I will also like to add that sanjeeda is not compelling as a heroine. I initially liked her but as i continued to she watch, I realized that I do not enjoy watching her. this may be due to terrible characterization, but sanjeeda is not that interesting on screen.

I agree 100% with all you have stated...

Started off as a very promising show but lost its focus somewhere along the way...

And now it's being so rushed since it needs to be ended...wonder if they will be able to close all tracks logically or will be leaving loose ends...

Great analysis.

I think the biggest failure was failing to uphold the focus of the battle. If they had actually focused on Durga's real reason for getting justice or revenge then everything would've fallen in place.

If they did that they wouldn't need to make side stories, or filler episodes. They wouldn't need to show so many flashbacks of Dev and Nitya. They wouldn't need this cat and mouse game between Sakshi and Durga. They wouldn't need to show us the weak side characters constantly, or episodes full of Karan and Kangana. Basically they could've done without all these excess stories, they could've just used these characters for the main story.

I think that was the writers' because mistake, as instead of focusing on how to punish a rapist Shaurya, and how Durga tries to take him down with his family, and how his family try to protect him they focused on unnecessary characters and side stories.

In my opinion all your points are correct except for the Dev's point the hero of the serial is I feel deliberately shown to be a weak character so that he doesn't overshadows Durga or Shaurya who are the main characters. But now they have sidelined Shaurya also making it a saas bahu saga. I don't find any problem with Dev's character or Bhuvnesh.

That is a complex question. Perhaps SP doesnt want shows with a different theme (other than saas bahu or romance after marriage themes) to run for long on its channel.

Its not because of trps, its not because of popularity or critical appreciation (EHT has both)

Reason must be something else. I cant figure out why SP is ending a popular show like EHT before even a year is over. 😕

Sorry but he does not even have it in him to ever overshadow anyone else.

He has been a weak performer even in crucial scenes that he ought to have nailed.

I only agree that making it clash of women was wrong. Shaurya is the rapist. Not Sakshi or Rajnath!

It is just in top 10 that too at no. 10 only. Maybe that did not satisfy the channel. It was a big budget show. Maybe ROI wise it was not a profitable proposition for SP.

8PM was a bad slot for EHT. Definetely bad. I had put that earlier also. But now the show has TRPs. I mean EHT is not an indefinite show. It will be only matter of another 2 months. So why SP cant give it the 2 months.

It has been very much a different show and is well appreciated. Though I am enjoying the pace would prefer it gets a proper closure.
