My idea of victimization is somewhat different to that of yours. I told you I can at best sympathise with her but cannot give her a clean chit. This way world will go without any law and order as the worst criminals will have a story to justify their crime.
Legality ,morality and humanity are different words and are to be taken differently. A perspective which is right from humanitarian point of view may not be right morally and whatever is morally correct may or may not be legally acceptable. Besides, it is not about one family the humanity has to see. It has to judge its responsibility towards the society as a whole.

Nandini is not a criminal but she is not the most righteous person in the world either. She deserved better but there are no free lunches in this world. You have to fight for it. My point stands to where it was, Why didn't she try at all ? She also tried to change her marksheet or something( I missed that part) ? Well, that was immoral enough to begin with.

Coming to think of it, Why is Durga fighting anyways? All the witnesses who turned hostile aren't guilty either, isn't it ? They did n;t have much option. They could sell their souls or get murdered and they chose to live. Why are they wrong and getting punished when we have been guaranteed Right to save life by the constitution?
