I never expect a thing from them and haven't even been watching any SP show in recent years. Just made a mistake of expecting something from EHT. My bad I got fooled by producer's interviews and initial episodes!

Earlier when I used to sit down to watch EHT..I just couldn't take my eyes off the screen untill the advertisements popped in but these days; the same Shaurya-giri, Sakshi-nama and DevGA-masala kinda sucks the life out of show. Romance is taking a troll on its pace. This wouldn't have affected us so much if in the midway Durga had got her targets down as well..instead that would balance the show. The script writer of this show needs to improve elements to save the show from loosing its MIDAS touch. Otherwise, love angle or triangle hi sirf dikhana hai toh there are better shows we can apt to!

Seriously Nash you echoed my sentiments! Dialogues are so repetitive now! So predictable. In last week I don't know how many times Shaurya said Dev ko marna hoga. I have lost count of number of times Sakshi talks about her "instincts". They even use exact same words. Rajnath's dialogues are lame. As a businessman talk more substantial than stuff like deal important hai or aajkal health industry bahut tarakki kar rahi hai. He often talks like a roadside goon himself when he says gundon ko jeb mein rakh ke ghoomta hun.
Honestly if you missed an episode of EHT earlier you'd miss substantial stuff and hints dropped. Now it does not matter if you missed an episode because you have not missed anything relevant.

Why should we watch this show when there are shows with better saas bahu drama or romance? What uniqueness does it have to offer then?

I am not watching a few episodes now. Durga and Sakshi will crack the case with their own way of thinking. Sakshi will therefore try to close the case as soon as possible . Durga on the other hand will give 'main tujhe chodungi nahi' kind of looks. Dev will get well soon and realise it was the Thakurs who saved him. Dev therefore will start confiding inDurga. What happened 2 years back and all and there is a full swing 'prem trikon'

I think I can safely skip a few epis now. Its no point in wasting time.

Agree. Along with romance if Durga continued to target her enemies then even the love triangle track would have been interesting.

The Dev BGM makes me cringe now TBH. It is instant signal of flashbacks and dheele long drawn meandering pointless sequences.
I am not going to stop watching right now. But will give it this one week and give up if it continues like this. I don't watch TV to get frustrated. News, movies and even cartoons are better options than shows pretending to be something else but giving something else.

I agree here, The show is definitely side tracked. One reason I can guess is hey have to keep the entertainment factor as well in the show, so all that romance drama was introduced. But it is high time that they focus more on the revenge track.
I seriously feel that whole shekhar mehra thing was so unnecessary. I agree it did show the fact that durga is so prepared that she can handle any unseen circumstances very well. but they literally wasted like a month in his drama.

I remember reading the producers interview that the show is following a pre-written script, which no change what so ever, I hope they have focused on the revenge drama in the coming episodes.

I hope that this new promo od durga getting engaged to shaurya is also just her plan to be near goenkas and to get her revenge, coz if she marries him then it is bye bye time for me.Because you don't need to marry the rapist to put him behind bars, that will be completely preposterous.

Hey chitra's post reminded me of a point I was about to discuss but I forgot later.
Nitya belonged to middle class family who wore salwar suits or other clothes that kept her ankle hidden. That's why no body knows about that birthmark. Fair enough, but Durga was no village belle. She didn't wear clothes that didn't revealed her ankles and her friends don't have pics that reveal her ankles? Is this thing possible ?
