Will this show give the right message to rapists?

I really hope this show gives the right message to rapists and viewers in general
I hope they dont show shaurya being set free
He is a criminal ... an animal and should be punished not have an actual love story with durga or anyone else
I hope durga has a love track with someone else later on in the show
By no means should a rapist get married and live happily ever after

Rape is a crime dominant in indian society and should not be shown in the wring way on tv. I dont want durga or payal to marry him.. If durha marries him then it should be purely revenge not love now or blossoming later

After knowing that he is a rapist, he should be punished and if that Dosent happen then This wouldn't be the right message going around. But I want that at least before shaurya gets punished he realises his mistake and truly falls for Durga but I don't want Durga to be paired with anyone else

in my opinion rapists dont deserve love unless they are falsely charges

but if he truly regrets it, then even God will forgive him because we should hate the sin, not the sinner IF the sinner truly regrets it. Then, it can be like he will get punished a lot!

I second that!

Rape is rape and whoever commits it should pay for it heavily. He should be penalized for what he did. His good looks and his richness is not bigger than a crime. No matter how rich and cute he is, he should get a brutal punishment.

And if they show love blossoming between Durga and Shaurya then it will be an insult to all the rape victims and also to the show. This show is about women empowerment and they should stick to it till the end. Durga should take revenge and move out of Shaurya's life.

The thing is in today's society people need to show Rape as a crime and something that should be punished severely. Making the hero regret his crimes and fall in love with the girl will derail the whole plot and in my opinion, the rape issue in general.

I remember in some 90s movies, for eg - Tejaswani starring Vijay Shanthi they showed a girl raped. And the good thing that the heroes do is to get her married to her rapist.

Really? Will that be good for her? To get touched and feeled and associated by someone who violated her?

I see something similar in Durga when Shaurya touches her.

Rape and the victim's PTSD needs to be handled with seriousness and care, not the candy floss or good/bad intention treatment that we usually see in Hindi shows.

This is an indian soap where ppl have d mentality dat "leads have 2 fall in love, by hook or by crook"...n dis is crook. If dis doesnt happen, sp wil close it.

Else, in real life, rapists should be given punishment n so does shaurya deserve but my point ws dat IF HE REGRETS truly, den he should be forgiven.

I do hope they show Shaurya receiving his punishment and I hope they don't show Durga or Payal ending up in love or married to him. And I hope his crime won't be white-washed in the name of redemption.
