I think after the attack on Dev, Durga will connect the dots and might conclude that Shaurya is behind the whole incident. Also, she would see Nitya's photo in Dev's locket. She might pretend to be engaged to Amir Ali's character only to hint at Shaurya that she neither prefers him or Dev for a partner so that Shaurya stops being jealous of Dev since he is not a threat and doesn't harm him again.

P.S. I SO totally loved Sakshi's W*F expressions when Rajnath called Durga 'beta'.😆 I am amused and loving Vatsal's portrayal of a typical 'kameena' insaan/son. Awesome entertainment!
