Sanjeeda's odd acting skills

What was up with Durga's eyes tearing up when she heard about Shaurya dying from the doctor? Sanjeeda's acting is so muddled up on numerous occasions. Probably one of the reasons this show is coming to an end, at this rate they could have asked Simone to play the lead, who not only speaks amazing English but is one hell of an actress.
I've always thought Sanjeeda wasn't a strong actress anyway, at least in this drama, don't get me wrong, Sanjeeda is very pretty and a lovely person but compared to other actors, her acting is a little fake, it's not very natural, and she's too soft spoken to play someone who is carrying out revenge.

I can't ever take her threats seriously or when she is trying to be sympathetic. Her acting seriously needs work.

If any of you have watched the US show 'Revenge' which is my current fave, you'll see what a strong actress Emily is and how amazing she is at carrying out her revenge.

I wonder if any of you feel the same way or is it just me? I guess I'm extra critical, because I am a writer myself. lol

You are right. Initially she was okay. But gradually her whole character, as Durga , her dialogue delivery, clothes everything detoriated. Particularly her voice became irritating with the whispering tone and lacking clarity. She became a plastic woman with gift wrapped cloth like costumes.
We in our house named her as a card board box.
I felt kangana is beautiful and had good role. Also Dr. Dayal Tkakur, Dev's mom are the only ones along with Sakshi for whom we watched the show. Ayub khan is a misfit for this negative role. He was well suited for gentle roles such as Tapasya's dad in 'uttaran'.
The narration is hopeless with us audience knowing the whole flashback except the main lead 'Dev.'. So the enthu was nowhere to be felt.

Revenge is awesome. EHT stands nowhere in comparison.
Sanjeeda IMO is an okay actress. No great shakes. It is other actors like Simone, Bhupinder, Ayub, Vatsal etc who ran this show. IMO Sanjeeda was chosen only because she has strong looks and not a typical innocent face. She was certainly not chosen for her acting skills.

Her expressions are okay but her dialogue delivery is poor and laboured.

I agree to some extent about Sanjeeda...but maybe they thought she was the perfect role because of these skills of hers - soft spoken, innocent looking...but I do think she hasn't really been into her role as much as she was in the beginning. The show's inception in the first 2-4 months was exciting and she actually was doing a great job in the beginning, but I think now it's just become down and even she isn't as excited in her acting as she was before.

The second thing is, Vatsal's acting has also gone down the drain too. In the beginning he seemed really good, but now he talks very monotone, if anyone has really noticed. I don't feel he is acting like the same Shaurya he was in the beginning and slowly his character kind of just started being monotone. He doesn't talk the way he did in the beginning...towards the middle, it just kinda started going down a bit more. I am wondering if there is something up with their excitement in their own roles.

Simone's acting is AWESOME and she is still doing a fantastic job. Ayub Khan's role is also not the same as it was in the beginning...too much growling is going on with him.

If Sanjeeda's acting skills aren't great, let's talk about the guy who plays Dev...he hasn't been acting that great either. It seems like Simone, the guy who plays Akash/Akram and Dayal were the main hits.

Maybe these actors/actresses are better suited for other roles in future series that will come out.

And also, we aren't supposed to really talk about the actors/actresses in any negative way, but we are just discussing how their roles are/aren't working in this show.

Ultimately, this show is very close to ending, so let's see what happens.

Not so impressive but okay she's trying her level best.😊
Revenge is no doubt a very very good show.English shows I must say
are totally different from Indian shows especially when it comes to horror and suspense.😊

I have not been impressed with Sanjeeda''s acting skills. She always seems to 'act'. Nothing seems natural to her. Her expressions, posture, dialogue delivery all look very deliberate and effortful. I do not 'feel' the emotions she is trying to convey.Nor do I feel with her what she is going through. She does stand out for her limited acting skills and is the odd one out ,especially as the rest of the senior cast has done such a brilliant job.

The most irritating parts about Sanjeeda are her hideous sarees and her dismal dialogue delivery. She constantly invokes the name of the person she is talking to! I find it very silly and totally not natural.

Agreed. I could not relate to her pain even when Dayal died. She was not natural at all.

She was good in the beginning. She had always had that complex, secretive look on her face. Now a days she gives wrong expressions at right places. She is also very plastic at times. I guess like all other actors and makers of the show she has given up already.

Sanjeeda is not made for romantic scenes. She was better as Ms. Durga than Mrs. Goenka.

EHT has become a land of blunders. Poor acting is perhaps a part of it.
