't like Nia/Manvi- please refrain from posting topics which spill out venom towards a character or actor as they have fans too

Agree! Maanvi was just trying to have fun and entertain everyone! She just got caught up! Even i would kind of behave like her if it was my only sister who is like my bff's wedding! And she is really trying hard not to cry because she wants to see Jeevika happy. 😊

I would say that Maanvi did go slightly overboard. Granted that I haven't been to that many weddings, but I do understand where you're coming from about the North Indian Culture thing. There is always a bit of teasing...but in all honesty, I don't think many people would take it quite as far as Maanvi did, even in the spirit of entertainment and having fun.
Having said that, Swamini Bua most definitely overreacted - who walks off like that?! Even if you feel offended, you just take it with a pinch of salt and move on. Afterall, she knows that it was just meant to be a bit of 'banter,' even if did come across as something a little more offensive.
As for hating Nia or Maanvi - I would never do that. Nia is an actress, why would I hater for doing her job?! And sure, Maanvi is childish, but I just love her for that. She is such a loveable and adorable character - I could never hate her!

nice feedback, hun! but as u urself said that u have not been to many indian weddings i assume. in typical fun and frolic u do it, its dilli style at least- that's where half of my family is so i know. we made fun of dadi in one act- showed her as kadhoos, it was our interpretation, she was the one who laughed the most in the act!!!!!!!!!

so, it happens! and swamini is always overboard dear, nothing new and its done to create drama i know that too. its just that a lot of negative posts on this forum got to me

maanvi went overboard , yes she did. no matter how much peole force you , you should know your limits, had she been able to do the same to her beeji? if beeji cant takei t, why will thers in fornt of thier guests do so?
har cheez ka ik moqa hota hai , this was not the place, it could have been done in a smaller place, it could have been done in a subtle way, she could have omitted out dadaji and bua, or madei t a little less ridiculing, but she didnt as she doesnt care for things other than jeevika.
but knowing manvi others including jeevika should haveactually seen what she has prepared!!
yes bua is over the top reaction, but before we get into the bashing nad blaming, see it is all just a cs measure to create more drama, bua has to react in that way so that beeji uses her promise and then more melo drama at shadi.
i remeber there used to be baa baby n bahu wher the bua said the younger bro cant come to wedding, the mom agreed but the family stood by n later the bride said i wont come with groom siding her n bua changing her mind about the bro. maybe some of this is gonna happen in the wedding as jeevika will put her foot down( rightly)
beeji shouldnt have agreed to buas reasoning, she should have said maaniv will apologise publicly and also during the wedding will stay ourt of your way but i cant stop her from attending her sis com mom wedding. she should have stood her ground. these sisters have no parents, yes they have a family but are each others support .
there is no right or wrong, it is a series of wrongs that appear right from the characters point of view. so pls dont take the critiscm to be bashing of maanvi or nia or callnig names to the bua.

I haven't watched the episode yet and kinda don't want to either cuz I feel like I'll be really disappointed...but nonetheless...I think the issue shouldn't be that Manvi overacted or Swamini Bua overacted...because either way it's not Manvi's fault and that's because she was "forced" to perform this act. Manvi fully opted out at the beginning because she realized that the Vadheras are too snobby to understand the masti and fun that is involved with a wedding..she fully said that she'll show her performance to the Vadheras seperately..but not in front of all the guests...so why the heck are both families getting on her case!?!? Wasn't Dadaji the one who encouraged them to perform? The Vadheras are honestly crazy...waaayyy too stuck up!
