Hello, okay I am early!! So you can't really go out with friends when your one hand is decoratively hanging in a blue sling! So here I am, getting more and more comfortable typing with one hand!
Okay, this chapter is for sweetie pie Sweksha, hope you really get a job as Shravan's PA.
Let's see what shall Sumo do now
Chapter 24
"Yeh yahan pe kyun hai!"
" Meri biwi ki photo hai, main jahan marzi lagwaun! Do you have any problem! If yes, I don't care though! Chalo, get to work" he walked around his desk!
Biwi ki photo hai, like seriously!
"Chalo khadi kyun ho, kaam pe lago!"
"Okay"
I turned to get out of the room, "Kahan jaa rahi ho?" He asked.
" Apne desk pe.."
"Woh Kya lag raha Hai tumhe!" He pointed at set of desk and chair, at the other side of the room!
"Ya..Yahan?" I fumbled.
"Haan, mere cabin mein baithogi, mere ankhon k samne!" He smiled! "After all you are my PA Mrs Malhotra! You have to be by my side, all the time!"
I rolled my eyes! There was no way that he would let me be on my own! I sighed loudly, and went off to sit on my chair!
Working with Shravan in the office like sailing through a storm! God! The man really was giving everyone headache! But still it was a treat to see Shravan work so passionately! Did he ever get tired! I never had seen him like this! The Shravan I fell in love with was, sweet, soft in nature; but this Shravan, he was something else and, was not mine!
"Let's go.." he almost sprang out of his chair! He came near me, closed all the files before me, took my hand, and I was on my feet, in a mere second!
"Where are we going?" I asked, while trying to fish out my hand from his pull; and matching his long strides!
"We are going for lunch! Pass mein ek restaurant hai, we are going there!"
What lunch! "But I am not hungry!"
"Yes you are!"
We were ushered to a corner table, Shravan being a thorough gentleman, pulled my chair, and made me sit!
"Order.." he looked at me, waiting.
I glared at him, and then to the order bearer! "One sandwich please!" I said, not minding to see the menu!
He scowled at me, and snatched the menu from the attendent's hand, and ordered "Two Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, along with coke! Thank you!" He waited for the attendant to go, "For God sake, Sumo, at least look at the menu, before you order! You are in an Italian restaurant!"
"I am not hungry! If you were, you could have come here on your own!" I snapped, covering my embarrasment!
"Are you kidding me? You only had soup yesterday! Till now you are starving! You didn't even have your breakfast! So stop that 'i am not hungry' nonsense!"
We had that creepy named dish, but it was yum! Then only I realised that I was this much hungry! Looking at me, a satisfactory smile lingered on his face! He paid for the food, and again he held me by my hand, and pulled me with him!
"Sir, may I come in?"
"Yes.."
A man in a light blue shirt, entered, but his tie was bottle green, with small stars in it, like really! Another freak, I chuckled!
Shravan looked at me, " Mrs Malhotra, please go through this file, and make a report of this!" Then he looked at the owner of that bottle green tie, "Viraj, you sit here, and please point out the vital parts of this project, to Mrs Malhotra!"
He, Viraj came to sit in front of me, with a huge smile, a very infectious smile, I smiled too! After almost an hour, " Mam, I think it's done, so iska print out le lete hai!"
" Sure" I got up from my chair, pressed the printer to its life.
"Viraj..." Shravan roard, making both me and Viraj jump!
"Sir..." Viraj was on his foot too!
"You are fired!"
"But Sir..."
"Go to our finace department, and collect your three months salary and out!"
I was looking both at them, couldn't even understand the head and tail about Shravan's sudden outburst,Viraj just looked at me, and walked out of the room!
Shravan buttoned his jacket and walked around the table and, stops in front of me!
"What?" I whispered! Would I ever understand this man!
" Kya pehen ke ayi ho tum office!"
I looked at my attire, it was a normal, innocent saree!
"A saree I guess!"
