@atominis I have said earlier also Dev is too straight forward and this can land him in trouble. Diplomacy and tact are not his forte.

In Malayalam we say vettonu thundu randu( Transalation: Just cut and 2 pieces are there) for such people. They are not evil but will suffer a lot in real world

Great post Atominis.

And I agree Shaurya uses the wrong head when near any woman.😡

Shakshi missed a great opportunity today to teach her idiot son a lesson he would never forget.

Her realizing that her upbringing has had flaws was nice to see but just sitting there lamenting instead of taking some strict action to correct her mistake does not take her off the hook of creating a monster like Shaurya.

Her job now in her life is brought down to cleaning up the mess her arrogant ,insolent and an idiotic son seems to make.

And again we get to see Rajnath too wondering about his son but goes right out and starts to protect him and his image.

Both these parents deserve what they are going through and much more because they are Hell bent on repeating the same mistakes that they have made from the beginning.

There are many more surprises to come from their loving spawn that will make them feel smaller than a gnat in the future.You are right in calling them "Scumbags".

It's hard to expect Shaurya to turn a new leaf when his parents have bent over backwards protecting his spoiled brat existence. Everyone in his world lacks middle-class values apart from his aunt and cousin.

Even when Dev was dancing with Durga and he was visibly jealous, it's not because he remotely cares about her but she is a prize that Dev is taking from his overprivileged hands.

Sakshi is right to question his upbringing. It's clearly different from Dev and that is why Dev is the man that he is. Solid education, strong values, says whatever is on his mind without any double meaning. He won't even take a suit from Shaurya just because he's his own man.

Whereas Shaurya gets to spend the rest of his life getting into trouble and letting his parents clean up the mess. 😃 Every convenience, but no integrity.

Dev's entry is going to make things challenging for Durga...In today's episode he tells Sonali abt 2 witnesses who spoke ill of her...have made it to the newspapers for their misdeeds...Sakshi could have understood this before...with her 6th sense which makes her feel the Durga brings in trouble wherever she goes

Maybe Dev too is in for surprises ...I feel Raj arranged for Arnab's death

When are they going to reopen the Payal rape case?????

They aren't going to reopen that case until Payal is strong enough to testify and she has nothing to fear from the Goenkas because they have made so many enemies in the city. Durga has already taken down a lot of their so-called friends and she is saving the best for last. She will divide Shaurya from his pals when they realize he will drag them down and his name will not save them from punishment. The same way, the Goenkas will be divided when Raj's infidelity surfaces. How do you think Dev and his mom will react when they realize that someone in their own family is an adulterer? And the son of that person is a rapist? There will be cracks that can never be repaired, not even by the strongest of Goenka's lawyers.

Sakshi and Rajnath well they both have failed as parents but I am happy that they both spoke strongly to Shaurya today.

Dev is smarter, but I want him to be assertive. He has already guessed Divya is the key and Navin and Ganguly are in trouble. Someone is playing and Durga is the connect to that past.

But I didnt understand one thing. Sonali as a lawyer what was she doing shouting the case facts from an escalator in the mall and what was Dev doing telling her all this from a public place. Hellons that is what I call brainless act. I mean these are top secret things and you need to be little careful Dev.

And why does he not question the Goenka's in all this more than he is doing.

It is not hard to figure out that they were the main players in the rape case since it was Shaurya that was the prime suspect.

He should dig more into finding out how the evidence was changed than trying to find Nitya's diary and running around Durga and his connection.

You have raised an interesting question. Why he doesn't go after the Goenka's rather than after Nitya's diary. Firstly, he has already been told off by his mom for confronting Shaurya and his parents and after all they share the same house. He has to walk on eggshells when it comes to poking into family affairs. They aren't going to act like there is nothing to hide. Secondly, he has subconscious feelings for the person that is Durga. He is the second guy to be reminded of Nitya when he interacts with her, the first being Shaurya. My theory is that Dev is thinking with his heart. Why else would he order a cake for Payal, a girl he's not seen for many years? Also, he still feels guilty that he couldn't come back during the trial and save his friends. It's not clear who the email was from that was sent from his phone which cut off all ties with Nitya.

It will be easier to go after Durga because she doesn't live under the same roof as him and she seems to have no problem with him. As for finding how the evidence was changed, he needs to have friends in high places who can't be bribed and bought off with favors. Nitya's diary may have clues as to what his own family has been up to during the case which they have never shared.

Dev has got to be smarter. I find something lacking in his investigations. Never looks like he is out on a mission. One should not be so reluctant either. Remember Kajol is stopped both by her father and fianc in Baazigar from investigating her sister Shilpa's death? But she still goes ahead. The resolve is palpable on her face.

I find Dev playing it safe.

I want him to dig details himself than get close to Durga only. Time for DIY job than take easy route of contacting someone who knew Payal.

I forgot to add, I loved how Rajnath pushed Shaurya today as he left living room and Shaurya fell on sofa! 😉

Dev can still respect his mom's wishes but he needs to make her understand that he feels like he abandoned Nitya and Payal at their time of need and this time he is going to find out the truth.

And Dev does not need to walk on eggshells just because he lives with his uncle.

The question is WHY is Dev intimidated by his Uncle and Aunt. And he has to ask that same question to his mother as to why she meekly obeys what they tell her.

After all it was Dev;s father who was the head of their household and so what if after his death the evil duo looked after them that does not give them permission to push them aside.

I agree Dev feels guilty for not being there for Nitya and Payal and he deserves to feel that way because he meekly listened to his mother and did NOTHING for TWO years.

You say Dev is thinking with his heart,then where was his heart two years ago when he supposedly loved Nitya but in a minute forgot that and stayed back just because his mother said so.

That is a coward way out to take the easy road.

He has already obtained the papers from court by using Sonali, now use that and to investigate the case not waste time trying to figure out what Durga is up to.

If he does this the right way he WILL reach a educated conclusion that will help him figure out about Nitya and Durga's connection.

And yes, Nitya's diary could help him especially if she has written all that she went through at the time but it is a no brainer to realize that the only people that were powerful enough to buy off witnesses were the Goenka's since it was Shaurya they were protecting.

When he has made up his mind to see what really happened then he needs to use all his Goenka influence to open doors for him. And if that alerts the evil trio and they put pressure on him then it will be that much easier for him to figure out that his family had a lot more to do with the whole mess than they are telling.

It is too late for him to be soft and meek and comply NOT if he is serious in finding the TRUTH.
