Even I am one of those who didn't want a main lead!
No offences to anyone but why can't a TV show be complete without romance.

Why can't there be "romantic" shows and other shows?
Why does there have to be a male lead, long eyelocks, background music with unnecessary Bollywood songs, force introduction of new tracks to prolong the show tenure only to see the leads interact with each other in scenes with screenplays so repetitive that we can actually anticipate what happens next, and not to forget lots of slow-mo and thaay thaay thaay!!!!

Where's the era when there were shows with a fixed and crisp storyline which would start and end, in all its glory, without viewers quitting it midway with a bad taste in the mouth!

Again, no offence to any show, but there have been 3 shows in past which I began watching, expecting something and then to make them typically commercially viable storyline was brutally deviated from the original track, making them typical, typical to suit typical tastes

The suddend intro of Dev to add "color" to this dark show!!! Yes, it did make me lose interest in the show!
To be honest, I am not happy, and it was so stupid of me to expect the commercial Indian TV to give me something different!

Again no of fences to anyone, but I didn't want THIS show to have cute romantic fillers. I wanted it to finish with revenge completion. But looks like this won't be happening anymore!!!

@ NiharikaMishra... Agreed. Even I wanted Durga to struggle alone but then telly world earns its morsel of bread by potraying love sagas, cant help it. The coming of the lead, the breakdown of the female lead.. the story isn't moving. waitign for the Ganguly track to come soon.

Of course I do understand!
This is a vicious demand supply chain. The viewers ask for love scenes, they forcibly push in some, they ask for extensions and CVS give it, they ask fr a reconciliation track and voila, it happens too!
No creativity, nothing out of the box! No wonder, the TRUE artistes get frustrated and pounce on the least chance of exit, to hell with fans demanding not to pull the show off air! There have been two exemplary instances in the last year!
Those worried about their daily bread stay though 😔

The problem is only with us not accepting new storylines and wanting same old stuff again! Sad but true!!

Like someone here said, why can't we have a show with a strong female as d lead.let's just face it females these days fight their own battle! And they dont have any guy drooling or have a soft spot for them. Unlike shown in shows!

And yes there's something missing in that new guy! No charm. No x factor.

I actually like Dev.Actor is not bad looking and his performance is fine but the intensity is not at par with Sanjeeda. Hope it gets corrected in coming episodes. I feel the character Dev demands a demure look.
From a look of it of what ever I have seen in the show Dev seems to be a lonely guy in that Goenka clan.
I mean someone who just dont want to be noticed , would prefer to be in background and a person no one in Goenka family really misses.
I mean he and his mother just exist and since his father is not there have grown up dependant on his uncle and family.
His whole group of friends whether it is Nithya or the guy Gautham shown yesterday comes from different background. So more shades of his character are yet to be opened up.

I have nothing against Dev. I, personally, don't like these types of characters who are too good to be true. These "so good characters" should have, at least, a lot of attitude.
On the other hand, I am frustrated that Durga and Shaurya share such a great chemistry, but they will never be together. What were the CV thinking when they cast the two of them? They, probably, did it on purpose to torture me! I feel guilty whenever I'm enjoying their scenes.

I NEVER wanted a HERO opposite Durga. A friend or well wisher may be like Nolan. But guess what? We have to tolerate a forced character now!

Dev is strictly okay looking and a below average actor and that's my problem and I find nothing wrong in voicing my opinion! 😆 I gave him enough time...a week and meh he's not impressed me yet! Not to mention the character is not well written at all.

people who wanted a new male lead were watching this show for all the wrong reasons, they wanted a love story, not a story of justice and strength in the truth.
so now the new lead doesnt look like the chocolate boy they want to drool at, they arent happy.

i think he suits the role in the show. this show isnt about chocolate boy romance.