" Don't try to act smart, Suman! You are not going to wear, sarree from now on!"
" And who gets to decide that! You?" What was with him, he just fired an employee, and then he was commenting on my attire!
"Suman, don't argue with me! You will not wear sarree from now on, that's it! And I am so not in a mood to argue!"
"Sir, please, I am a citizen of a democratic country, I can wear anything I want! I really don't need your approval! "
He looked at my waist, and I immediately placed my hand to cover! " Really Mrs Malhotra,..." He smirked " we will see.."
After two brain crashing meeting,Shravan called it a day!
We waited for the elevator to come! We were at twenty third floor, of this 'Malhotra Skyline'!
The elevator arrived with a loud cling sound, and he winked at me before entering! Hmmm winking Shravan was not a very intriguing idea to be with! Consciously I slid into the elevator, standing as much far from him, this little place can provide! The liftman pressed the button, and at the next floor, around five people entered, they greeted Shravan warmly! Shravan moved to stand at the back, resting his head on the elevator's wall!
To my surprise, Shravan, grabbed my hand, and pulled me to his side! He looked at me, " Are you sure?" He whispered, his lips, almost touching my right ear! This sudden proximity, and my gut twisted!
"About what?" I managed to whisper back!
"About this..." And I gasped! He encircled his hand around my waist, and his long fingers, brushed my bare waist!
"Shravan..."
"What Mrs Malhotra, tell me.." again he whispered in my ear, and his fingers making patterns on my skin, leaving a tickling yet burning sensation, where ever it was going!
"Shravan please..." I tried to move away!
His arms around me tightened! "Ohhh no no Mrs Malhotra, not so easy...And there are people here, so stop moving! " He smiled!
I glared at him, and he smiled again! His hand kept trailing on my skin, from my waist to my stomach and again to my waist; and I stood there helplessly, all flushed, trying to normalize my uneven breathing! This man, seriously, and truly was my death!
The elevator reached at it's base! And he slid out his hand from me and walked out from it! Again I rooted there, thinking what had just happened!
" What did you do?" I fumed, while he unlocked his car!
" You want another demo?"
"Shravannn... It's not funny!" I yelled!
He turned to face me, his face was hard, " I know it wasn't! If you don't want it to happen again, stop wearing sarree!"
"Areee tum sarree k piche kyun pade ho! Problem Kya hai!"
He seemed angry, really angry, he took small deliberate step up to me, as if giving me enough time to be prepared for his next outburst! " Because I don't want, you to display your skin to others! Only I have the right to see, every inch of your body! You understand! And if you want to wear sarree, be conscious of your surroundings, which is really not your forte! So...Now if you have your answer, please get into the car now! " He gritted his teeth "now Suman.. I don't have all night to stand in this bloody parking!"
What did he say! He didn't want me to show... Ohh my god, he fired Viraj because of this, " you fired him...This is the reason!" I could feel my mouth hung open involuntarily!
"Boss ki biwi pe nazar dalne se pehele sochna chahiye tha na!"
" Tum pagal ho Shravan!"
"Yeh baat to tumhe ab tak samajh aa jaani chahiye, hai na!"
We drove away, actually we flown! Shravan might had forgotten that he was driving a car! Within an hour we are home! Yes home, I needed to decide on that too! He said I was free to go! So I really couldn't stay at Malhotra Mansion!
"Ahemm" I cleared my voice!
"Ab Kya..." He seemed tired!
"Main kahan rahungi! "
"Mera sar chalega?"
" Main mazak nahin kar rahi hoon Shravan!"
"Dekho Suman, jo kehna hai saaf saaf kaho please! I am.very tired right now!"
"Nahin, matlab, mujhe iss ghar mein nahin rehna! Waise bhi, tumne kaha tha kal ki main jaa sakti hoon! Main bass shift hona chahti hoon! Mujhe nahin rehna yahan! Main job pe wapas aayi kyunki aur koi option nahin hai mere pass! "
He regarded me with a long look, but his expression didn't change! "Okay...You can go!"
