The best thing about American shows is they have limited episodes and go by the concept of seasons.
Season thing is not much appreciated in India although couple of shows has made a comeback with another season. The problems of season show in India are

1. The story line is already exhausted. There actually nothing left to show.

2. The useless leaps are not required. Why another season has to see another generation ? It cannot be done otherwise ?

3. People do not appreciate a new story line with new actors. Some shows have failed miserably only because people do not accept new star cast

4. All the actors from the previous show are not available. This leads to either cancelling the whole project or replacing them with new ones. This was the reason why Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai season 2 could not materialize.

the makers shud realise there are a million shows running already on tv with the exact same romance-hate tracks with much bigger production houses and really popular actors..the reason EHT stood out was the lack of cheesy tracks and a badass heroine..if she is reduced to a snivelling fiance/bahu, then the production house can say bye-bye to TRPs..i wud prefer to watch other better looking actors romancing on screen at the same time slot..its sad but true..the revenge track is the only thing keeping me interested in the show, and if its gonna go the same old way, then the show just lost one household contributing to its TRPs..

Agree completely with everything. 🥱
I watch this show because of the different and refreshing storyline. If its going to be the same old crap then obviously very people will watch. I have recommended this show to many people but looks like its time to quit myself now.

Dexter picked up even after the marriage and baby. I was disappointed in how they ended the show.

I am now on a marathon of Drop Dead Diva. It is a good and light pass time.

I am hopeful. Maybe my expectations were not high. I was just looking forward to a masala entertainer with a relevant social theme and also for the fact I come from DABH forum and an ardent fan of DABH.
I have seen real low points in DABH from where we fans believed well that's it, and what the hell CVs are doing. But DABH did pull of and it did stick to its original theme of husband supporting wife to become IPS and even now going good as far as the storyline is concerned.
Like DABH, any track in EHT also is starting negative way only. I mean EHT I dont feel as negative as DABH. Because in DABH I have skipped episodes unable to watch the emotional turmoil whereas in EHT so far I have not felt it. I mean the emotions dont go deeper.
I dont think CVs will give any wrong message they will turn around the track.

@shrutiravi
Expectations were there due to initial episodes, their pace and interviews of its team, especially tall claims of the producer. Otherwise I expect nothing from a Starplus show.

@Bold: You realized that now?😆 Well better late than never. Keep in mind never expect anything from SP's show and SP itself🤢

@atominis the more I watch it , more it resembles Revenge. But they can never show Durga like Emily. I dont think Indian audience will digest that. But they are borrowing quite a lot from Revenge

Indian daily soaps sometimes steal concepts from American tv series. Like PKYEK stole concept from TVD😆
