Shaurya and his friends are rapists.There is no question about that. Payal was very much sane when she made the accusation.
But I feel from FB after her parents death and Nithya's so called murder Rajnath might have misbehaved with Payal. I somehow feel he also would have raped her, which is locked in Payal's mind. I don't think even Shaurya knows that, maybe only Sakshi and that's why she is hell bent on Payal not recovering her memory.
Because as far as Shaurya goes nothing much can be done. payal changed her statement in court and hence it was closed. Now to prove it in court even with Divya's testimony is a herculean task.
But if Rajnath did something to her, it will be a new accusation and unlike Shaurya , an accusation on Rajnath can really harm the family reputation.
And to those who think the FB of rape scene was Nithya's telling as told to her by Payal, there was a scene in which Shaurya first goes with the plan of killing Dev. In his weird dream we seem confessing to Dev about the bet as well as the rape to Dev.
Also Rishi asks Karan whether he thinks Goenka's will give their daughter's hand in marriage to a rapist. So the guys themselves know about what they have done. So no debate on Shaurya and co didn't rape.