For a moment or two, I couldn't find any word to deliver!
"But..." He started, and I sighed, " you will be staying at our company apartment! Office k pass bhi hai! Zaroorat k saare saman hai wahan pe! Aur haan, ek cook, ek house keeper, aur do bodyguards honge tumhare sath for twenty four hours! "
"Bodyguards! Par kyun!"
"Meri biwi, akeli rahegi, unprotected nahin chod sakta main!" He stated!
"Shravan, don't you think yeh kuch zyada ho raha hai! " I folded my arms in front of my chest!
" Ya to tum yehin rahogi mere ankhon ke samne, ya fir apartment mein, bodyguards k sath! Uss apartment mein CCTV cameras lage hue Hai, so I actually could monitor! The choice is yours! Now please, tum apne room mein jao, aur mujhe apne room mein jaane do!" He simply just walked away from me, banging the door of the guest room, literally on my face!
Flabbergasted, I turned to retire in my room, only to be seen, with an amusing smile, pushkar standing there, looking at me comically!
"What!"
"Nothing peheli baar Sumo wrestler ko aise haarte hue dekh raha hoon!!" He chuckled! "So you want to move out?"
"Please, yaar ab tu mat shuru hoja! Ekto pura din tere bhai k sath, uparse kuch bhi kar raha hai, kuch bhi bol raha hai!"
I threw my bag on the couch, and sat by it!
" Bhaiya humesha aise hi the!" Pushkar sat beside me, and took my hand into his!
I smiled, "Humesha to nahin! At least maine to nahin dekha!"
"Tune bhaiya see tab mili thi jab woh wheelchair mein the, vulnerable the, tab unki baat alag this! Par aaj woh thik hai, unki woh vulnerability nahin hai! Isiliye tujhe aisa lag raha hai! Maine inhe to humesha se aise hi dekhta aya hoon!" He nodded!
"Aise?"
"Haan!" He smiled!
" Tujhe pata hai, usne Viraj ko naukri se nikal diya!"
"Haan...Suna maine!" He nodded, "To?"
" To matlab!! Kisiko bhi aise kaun nikaalta hai!" I rolled my eyes, Pushkar would never go against his brother!
" Kuch to kiya hoga, warna bhaiya aisa nahin karte!"
" Haan..Bhaiya ka chamcha!" I paused, " ek baat bata mujhe, yeh Shravan bodyguards ki baat kyun kar raha hai!"
Hearing my question, Pushkar frowned! So there might be a reason! It was not only Shravan's overprotectiveness!
"Koi baat hai kya? Bolna..." I nudged him a little!
"Sumo, woh you have to be very careful, okay? I am sure Bhaiya tujhe in sab se durr rakhna chahte Hai isiliye unhone kuch nahin bataya! Sumo , it's Aditya! Bhaiya ne uski jo halat ki hai, woh shayad revenge le! "
Shravan did something to Aditya, " Matlab! Shravan ne kya kiya, aur kyun?"
"Zyada kuch nahin, bass Aditya ki company ko tala lag chuka Hai, aur uske Papa ka bar council ka registration cancel! Simple! He just finished the Ahujas!" He laughed, " though Aditya is not in a state to react, but Bhaiya is being cautious about it! After all this is Aditya we can't really trust, isiliye bodyguards ki baat kar rahe the!" He smiled and got up from the couch, " tu rest kar..Thik hai, baad mein milte hai! Aur zyada soch mat, sab thik hoga! "
I sat there, astounded, failing to understand whether to be panicked or not!
So that's it for now!! It was just a hint what puskin gave to Sumo! We will get the elaborate one in next part.

And yes, Sunain, baby, Shravan turning all grey was an intriguing idea, though never really thought of that while writing the previous one; a particular scene for you, but this would be it! Not going far more deeper, I mean you know!
