In Ek Hasina Thi, Dev Feigns tears in front of Suchitra and asks for her help in seeking forgiveness from sakshi . Sakshi plays a game with nitya where both of them get nostalgic and Dr mathur too gets emotional as he gets flashes of his daughter. Shaurya confesses in front of Durga that he failed in his architectural exams as he was disturbed due the case proceedings going on then and he accepted Mathur's fake degree offer for his parent's happiness.Further, Dev believes nitya is alive and he aims to find her diary.Durga promises to trap dev more and more in her plan, and punish him for his betrayal to her and payal.Suchitra tries to convince sakshi to forgive Shaurya who does emotional drama to win sakshi's sympathy. Durga pacifies Thakur who breaks down as it's his daughter's bars the next day. Sakshi assures Rajnath about the cancer project coming back in their hands. She visits Durga's house. Durga's identity is under threat as Sakshi almost catches father daughter performing shraadh for the real Durga. She is further shocked when Durga tells her that the Cancer project can proceed only if Dev comeson board as the chief architect instead of Shaurya.
